After speaking with them multiple times with various questions, I was left with a feeling of assurance that I was in good hands. Being a first time landlord, I have no experience in knowing how to screen tenants, knowing the rules, etc., especially when my background is not in the real estate and rental business. Having a busy work schedule also means that I won't likely be able to attend to the tenant's needs in a timely manner. This is where Good Life fills in the gaps for me. The team at Good Life during the onboarding process has been super helpful and efficient in getting the property ready, whereas it would've taken me ages in trying to do it myself. I was assigned Andrei as my property manager and it's been a great start. He has been open, transparent, professional, and great to work with since the start. I recently had an online shopping shipment mis-delivered to my rental property, to which Andrei was instrumental in helping to coordinate the handoff between the tenant and me. If there are issues or updates, they email, text, and/or send info via owner web portal. Savannah has been our point of contact at Good Life. She is the best! Very friendly and always follows up with our questions/requests. We've had a few repairs that our tenants needed. Chi (Maintenance coordinator) handled them smoothly and kept me informed. Again, great communication. Love the financial summary (and receipt) at end of year for our tax accountant. Documents are nicely arranged on the owner web portal. Love it. And...always like Steve's informative emails and YT videos on regulations and tips.

I had already put down $300,000 and owned another home that was fully paid off and worth about $550,000. Yet the broker told me I needed to put down $600,000 to buy a home priced at $850,000 . After that, I went to another broker and got pre-approved almost immediately. I qualified for the home without any problems. All I can say is that they were not very professional. In my opinion, Simon seemed focused only on money. I felt that he was trying to earn commissions from both sides. When I decided not to use his broker, my offer was not accepted, and I was told that another offer had been accepted instead. That was my experience, and it left me feeling that my interests were not the priority.

We expected a small portion of the deposit to be kept due to this but not 24 hours worth of work. Definitely a scam! If you stand on business and can prove very well that the three workers spent 8 hours in our unit, then why are you declining to show the surveillance footage that you know you have?
