I will say that while the bbq sauce was said to be "chipotle bbq", it just tasted like normal bbq sauce to me. The sweet potato fries lacked flavor just slightly but with some salt were great! Nothing like traveling to Jackson and finding a legit great burger. My love for a good burger runs deep. We ordered 5 different burgers so let me break them down for you. Wild West - cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, chipotle bbq sauce, pickles, onion. This was our favorite burger, I'm not a huge fan of bbq on a burger, but it was light and gave it the perfect kick. It was so good. The meat was perfectly cooked. The buns are soft and pilllowy, but holds together so nicely. The livery burger with bison, delicious. I added mushrooms and grilled onions. My only complaint was that there was barely any mushrooms or onions, very skimpy. The double liberty burger, this would have been killer if the Patties weren't over cooked, they were too well done. The baby Bella, great, just needs more mushrooms. We tried regular fries (good), onion rings (pretty good), and the sweet potato fries (our favorite). Weird experience. Seems like it would be hard to make a burger and fries bad these days, especially since it's the most common cuisine the country. Even if you use frozen meat, a simple google search could have provided a basic understanding of how to make a consistently good burger. I suck at cooking/grilling, but following a recipe/method I found on a food blog, my burgers turn out a lot better than this place. Mediocre burgers along with the sticky menus and poor service, nets this place 2 stars. The fried jalapenos were alright. Located in the very popular downtown area of Jackson, WY. The parking is limited, but we found a parking lot just a few blocks away. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. The restaurant itself have a good vibe to it. Two stories with big open windows at the front. We were seated upstairs on the outside balcony. Turned out to be a great place for us - while you are in a line, there are great views of the streets of Jackson. The menu has a long list of burgers and sandwiches from which to pick. We opted for "The Nooner" and "Woodstock". We added some "Sidewinders" as well. The "Sidewinders" (french fries) were hot, crispy, and covered with cheese and bacon. They were really good. Plenty for 2 people to share. "The Nooner" is a really good take on a breakfast burger. Beef patty topped with a hashbrowns, ham, and an egg. Really good! "Woodstock" is a veggie burger that doesn't try to be a mock beef patty. Very much a patty made from vegetables. Asked the front desk guy where to eat. It was a few miles from where I was staying so walking was out of the question, I did however find parking right in from of the restaurant.. because I know how to parallel park. Walking in there was a long line and the people in front of me got a quoted time of about 30-45 mins. The space is not very big, with a large communal table in the middle of the restaurant to maximize seating. I, being a loner (it has its perks) got seated right away. I was seated at a bar type seat long the front windows. The weather was nice so the windows were open making it feel roomy. I got the Chicken cherry bomb ( the burger/sandwich of the month). When asked how spicy it is, the waiter said "it's pretty spicy." GREAT I IWLL TAKE IT! When he said it is spicy.. it is spicy. I had to wipe my nose after only 2 bites. My new friend/ seat mate let me try his fries.. should have got my own they were good. Got a huckleberry milkshake to go while I was walking around the town square. It was also really good. I ordered the Napa Burger, which I thought was a solid burger. My wife ordered a sandwich she was not too big a fan of, and we shared some sweet potato fries and the sidewinders. The service we experienced was solid. From the hostess to the server, everyone was very friendly. We were some of the first people through the door, and the service we experienced was a major positive. We sat on the second floor per the recommendation of the hostess. It was a great view, and if you need the bathroom, they have one on the second floor. The reason I couldn't give Liberty Burger a higher rating is the price. Yes, everything in Jackhole is overpriced, but if I pay $13 for a burger, I hope it knocks my socks off. I am not sure about parking as we walked from our hotel. The other times we drove into the downtown area, we were able to find free street parking. Liberty Burger is just off Broadway; from the looks of it, parking should be available with not too much of a walk. read more
