Eggs over easy bacon home fries sourdough and pancakes

We ended up going 3 times on vacation for breakfast. Couldn't beat it. Everything was very good. Price was very reasonable. Great staff.

Spinach bacon tomato onion cheddar omelette

We always make it a point at coming to the Lighthouse Cafe when in Cape Cod. Very good food and service and fresh made muffins to die for. The character of the place is very old school New England and they top it off by being cash only. In the past I've had their homemade hash and eggs but today I'm going with a bacon, spinach, Tomatoe, onion, and cheddar omelette. As expected the omelette and home fries were perfect, perfectly cooked and just the right mix of sweet and savory. We look forward to more breakfasts at the Lighthouse Cafe.

Eggs Benny sooo good. Very thick bacon.

Very friendly staff, make you feel right at home. There were a lot of locals and regulars there which always is a good sign that the food is going to be delicious...... Which it was. I had the regular eggs. Benedict and my husband had the sausage eggs Benedict, which were both on the specials menu. Sooo good. They need to be on the regular menu!

OE eggs, crispy potatoes, linguica, Italian sausage & ham. Best rye bread!

One of the best breakfasts anywhere! Perfectly cooked eggs! And service friendly and not overbearing!

My sister and I decided to come here for brunch, and it's a nice mom and pop diner shop. You walk in and get to sit yourself. I built my own omelette which came with home fries and toast. Food was great, the home fries were so delicious! They take cash only but there's an ATM inside.

Had the homemade corned beef, eggs, sourdough toast, home fries, and tried the lemon poppy and cranberry orange muffin grilled. The food, in short, was amazing and exactly what I look for in a diner. Kind people work here. Cash only, but there is an ATM on site. You walk inside and put your name on a list if there's a wait.

Been coming here for years. Never again. Called this morning for takeout, got the message "welcome to Verizon Wireless, your call can not be completed as dialed, as the called party is busy." Tried several times over 30 minutes (and again just now as writing this review). So they have their phone off the hook. I drive over to order takeout in person, which I've done before. I walk in and here's the conversation I have with the manager: Me: Hi I'd like to order the Breakfast Melt (which is a really great breakfast sandwich) to go. Manager: Sorry we don't do takeout. Me: I'm confused. I've ordered takeout here for years. Manager: Sorry. Me: Well, I tried calling you several times and your phone isn't working. Since I drove all the way over here, do you think you could make an exception? Manager: No. Sorry. You know how sometimes people say "sorry" but you can tell they don't mean it? That. Note that here on Yelp, and on Google, and even *on their own website* it says they do takeout. As I walk out, the sign in the window says to call "to place your order." See photos. Place wasn't especially busy - no line - season on Cape ended last week. One breakfast sandwich was too much to ask. She made it clear she didn't need my business. Wish granted.

    Tuna melt

This is a local cafe that we stopped in for lunch while on the Cape. The menu appeared to offer many specials and we took advantage of two. My date had the tuna melt sandwich on marbled rye and a side of cole slaw. He often gets tuna melt and really liked this one. I had the 1/2 order of pot roast sandwich, only without bread and cole slaw on the side. The pot roast was such great comfort food and cooked to perfection. Sometimes pot roast can be tough but it was so tender. The place was decorated in a beachy theme and so cute.

    Ham and cheese omelette

We stumbled across Lighthouse Cafe on our walk this morning and left having experienced one of the best breakfasts ever. We walked in and sat at a blue checkered table right by the window and admired the homey and warm atmosphere. The service was impeccable - our waitress couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. The omelet was perfectly fluffy and satisfying with every bite, breakfast potatoes crispy and decadent, and sourdough bread ideally toasted and buttered. If you're looking for a classic diner with great food, kind people, and modest prices, I would absolutely recommend popping in to the Lighthouse Cafe.

I was hovering between 3 and 4 stars... of course I am going to round up!…read more Harwich Port desperately needed a cute coffee shop and Roots checks that box. It's more than a coffee shop though, they have basic dry goods, snacks, and sandwich bar. The service is just ok. The servers are working hard, but not so friendly. I know weekends especially bring a big wave of customers and it's a lot to keep up with. The coffee is ok, not great. Both times I got an iced flat white (ice latte with less milk) and the ratio was great. The only difference between the small and large iced latte is more milk, not more espresso. Baked good look very good, breakfast sandwich is just ok. Very simple, premade, warm English muffin with egg, cheese, and sausage/bacon. Their muffins are very good and they usually have an assortment of GF pastries. Nice place to stop in if you're in Harwich Port.

They were out of two different breads at 1:30 p.m. I ordered a sandwich on toasted bread. It came on untoasted, soggy bread. A simple request ... I even pointed out another sandwich when ordering 'just like that'. The cold cuts were nothing special. Cut a little too thick ... real good delis slice thin and pile on the bread. This was 3 thicker pieces of meat ... bland. No spices. The guacamole was an absolute joke. It was literally a green stain on the bread. It wasn't guacamole. It was literally like green paint. I've never seen anything like this before. I have had sandwiches with a thicker layer of mustard than this 'guacamole'. The bacon was a little rubbery and not crisp. Tasted like pre-packaged bacon. The bread was bland ... cold cuts were bland ... the only part of the sandwich which had flavour was the very spicy mayo. If you don't like hot things ... be prepared. It had a very hot pepper taste. I was surprised as that's not how the sandwich was described on the board. The store itself was staffed with tons of college kids. Attention to detail/perfection was not their forte. Nor was friendliness. The bar in the back was unstaffed i asked how to get a drink and they said you could order one. Tough to do with no bartender. I will skip this place if back in Harwichport.
