I have just had my third set of SNS nails done by Tan. I love them and here is why:. There is no smell, they are new every time, they feel great, the colors wow there are so many, but the best reason they are totally dry when Tan is done. No UV light, no sitting with a fan, no waiting. I have had acrylic nails (solar for the past 8) for over 35 years. I will not go back. The salon is newly remodeled, clean and the techs are very good and friendly. There is a lot of laughter and hard work. You will not be disappointed. read more

I had a really odd experience here... I first thought it was weird because I came in to get a pedicure and the water was ice cold. I didn't say anything because I thought they might just be trying something new, but it didn't feel that good. After that happened, the man who was doing my pedicure asked if I had shellac on. I told him no, and he started filing my toe nail polish off with a nail filer he pulled out of his pocket. It was really concerning because it looked like it had been used previously. Afterwards, he got up to grab tin foil and I had to tell him again that I didn't have shellac on. That part was just a misunderstanding, but the nail filer really threw me off. Then, he pulled out a nail filing kit that you usually get, they cost about a dollar. He never explained to me if it was a dollar or two dollars, and never gave it to me at the end. I don't know if I was charged for it or not. After all of that, my heels are still really cracked and dry, so I'm a bit disappointed. read more

I went to this salon for the first time today. And all ladies know how hard it is to find a good nail technician and someone who cares about what you actually want your nails to look like. I was looking to get the dip nails done. The gentleman that did my nails did an amazing job. He was gentle with my nails (some people aren't) and he made sure I was happy with the ombré colors I picked. I will definitely be going back to this salon from now on. Great salon in an easily accessible location. It's recently remodeled, very open and comfortable. Tan, the shop's owner, provides a flawless SNS manicure. It lasts for three weeks, and has fortified my split and damaged nails. He's an extremely skilled technician, and also very creative. He's good about confirming my expectations, and suggests different ways to use the product. The salon is customer service oriented, very friendly. I have been going to their Salem salon for years, and absolutely love them! They are one of the first places that started doing the SNS nails (dipping powder ) in Salem. I'm so excited that they have opened up a second salon in Lake Oswego! I also appreciate how clean and health conscious they are. When they do a pedicure each person gets a new liner in the tub, that way you know that only your feet have been in that liner. Their prices are so fair and the staff is always welcoming. The owners keeps up to date on the new systems, trends, and are always getting new colors. As I've mentioned I've been going to their salon every few weeks for over 5 years now. Was looking for a place to take my soon to be sister in law to get our nails done. Reviews and picture online looked good so we took a chance. So wish I would have chosen the other place we had looked at on yelp. The woman my soon to be sister in law got was really good. She took her time, very detailed, and most importantly she listened. My lady on the other hand was none of that! When I asked her for what my soon to be sister in law was getting she told me that she could do it. The length and shape of my nails do not match. She cut me with the drill. And when all was said and done, she left nail polish, shavings, and there are chips missing in the French tips had chipping in them cause she used the file after wards. They looked like a hot mess. When i asked the other lady to help fix it, my lady came back and acted as if this was a huge inconvenience. When she fixed some of it she asked "is this what you wanted ?" With such an aditude! For $65 I expected a lot more! read more
