Beautiful. We had a coupon for a round at Lighthouse. So why not use it on a day when a tropical storm is coming to Ocean City. This course is right on the sound and it beautifully laid out. The wind was manageable until, we played holes 3-6. The gusts were 30-40 mph. The ball either dropped or got caught in the wind and sent it into the sound. The turn on this course is after the 7th hole because you have to backtrack on 8 to go under the tunnel to get to 9 and the 1500ft cart bridge over the sound. The back nine is more protected, so the golf was better for our group. This course is very challenging and there is a lot of opportunity to lose balls. The 18th is really nice with the green up on a plateau with beautiful views of OC. I enjoyed the round but I look forward to playing again on a less breezy day.

Presentation of crab soup was poor but it was a solid choice. Red snapper was cooked very well and had great flavor. The skin was left on which wasn't ideal. Drink was very good. Overall good experience here, would recommend

This restaurant!!!!! Ten years ago my Husband and I walked in this restaurant and fell in love. The ambiance, the service, the food and The View!!! We decided this was the place for us to get married!!! Our family and friends still rave about our wedding experience. We decided to visit recently to celebrate our anniversary and nothing has change! The view, ambiance, food and service was still great. They went above and beyond to make us feel special. I enjoyed every minute of our visit.

They were setting up for a reception so it seemed confusing that the restaurant was open, we had a reservation but aimlessly wandered around to find someone to seat us. The view was wonderful although is was quiet for 5 minutes when a group of chatty guys sat behind us. We ordered the crab dip appetizer and it took a long time to arrive and the bread to dip ratio was alittle disproportioned, we ran out of bread, the dip was good. I got the crab cake sandwich and onion rings and they were tasty. The chairs they have outside are the Adirondack style and made eating a tad awkward. Still nice scenery.

My wife and I went for dinner last night and absolutely loved the place. Food, service, ambiance were all excellent. For apps we had the Lighthouse shrimp and mussels - both flavored very well. Dinner I had one of their specials (steak and crab cake) and my wife got the pork chop. Neither disappointed. Dessert we got the key lime pie and Lemon Berry. Both get very good. I think the price was more than reasonable considering everything we got. Everything was amazing. Quality of food was very good. Our waiter Andrew was very good. I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone.

I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.

I'll give the restaurant a 4 star review for the sauces and food combinations. The fish and pork chops were an excellent choice for my guests. Unfortunately I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. I didn't send it back which would have ruined the mood of the dinner, but the pork chop took 25 minutes to prepare. The flank steak came out luke warm and was not at all tender. It would have been better medium or medium well as it was a bit rubbery. The server should have warned me when she indicated to my guest that she preferred the pork chop. She was a bit abrupt and talked too fast. The Parker house rolls were a bit dry, not warm and tough. I'm from Baltimore and Parker house rolls are should be warm, soft with a lovely aroma and melt in your mouth. The honey butter helped but not enough. We ordered the strawberry short cake for dessert. The presentation was lovely and the strawberries fresh and sweet, but the short cake was dry. It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.
