My experience inside the salon was not bad, they were friendly and were helpful. However I got dip nails with gel French. The French themselves were messy and they started chipping 1 day after I had gotten them done. Now a week later they have all peeled off. Gel should be lasting at least 2 weeks. They were rushing towards the end of my nails in order to finish them and I believe that is what lead them to chipping so fast due the lack of a patient paint job. Also their prices drastically vary my dip itself was 65 and the gel was 15 my nails were definitely not the 80 dollars. read more

Zen nail lounge popped up on my explore page on instagram. I looked at their work and really liked what I saw with the lash extensions so I booked an appointment. When I got a full set, I first had Lillian and she was great and really nice. My lashes came out great. I went back two weeks later for a fill and she was gone and there was a new tech named Brenda. Not as friendly as Lilian but she did a great job on my lashes. I booked my appointment for my two week fill. I literally got a call the day before my appointment and was told that Brenda was on vacation and I would have to reschedule. I was upset. I had a birthday party to go to and my lashes needed a filll. No big deal I rescheduled my appointment. Again I received a text the day before about the lash tech not being in so I rescheduled again. At this point my lashes was looking crazy. Had lashes barely hanging on. Now I had an appointment set for Thursday. I called the day before to confirm. A guy picked up the phone and said oh can I call you back in five minutes. Hours went by and he never called. So I cancelled. My complaint is not about the staff. They are nice. Or the service because the outcome was really good. My complaints about the multiple rescheduling. Why offer a service if you can't keep a lash tech. Thankfully I found someone to remove the set I have and give me a fresh set of lashes but I was definitely disappointed with zen nail lounge. I will never go back for my lashes. My wife had a horrible experience here recently. The nail tech that was working on her nails seemed very incompetent, inexperienced, and failed to say that she couldn't do the desired design. Be warned if you decided to go to this nail shop if you aren't wanting basic or simplistic designs. When bringing the dissatisfaction of the nails to the manager's attention he said that he couldn't offer a refund but within their policy it says that the deposit is the only thing non refundable. Just looking at the nails you can tell some are crooked, the diamonds weren't centered, there was soo much glue behind the flowers that were applied it looked like it was lifting, the nails on the same fingers were different lengths, and they weren't even sanded correctly. My wife came home crying from the whole experience but was too afraid to say anything because she isn't very confrontational. They charged my wife $180 dollars for some really bad nails from a below average nail technician. Almost seems like they will purposely do bad job to scam people out of their money. Came in for a medium French tip. Mimi was the person to do my nails today. I am very specific about the shape (showed a picture) and I feel like she didn't take what I want to account. She ended up using a wider form for the tip and that was already a red flag to me that this French tip wouldn't be what I expected. She filed it down... but it still wasn't to my liking. Too late to go back so I just let her to her thing. She offered dip and I personally didn't really like the color. I brought another color to compensate for the base... but Mimi put the coat on too thick. I had better French tips in the past and if I could rate this... I rate it 6/10. I also feel the shape could've been perfected more. I think Mimi is good if you want the vibe of a beauty salon, but if you're looking for more technical work.... She was mid. She even hurt me while filing!!! And did I mention she used the same files and drills I'm assuming she used for other people without cleaning it? Yikes. $77 for pain, mid effort work, and dirty tools? Pretty disappointed and will not return. read more

WOW such a disappointment..Came here because of all the great reviews but I think these reviews are done because the manager begs for reviews I saw him perusing some ladies to write a review so don't be fooled. Came here on 6/13/24 for gel manicure here 3 days later it chipped 6/15/24 so I called and they said to go in which I did. The guy in the front not sure his name told me he will do it and asked my what color so I told him and he laughed and said there so many colors i need the number luckily a very nice lady with glasses knew what NUMBER the name of the color I said she is so good! But the guy on the other hand was just rude. He then "fixed" my nail when all he did was put top coat on top. Which is ok but the fact that now 6/16/24 two days later that top coat he added fell off. Really really disappointed will NEVER come back. Yeah they treat you nice in the beginning with complimentary drinks but i rather them do a good job and not be rude , that goes a longer way than a "free" beverage. read more

Very nice nail salon but this is the 4th time I've come and felt a bit ripped off. I always call and make an appointment. Even though I've had appointments booked, each time I've waited a min of 30 min after my appt time to be seen.. that's just in the front.. then I'll be waiting another 15-20 at the station or in the pedicure chair. The last two times I've gotten a pedicure here it felt very rushed. Yesterday I came in for a pedicure. They only have 3 options. The option I picked was the express with the callus remover add on, gel polish add on, and and extra 5min massage. The pedicure already comes with a 5 min massage, so the ADD ON would be 5 more min, totaling 10 min. The lady doing my feet gave me a 4 min massage TOTAL. 4:31-4:35. I just figured she forgot I wanted an extra 5 min, so I just let it go as I was already annoyed that this happened again. When I got to the counter, my total was $54. $29 for the pedicure, $15 gel polish, $5 callus remover, and $5 extra massage. I let the girl at the front know that I didn't receive EXTRA massage and let her know I wouldn't be paying for it. It would be nice if they used timers when doing your massage like other places do, so you now you're getting the services you're paying for. If this was a one off thing, then ok. But this has been more than once. So seemed to forget to give me the extra 5 min massage, but sure didn't forget to charge me... read more

I had an appointment with my daughter. I got a full ombré set and pedicure and my daughter got the kids mani and pedi. We ended up there for 3 hours. I was disappointed on how long we ended up staying there considering we had an appointment. I had asked for a 5 min massage for my daughter and they didn't do it. Had to ask Mimi who did my nails if she can do it after she was done with me. I never been charged extra to get rounded nails before, not sure if that's standard but my normal nail tech doesn't charge for the shape. I just felt like maybe we were better off being a walk in as opposed to having an appointment. Check in was awkward, she wanted me to circle all the services I wanted so it was a lot of flipping the paper back and forth looking for what my daughter wanted done and what I wanted done, but the nail techs ending up writing everything they did at the end so it just felt like a waste of time. I recently moved to the area and looked on Yelp for a salon. The reviews are true and this salon is amazing! They offer drinks during your services, and the salon is very spacious and roomy. I felt very taken care of and loved the energy of the staff there. I also appreciate the check in system! Jayden did my hands and Hayley did my toes. They were both so so sweet and attentive, making sure I was comfortable and knew how to work the massage chair. Staff was friendly and I had a great experience with my pedicure but their nail work was not good. Two crooked nails on my fingers from gel-x and she went on to tell me it's because my nails were crooked. It's never been a problem anywhere else. Had to fix them but still not done well. **If I could I would give this place 0 stars but for yelp i have to add something** I went in yesterday and was greeted and seated very quickly. I asked for a full set. I asked for coffin and French tip. The technician i got was very rough. He has a bunch of tattoos and wears Harley Davidson. He applied so much powder on my nails and I thought it was too bulky and asked him about it and his response was "its ok, its a process. it will look better at the end". I felt like the skin on my pinky was burning and he said dont touch, its still wet. I then told him I'm sorry but its really burning and he didn't even do anything about it. Then I asked him if he can check the length of my nails because I saw some were shorter than others and again he said "it's a process". When he was filing down my nails he was rough and he cut me one 4 different fingers. He was wearing gloves while filing my nails and when he finished he took one off and his sweat from his glove splashed on my arm. It was so disgusting. I was so ready to walk out at that point. He then asked me what kind of French tip I wanted because it was going to be $15-$20 more. I was shocked. When I was going to pay, Leon at the counter asked me how my visit went. He noticed I wasn't happy, and I told him how it all went and the fact that I had so many cuts. He gave me a really dry "sorry" and proceeded to charge me anyway. He rang me up and said it was $75 and since I was going to use card it was going to be $77. I had to be the one to ask him about their discount they are offering. I was frustrated because he didn't show that he cared even if it was "fake". As i was about to walk out, he gives me a 30% off discount for my next visit. I told him what makes you think I want to come back? and kept walking out. I felt as if the 30% should of been applied at that moment. I was here for 2 hours for something so simple. I came to get my nails done to relax and majority of the time I was in pain and frustrated. I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe they need more training on doing nails and customer service. read more
