We were so impressed with Devin's design skills (including clear scaled digitized plans) and experience that we hired him on the spot. Plus Flawless's pricing was lower than other quotes we got. Icing on the cake. Then the pandemic hit so the job was delayed (NY orders), but Flawless came through after re-opening and did a superb job for us. The new driveway is both beautiful and functional, even our crabby neighbors like it! It was a big job but Flawless's skilled and friendly crew managed to finish in a week. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a huge letdown. Each time the crew came to install, something went wrong -- cracked quartzite, poorly cut cabinets (for a sink we ordered directly from them), and rough, visible seams. Despite sharing a detailed list of concerns, the owner never returned as promised. Instead, he sent different crews each time, none of whom corrected the issues. The craftsmanship was sloppy, the crews were careless, and my elderly parents were treated as if they were a nuisance. The final straw was when they failed to properly measure for the cooktop, leaving my 83-year-old father to figure out how to reinstall it himself. What started as a hopeful project turned into a stressful, frustrating mess. We chose Great Rock because the owner seemed committed and involved -- but after the first day, we never saw him again. Sadly, I cannot recommend this company. They did not deliver on their promises, their work was subpar, and their treatment of my aging parents was deeply disappointing.

We, unfortunately, dealt with Joe for our basic 60" vanity top. It was a complete disaster from…read morestart to finish. Workmanship and especially customer service are completely lacking. We will most definitely be looking elsewhere for the rest of renovations. This was our awful experience: It took a week for Joe to get a hold of the template guy to schedule an appointment for which he never showed up. Joe, of course, did not take the blame or apologize for the no show. When the measurements were finally taken we were told by Joe that it would be less than 2 weeks to fabricate. Four weeks later and after countless unanswered messages from Joe, we finally got the word our counter was ready (by calling ourselves- don't expect them to do their job). We scheduled the install and they showed up without the back splash because, according to the installer, they broke it while cutting (when we asked Joe why we were told it was all done if it had broke while cutting he changed his story saying it broke while loading onto the truck). We were underwhelmed with the product and installation. There was a large gap left between the wall and counter top. We complained & Joe said the side splash (which we did NOT want or order, but apparently paid for) would cover it- we had no choice but to use the side splash at this point. We just got the back splash and side splash installed and they are too short for the counter top. I expected everything to be perfect considering it took a month for a 60" vanity top. Precision is important in this industry, but apparently not to Gem. The polish on the stone is not good, the measurements taken were not correct and Joe was an absolute horror to deal with. They take no responsibility for their mistakes and they did not reduce the price for our troubles and the poor quality of their stone or offer us a corrected back splash for their measuring error. Save yourself a lot of stress, wasted time and money... go elsewhere.

Brian came and did all the pre-work for measurements and ordering and was very flexible with installation timeline, as we were scheduling install before our move into the home. Brian had great communication in the lead up to the install, including ensuring delivery & acclimation of flooring materials. His team showed up right on time, communicated exactly what they were going to do and completed the job quickly & efficiently. It took nearly 3 full days to complete the job, but all the while they showed me progress, explained how to care for the floor, and even came back a few weeks later to add additional trim for the stairway leading up, to match the newly installed trim. Brian communicated prior to, during, and after installation to ensure we were happy with our floors and service. The entire team was friendly and did a great job on our project, we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for flooring install or other construction related projects. Thanks!
