Tried the congee recently with Chinese donut and it was the comfort food I was craving. Cash only inside Aberdeen mall. The egg and ham sandwich is one of our favorites as well as the beef with egg on rice. The OX seafood fried rice is also highly recommended! Pay a bit more you can have the cold sweet lemon ice tea with your meal. Just about everything is ready in 10 minutes. The portions are generous and the quality better than average compared to those in a fast food court. It's always hustle and bustle here.

Love that I can start bringing my own Tupperware again (if I remember). And love that they have the plum sauce in stock again.

My husband and I were out in Richmond and decided to head to Aberdeen Centre food court for a quick and simple dinner. I chose an Eggplant and Fish with Black Bean Sauce on rice from the Leung Kee Cantonese Food stall. I havn't been the biggest fan of black bean dishes throughout my life, but maybe my taste buds are changing or maybe this dish was just an exception to the rule because I really enjoyed this dish. My husband tried some of my dish and even though he's usually not as crazy about eggplant as I am, he really took a liking to this dish as well. It was warm, tasty and very satisfying! Very generous portions too. Always happy to bring home leftovers as it means less cooking for us the next day! Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free! Location: Inside Aberdeen Centre Food court

BBQ Pork and Wonton Noodle Soup: a great choice all-year round!

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE === 2. FOOD Steamed Minced Pork on Rice A thick tasty patty sits on some chop sum, on a bed of rice. Simple but delish! BBQ Pork Wonton Noodle Soup There's a few pieces of BBQ pork hidden underneath the generously portioned (and numbered) wonton in soup that doesn't taste like MSG...so this is a pretty good pick! === 3. SERVICE For an English speaker, there is typically one lady that is able to serve me; for those speaking Cantonese or Mandarin, it seems like all other ladies can serve you. Either way, it works well - I just wish they accepted more than just cash for payment! Unlike all other vendors in the food court, they use a numbering system and a large-screen TV that shows when your order is ready - great especially during the pandemic to avoid contact! === 4. ENVIRONMENT Like all other vendors in the Aberdeen Centre food court: it's a takeout stall that's relatively new/modern and it's surrounded by lots of tables big and small. Parking is typically available in the centre's large parkade.

$9.95 Club Spaghetti. Good presentation, but cheap and tasteless dish :/ Huge portion though. Don't order this!

I visited here on December 19th for lunch. I like the food in Leung Kee for the generous portions, but hygiene part was bothersome. I had to talk to the staff when there was a hair spotted in my food. Turns out none of the kitchen staff were hair nets when they should be. Counter staff gave me a new one without the hair. I really want to support Leung Kee, but hygiene is so important in the food industry. I just had to vote 2 stars for this reason.

A night to remember in Richmond- Aberdeen Centre food court 4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond Leung Kee Cantonese Food Was in Richmond for the evening, decided to go to Aberdeen Centre Mall's food court... a huge array of food stall with many varieties of Asian food... lots of Cantonese cuisine. We were walking around & my hubby spotted the steamed meat pie on the menu... Say no more... this is it! He opted for the meat pie, the meat pie was Huge! Literally covered the surface of the takeout container, the flavours were spot on! Needless to say, my hubby was in heaven, for the price of $12.50, it was alot of food, comes with some fresh green veggies, to make it a combo, you can get a large iced lemon tea for $2.50. The iced lemon tea was good, not too sweet. I opted for the pork ribs cooked with black bean on rice, another huge serving! Comes with fresh veggies. I managed to eat only half of the portion & brought it home for the next meal. The pork ribs had lots of meat, it was tasty & not overpowered by the black beans. All in all an excellent meal with decent prices. If you are missing in Cantonese food without the exorbitant prices. Check it out, you won't regret it. Servers are pretty helpful & nice! We asked for the cover for the takeout container to go as the portions were huge.

Pictures look much better than the taste unfortunately here in the food court. The duck in the noodle soup was meaty but lacked seasoning and depth of flavor as was the broth. Good size serving but we didn't finish nor take it away. The beef noodles with black bean sauce was plentiful and close to decent but noodles were oily, the beef again lacked depth of flavor and there were about 4-6 pieces of peppers plus onions. They charged $0.50 for 2 cups of water, ok. And we got 2 small napkins that couldn't even be enough to wipe up the running sauce on the container. What can you say when it's food court meal, right? but this is Aberdeen?! Oh well...

This is Hong Kong food done right. Tastes very homey and goes above expectations in a some random ways. I.e. how do you roast duck that well in a food court in a mall? Iono but I am impressed. Price is right and the food is great too. Parents got the curry brisket noodle soup and roast duck noodle soup and both are good. Portion sizes are great and the duck is really flavorful. Soup on the duck noodle is clean tasting the way it should be. Noodles on the curry beef are thicker to absorb that curry flavor and its something I've never actually tried before but its quite good as well. It's not super potent but thin enough to enjoy without thinking that you're drinking curry. Can't really go wrong. I'm sure the other noodle soup dishes are good too from looking around at others orders.

Classic hk cafe right in the middle of aberdeen food court! cant go wrong here for sure! they have an afternoon tea special menu which was now served all day... got the curry beef on rice noodle with cold milk tea. around $ 8.5 and also got the ham and cheese baked pasta with cream sauce for my son. curry beef was so tender melt in your mouth texture. the brisket was perfectly cooked and stewed to achieve such tender goodness. the sauce was fragrant and aromatic that it complimented the soup base really well. rice flat noodles were cooked al dente...cold milk tea was done as it should. cold smooth and bursting with flavour! the pasta dish was awesome. huge and tasty, came piping hot and oozing with cheesy goodness...son loved it , i loved it. even had some leftover for his lunch the next day. always an ild reliable! cant go wrong patronizing this place. despite being a busy sunday, food came quick, correct, hot and fresh! happy eating!!

She wanted to go to Kirin. Plenty of parking in the mall. Hostess greeted and seated us promptly. Restaurant was busy but not crazy. This was at 10am on a Thursday. Waiters were attentive. Usual table service was in place. Took our order and food came out at acceptable pace. When we were done, they politely boxed up the leftovers and we paid our bill. So service was on point. The food we ordered came out hot. The staples that I order to test was hargow, suimai and pai gwut(spareribs). All 3 dishes in general were good.....the hargow could have used an extra minute or 2 in the steamer. The suimai was very good. I tasted every ingredient in this dish. Usually it is just a complete mix and you can't discern the different flavors. They tried something different with the cheongfun by adding pieces of Chinese donut to the roll. I personally think it didn't add much to the dish, taste or texture wise. I did like the pea shoots with shrimp. I think it is a good combo. All in all a good dimsum. I also noticed they did not charge us a tea service. The cost of the food is comparable with other restaurants at this level. Yes come on a date or impress business clients/boss or family celebrations.

On a typical Sunday evening, the restaurant is usually fully occupied, but my friend had thoughtfully made a reservation a week in advance, so our table for five was ready upon arrival. As always, the restaurant was clean and well maintained, with good airflow thanks to the wide-open front entrance facing the parkade. The front desk receptionist greeted us cordially, and we were escorted to a cozy table in a comfortable location -- not too close to the washrooms, which I appreciated. Our meal began with the Kirin Special Assorted Cold Appetizer, followed by Crab Meat, Dried Scallops, and Fish Maw Soup. The soup arrived piping hot and was delicious, with a generous portion that could easily have served eight people. We also enjoyed Pea Tips Braised with Bean Curd and Assorted Mushrooms in Consommé, Marinated Free-Range Crispy Skin Chicken, Fillet of Cod Sautéed with Seasonal Vegetables, and Live Crab in Consommé with Ginger and Green Onion, served with E-fu Noodles. Overall, the quality and taste of every entrée were excellent. Service was top-notch -- tea and hot water were refilled constantly, bones and used plates were replaced promptly, and the servers were friendly and engaging throughout the evening. My friend and his family have apparently been regulars at this location for over two decades, which likely contributed to the exceptional attentiveness we received. However, one aspect of the experience genuinely disturbed me. All servers, including the captains, continued to wear masks at all times. While this practice was understandable two years ago, now -- five years after the onset of the pandemic, with COVID-19 managed similarly to other seasonal respiratory illnesses -- the continued universal masking in a fine-dining environment feels unnecessary and detracts from the overall guest experience. Fine dining, in my view as an avid foodie, is built on human connection, hospitality, and personal interaction. Masks create a more impersonal, almost clinical atmosphere. In a well-ventilated space like this, the environmental risk does not seem to justify the visual and social trade-off. Rather than providing reassurance, the persistent masking may unintentionally signal that the environment is unsafe or that management is out of step with current provincial health guidelines, where masking is now a personal choice rather than a mandate. Final verdict: Food & Service: 5/5 Ambience: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 -- as the current aesthetic feels more like a relic of 2020 than a leader in 2026 hospitality.

I used to come here often with friends and families for breakfast and wanted to see whether it still tasted just as good. We each got two items from the breakfast combo, A through D. A to Cs are our usual options and upgrade to French toast. The eggs were somewhat on the drier side and i personally prefer fluffy ones. The beef noodles and the congee continue to be my favorites. The beef noodle broth is flavorful and the congee definitely comforted my soul. The items listed in D are always a miss. We have tried all items and none of them was delicious. For example, the steamed rice rolls were very doughy. Other times, they were very dry. The items in D sometimes felt like they're frozen dim sum items sold at grocery stores. Service is a hit or miss depending on which server you get. Sometimes you get servers who come and refill tea and provides actual service. Other times, no one comes by at all even when there is no tea in cups, etc.
