WOW!!! Replaced Transmission in 1 day!!! I called around to find a good deal for replacing/rebuilding my truck's transmission, so I had a pretty good idea of turnaround times and prices, plus I'm shadetree mechanic. Called Liberty, spoke with Eric, and since he had my transmission in stock, he asked me if I could bring it in that same day, and he said it could be done within hours! (Didn't really believe that). I couldn't make it then, so I arranged early drop off next day. Dropped off in the am, and in the afternoon I get a call to let me know about other findings (rear main seal, one tranny mount, shifter cable) and that the truck will be ready for pickup around 4PM. WHAT??? I've NEVER, in over my 50 years of life and dozens of cars, had a shop give me these kind of timelines, and no BS. So again, I had to arrange getting there in time to pick up my truck, and drive off into the sunset, with a smooth, nice smelling, running/shifting, all gears 4L60E. My life was hardly affected, no need for rentals, ubers, missing work, grief, etc... Eric was all business, matter of fact, courteous, and gave me an UNBEATABLE deal and warranty, by MILES... It's just peace of mind that you hardly ever get from auto-shops, and honestly, you don't even get at times when you pay top $$$. I work on my cars, I've done engine/transmissions swaps, and I know the work that goes into it. This was a no brainer, my total cost was less than just a rebuilt unit from other shops! I still can't believe how these guys make it look easy, no doubt they're masters of their trade. So if you have any needs with your transmission, look no further. Paid a 500$ cash deposit when I dropped my car off February Thursday the 13th was supposed to get it back that following Tuesday the 17th when I called to come pick it up I was told that it wasn't ready it will be done in a couple of days, when I called back a couple days later I kept getting the run around for 2 MONTHS every time you call the owner who was supposed to work on it himself would say "3 more days" "I'm just working on the small stuff now" "I'll get it to you this weekend " I literally heard that one every Friday I would call and drive all the way out from BAY AREA just for him to say "2 more days" and when I finally went to go pick up my car APRIL 11th nothing on my car was fixed That was supposed to be done!!! Only 1 thing on my car was fixed, I was charged for something that was not broke and when I asked for some of my money back they started charging me with all these fees I never heard of just to shut me up. Heard of this shop from a friend who has had several transmissions rebuilt by them. I have a Honda Odyssey that had a bad transmission. Decided to try this shop. They did great even stayed late to finish it so I wasn't waiting all weekend for my transmission. Car drives great now hopefully for a while too! Only bad thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is they forgot to give me two of my banjo bolts I had on my transmission cooler lines. I had to go to the junkyard to grab some. Came down from Oroville to buy a transmission for my car from them they said they had one in stock drove all the way down there and surprise they didn't have the transmission, they tell us to come back the next day and surprise again it's not ready. This shop is amazing, I broke down near Roseville, on my way back to Vegas and transmissions went out, I called and the manager said he would towed my car in and check it out for free, after checking surly my transmission was gone, I had to get back due to work and was in need of this being a quick fix, The guys there were amazing, they removed my transmission and rebuilt it in 2 days. The next day they called said I could come get it. He gave me really great price and warranty for 2 years. I was on my way back to Vegas and I floated all the way, Really good job guys Thanks again.
