Had the best rate compared to other companies. Both movers were very respectful and careful throughout the entire process. Everything was wrapped well and they came very prepared. A small item did break but nothing valuable or even worth taking the time to make a claim. They did take a well deserved lunch break between the 30 min drive from my old place to my new place - and i'm not sure whether this was on my billable time. I'm happy with the service and would recommend them. They could, however, improve on communication when it comes to booking/questions. read more

We had two storage garage filled with painting supplies, large canvases and other expensive furniture for work. The movers handled everything with ease and a positive attitude. Mind you, there was still my personal belongings and furniture at my studio that needed to be moved. It took two trips and a whole day to move everything but they did it!!! Level Up was one of the first companies to respond to my request (on Yelp) and their rate was very reasonable. I decided to go with them based on the reviews I saw on Yelp and was able to book a time that worked for me. I used Level Up to move furniture from Los Angeles to a warehouse in Santa Ana. One of the movers called me in the morning to let me know he was on the way and gave an approximate arrival time. After he dropped off the items at the warehouse, he sent some photos and videos of the furniture since I was not at the drop-off point. When I paid by Zelle, I was in a rush and accidentally paid the wrong amount (almost twice what was due). I did not even notice until the mover called to tell me I paid too much and sent the difference back. I was really impressed with his proactiveness and integrity. They ensured all my furniture was wrapped properly, didn't scratch my new hardwood floors or the walls, and stayed to make sure I could put my sheets on my mattress. All around great experience! I received a free quote online. The booking experience was seamless! They were very quick to respond. This was my first time hiring movers and they answered all my questions thoroughly. I was able to book through text and received email confirmation of the booking immediately after. They communicated their estimated arrival time the night before and the team was prompt and ready to work. The guys who did the move were great, really quick and professional. When comparing quotes, though, pay attention: this company charges the double drive time AFTER the minimum of 3 hours, even if you're below 3 hours without it (they didn't charge me because I pushed the issue, but my move took 2 hours including a 30-minute drive, rounded up to three hours, they wanted to add an extra 30 minutes added AFTER the minimum for double drive time). Plus they charge $45 for gas. Anyway, with this funny math, you might be equal with or even more than other companies. read more

They also had the most competitive rates compared to the other top moving companies in my area. The team of 4 arrived within the time frame and were very respectful and communicative throughout the entire move. They informed me of exactly when they began the clock for their services which was not until after they walked through my entire apartment and developed a plan for how the move would be conducted. This was a very nice touch as other moving companies begin their services the moment they arrive! They were extremely speedy considering I had hardly packed anything myself and they completely packed and loaded my entire apartment onto their truck in approximately 3 hours. Additionally, I had forgotten about an old IPhone and one of the movers handed it to me personally to make sure it did not get lost. They have cheaper rates than competitors but I think you get what you pay for. They move slow. We realized a box of our stuff was missing when we unpacked. I used this company in January 2022 and I forgot to leave a review. I have moved many times and this company by far gave me the best experience. The movers were respectful, responsive, quick, and efficient. They protected all my furniture, walls, and floors. I was very hesitant at first to use them because that the time they were a new company on Yelp and had no reviews. But I am really happy with the service I got. Most moving companies aren't as gentle but they handled my items with care and even helped me pack up last minute things. Most companies also move slow to try to milk the time and charge extra but they were so fast! And as parents who work from home, that is greatly appreciated so we could put our son down in his crib at his new home right away after the move. Johnny and Paul showed up and problem solved from the get go. We are moving out of our high rise in downtown LA today. I made the reservation for the service elevator in our building, but the front desk didn't say anything about getting parking permits from the City. Johnny gave me some options that would work and they were off to the races, figuring out the parking situation on their own. They were organized and worked in assembly line fashion to quickly move everything from both our apartment and storage units. Our stuff barely fit in the truck, but they moved things around like high-level Tetris experts to get get every last item in. Can't recommend these guys enough.
