For Ben's birthday morning while we're on vacation, I normally go and try to find him donuts of some sort or maybe even multiple shops. Luckily for me , close to our hotel were two different shops. While I was there, it was called the mini donut company. It looks like they have had a name change. It was within a market place but given the early hours it was the only thing open. I loved it that they had so many different variations of donut types and flavors to choose from. It was a difficult choice to make for sure. I got a variety of them to try, knowing that these small donuts are more my speed. Once I got back to the hotel with the other goodies and Ben was awake, he had plenty to choose from and enjoyed each that he had.

Highly recommend a visit. Not your traditional donut shop. The owner, Alejandra is a gem. She is so personable and will tell you about her business and the flavors etc. She provides samples so you know exactly what the flavors taste like. The donut itself is a cake donut no substitution but it's the topping that makes it fun. We tried: Cinnamon Roll Butter Beer Batter Fruity Pebblrs Vampire Kiss Barbie Churro Berry The best part of this piece of heaven were the truffles. Highly suggest trying. We ordered 4 flavors and each one was light and moist. They were so good. This hidden gem is found in Pine Street Market. Grab a box and enjoy

Great little spot out of the cold in the Pine Street Market. Only wish they had other milks besides whole milk for the lattes. Donuts were cute and tasted like the little Hostess donuts we used to eat as kids. Latte was sweet...

Super fun! Donuts aren't like classic donuts, they are way more cake than a normal donut but still delicious. I highly recommend any flavor but especially the fruity pebble! I've visited this company once at the Saturday Market in Portland and once at their store and both times they were super friendly and helpful. Great branding as well!

We ordered off Too Good To Go so they were a day old so we weren't expecting much and some flavors were way too sweet but the fruity pebbles were surprisingly the best ones we tried and not overwhelmingly sweet (though cereal was stale, as expected). They're very small and cute though!

Perfect size donuts! I can never eat a full size donut, it's usually too sweet for my liking. But these little donuts were great and everyone liked them. I also ordered pistachio matcha but it was way too sweet for me. But if you like sweet drinks then you'll love it! I can't comment on the physical establishment as I ordered via DoorDash. However, the service was quick, they packaged them well, and everything tasted fresh.

The matcha is a crime. Just so bad. I'm actually kind of upset I spent money and received a light brown drink. Tasted so bad. Donuts were yummy of course but if you're not going to have matcha take it off the menu this was misleading and probably the worst matcha latte I've ever been served.

Date: Friday, February 28th, 2025 Time: around 3pm Assorted 6-Pack ($5.99) *Lemon *Raspberry *Churro *Vanilla Sprinkles *Strawberry & Vanilla Drizzle *Pumpkin Pie I adore donuts. When I saw mini donut company, I thought why not give them a try? I'm not into chocolate, nuts, or cereal, so I stuck to the basic or fruit flavors. The lemon and raspberry were my fav. Not too sweet, tho I wish the lemon was a little more tart. These are cake doughnuts, so not fluffy like raised ones. I kinda wanted them to be less dense. Since the flavors weren't too prominent when eating, they all ended up kinda tasting the same after a while. A good way to try a variety of flavors if you like cake donuts. REVIEW #3721

These donuts were super yummy and so cute! Perfect size for when you want a lil something sweet after lunch/dinner!

11/2025 Rolled up for our second time here at Pine Street Market to grab some Lil Donuts. Today my plus one and I got a dozen: horchata (crumble top), pistachio (green), apple cider (1/2 dusted), maple (drizzle), and honeycomb (yellow) Super moist and flavorful cake donuts! I prefer the truly flavored ones like maple, honeycomb, apple cider (our fav!), and pistachio (my all time personal favorite . The pistachio matcha latte was super sweet and I probably won't be getting that again. If it was watered down and included some ice it would've been great, but it was just a little too thick and sweet for my personal taste and I'm usually a hummingbird person that gravitates towards SWEET sweets. Excellent flavored cake donuts! Very moist. I didn't care for the Cookie Monster or plan glazed as they just lack the OOMPF that the flavors like apple cider bring. I'd knock back a star of if I didn't know to stay away from the basic flavors - although if you're an old school cinnamon sugar cake donut aficionado, try the freakin churro. It's delightful and just what you've been craving.

    Pistachio matcha latte :(

These lil' funky donuts were in fact a lil' funky. They're super cute but mid. They tasted a bit artificial. The fruity pebble one was delicious though. Their pistachio matcha latte was foul...not sure if they added matcha.

They have lots of different icings for their tiny donuts here. I only saw one basic type of donut. If you want a cruller, cake or old fashioned donut you won't find it here. They have a streamlined operation here. The fun is in all the colorful frostings. They had Christmas options when we visited. The prices were fair, I thought. How did those little minis taste? They were just fine. Nothing special. With all the amazing donut shops in Portland, you can do so much better if you want a great donut. If you happen to be at Pine St. Market and want a little something something after your meal, go for it. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way. My husband and I tried 3 different businesses at PSM and were disappointed with all 3. Portland has such good food. I have no desire to spend money for meh.

I like the lemon flavored one. The kids like all of them. Great for a party. The variety is great and I think I have a chai one I like too

They're known for creative flavors, but creative does not mean it tastes good. The famous Blueberry Bourbon Basil donut was so doughy and cakey (hard type), blueberry jam was too sweet and completely overpowered the subtle taste of bourbon and basil. The apple fritter was the same, just sweet, doughy, and nothing special. We also tried the Cointreau Crème Brûlée, it is a custard donut comes with an orange liqueur pipette. Because the blueberry donut completely lack of bourbon taste, we actually used that pipette to squeeze the liqueur into the blueberry donut. We had the coffee, they're just average, nothing special. Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. Good chocolate donut all around. 5 stars Pool Boi - loved the creativity with the little gummy bear in the sour gummy ring and the blue raspberry flavor was on point! 5 stars. Passionfruit curd - fantastic tart curd with a classic mochi donut. Yum. 5 stars. Key lime pie - perfect tartness that worked well with the sweetness of everything. 5 stars. Cocoa pebbles - excellent chocolate donut! Could had used more cocoa pebbles. They need to have more chocolate specials! 5 stars. Horchata pudding - lovely cinnamony donut with a tasty horchata pudding. 5 stars. Ube - I wish the Ube flavor was in the donut too. Perhaps the Ube flavor could had been stronger in the glaze? 4.5 stars. Orange cardamom - subtle cardamom flavor but overall tasty donut. Not especially noteworthy flavor. 4.5 stars. Black sesame and jam - I usually love black sesame, but the combination with the jam was not my favorite. It's probably personal preference, but next time I'm going to ask for it without it. 4.5 stars. Strawberries and cream - compared to the strawberry yuzu, this one was a little underwhelming. Adding fresh strawberries with the cream would had been the way to go. 4.5 stars. Guava cheesecake - the Guava flavor was overpowered by the graham cracker flavor on this one. I think a straight Guava one would be amazing. 4 stars. Compared to pon de ring and more traditional mochi donuts, these had more donut characteristics and were much sweeter and less chewy. So glad we discovered this place!
