Solid place, very good service, live music (that was at a calm and mellow volume) and food was amazing!!!

This place really surprised me. It's a small American/ Italian style restaurant. The food was pretty good. Very family friendly. I liked the bar area and they do special events and specials. Like brunch- $3 mimosas, $2 off happy hour during the week and other sport and private events. Our server was nice but I would have liked a little more interaction. She didn't really help with the menu or be over friendly. One thing that threw me off was the layout. I felt the way the tables were arranged was a bit odd. It was pretty empty and felt really quiet. I would have preferred them keep us all in one section of the restaurant rather than spread us out. I think they could work on the lighting and atmosphere. For the most part our food was pretty good. I was a bit disappointed that my steak came out practically well done when I ordered medium rare. Despite the mistake in the kitchen the steak was still very tender. Overall pretty decent place being a neighborhood restaurant. I did think some of the prices for food were a bit high. Especially bc the atmosphere wasn't very fancy or decorated high end.

going out of business soon - i bet no no no no no no no do not go!!!!!!!!!!! expensive over priced food. waistress was unpleasant. charged for every extra condiment you order including ketchup. yes you heard me...... ketchup..... we actually asked to talk with the owner as we got charged for 3 extra condiments even though we removed 2 from our meal and added horseradish and ketchup. i have no words for how the owner behaved. no wonder the place was empty. she argued with us saying "so if you ordered 10 extras do you not think you should pay for those" she was rude and demeaning and insulting and told us we were lucky she didn't charge us for splitting a plate. omg i have not yet ever in texas been charged to split a plate. especially at $22.66 (before tax) for a sandwich. we ordered the extra condiments when we placed our order. at no point did the waitress advise us that these would be an extra charge. after receiving the bill, we then asked for her to show us on the menu where it tells you that you will be charged for every extra condiment. she refused to answer as obviously it's not on the menu for you to see. this type of penny pinching is unacceptable..... beware of hidden charges good luck y'all going to need it Update: Thanks for your response. It's not at all true but I would not expect anything else.

Excellent food and great service. We will definitely be back. The cornbread is a must try as well. It was so good.

We had been given the heads up that it was on the pricier side, so we expected that. We were the only ones to walk inside at 11:30 (they open at 11) and the lady didn't act overly glad for our service. Maybe their Mother's Day was too crazy and she didn't want to show back up today. Who knows, but she did seat us and take our drink orders immediately. Hubby ordered the French Dip ($18, I think) and it was actually really good! I ate a few bites and commented that the dip tasted fresh and had good flavor. Best I've tasted tbh. I ordered the Turkey Melt ($16) and ended up taking off the radicchio (red cabbage) as it had a strong flavor I didn't like. Both came with homemade fries. So the food was great! It costs more than you would think for the area it's located, we assume it's because it's also a bar/grill. I am glad to have finally given LeTara a try and was pleased with the meal but I'm not sure we will be back. Who knows though? I may get into a mood the spend $45 on lunch for two again. Upon our exit, the same lady as when we walked in was friendly this time and even told us to have a good day. Guess she was glad we left hahaha.

My husband and I stopped in for a late afternoon lunch and absolutely loved everything about our experience. I began with an aperol spritz which I thought was better than ones I had when I visited Italy. Then we ordered the fried oysters and artichokes for appetizers, and they were both incredibly tasty. For the entrees, my husband had the Reuben, and I had the veggie burger, and we both were very satisfied. I also enjoyed the best French 75 I believe I've ever had. The service was top notch, as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

We found this place through a yelp search and they had pretty good reviews. Easy parking. We came here for lunch around noon on a Tuesday. They have an outdoor seating area, but it wasn't set up. I'm not sure how often it's used since it's around 95 degrees outside. The restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered the grilled artichoke, LeTara Cobb salad and the crab cake salad. The server was attentive and kept our drinks full. The salads were really good. I enjoyed mine a lot and would definitely come back here again the next time I'm in town.

Chilaquiles.. they were good. Everything homemade

Brunch kicks off at 9 AM every Sunday. The prices are quite reasonable, and surprisingly, it's not crowded at all, which is unusual for early Sunday before church. The food is exceptional and always fresh, and the service is top-notch.

My asked if the steak would be remade, the waitress took the plate and it took them another 22 minutes to get the steak out. By that time I was half done with my lunch. I will say our waitress was very non-sociable. Her skills of being a waitress was liking. I was originally planning to go to another famous burger place in town, but this American food…read morerestaurant looked and sounded really good from the photos and menu and was close to my hotel. I visited during lunch so I took advantage of the lunch burger special for $3 off. Horizon 76 turned out to be good for another entree I was craving 2 days later, so I returned a 2nd time. They sat us in the same table unknowingly and I even sat in the same seat. We also had the same waiter and he of course remembered us and our drink order from last time. How's that for customer service? On my first visit I ordered a tea and original horizon burger and added a cup of chili, which isn't really listed on the menu but they can addit to your burger for a few dollars more. I had wanted to try the bone-in burger, but they don't offer it anymore. My friend who lives in Ft Worth had not heard of this place that opened around 2020, but then again he doesn't get out much. Burger - this is a very good burger and I would put it up against the best burgers in town. I don't live here, but I bet it would be in the top 3 for any burger enthusiast that likes thick burgers. The sweet sourdough bun really makes this taste even better, not to mention when you have steak blends in your patty, it elevates it quite a bit. Fries - I've had several duck fries around the country and these were not that good. Not much seasoning at all. Tasted like typical frozen breaded fries flash fried in duck fat. Side of chili - small amounts of anything are usually tasty, this chili is no exception. Filled with beans and comes in like a shot glass. They don't give you much as a side. I guess they prefer you to order the $16 chili entree. On my second visit, my buddy and I were craving a good chicken fried steak. We decided to visit here since you rarely see filet / tenderloin as the protein in CFS, plus knowing the burger was awesome, we figured the CFS was probably good too. For my sides, I chose grilled veggies and loaded baked potato. CFS - This was a good version but I didn't really like the breading due to its color and high flour content. I prefer a darker greasier one. The meat was what I came for mainly and it was really good tenderloin pounded pretty dang thin. Not overly breaded, surprisingly. The veggie medley is truly a mix of about 8 different veggies, which you rarely see. Most grilled veggie sides are 3-4 at most. Overall, my best friend was super impressed and now he wants to return to their BBQ restaurant next door. I was also impressed, but I would come back for a burger or another entree next time.
