Eh, I was expecting more of a wow factor. The donut designs are cool and unique, but the taste and quality were just okay. The outdoor mural was cool, too. The store was empty when we arrived, and there was plenty of parking at this location.

Great selections of doughnuts. Vibrant colors. Crazy designs. Definitely will catch your eyes. Cool flavors. I usually stick with my chocolate theme. Very sweet. I could not finish 1 in one sitting. The staff was nice and quick. The store is clean. Parking lot on site. Very convenient.

This shop got IG famous because of their unique donuts. There are donuts with names like Diablos Rex, Voodoo Doll, Raspberry Romeo, Mango Tango, Old dirty bastard, Marshall Mathers, sprinkle cake, strawberry go-tart and so many more. All of them have unique color, toppings and look. Such exciting collection for donut lovers. The store itself is huge, with pink themed surroundings. The rotating displays are by tue register. There are several merchandise displays spread around the store. They also sell some beverages like coffee, tea, can and bottled drinks. There was no place to eat inside the store, but outside they had few benches. We ordered three donuts to go. The friendly staff member packed out donuts on the spot in a beautiful pink box. I liked the taste of the Portland Cream. It was soft and filled with lots of cream. My daughter loved the Marshall Mathers cause it had tons of M&Ms on top. Highly recommend their donuts to anyone visiting Portland.

Voodoo was fine- but that's coming from someone that isn't donut crazed. I I can see why it's viewed as a place for tourists to visit. It's visually appearing and the theme of voodoo and tongue in cheek James of donuts is fun. I had two donuts the buttermilk glazed doughnut was nice and simplistic and tasted fresh. I also had the cheesecake churro doughnut, which was way too sweet- I didn't finish it. All in all if you wanna try it out, I guess it's worth it, but I wouldn't necessarily return. I got it out of my system.

Voodoo Doughnut while in Portland and honestly, it's one of those places you kind of have to experience at least once. The shop itself has a chaotic, quirky energy that fits Portland perfectly colorful boxes, unique donut names, loud music, and people excitedly trying to decide what to order. The selection is definitely what makes this place stand out. So many creative flavors and over the top toppings that it almost feels more like a dessert shop than a traditional donut spot. Some donuts were surprisingly good, while others felt more fun and novelty-based than something I'd crave regularly. Portions are huge and very sweet, so sharing a few different flavors is probably the move. What I appreciated most was the overall experience and atmosphere. Staff moved quickly despite the constant crowd, and even with the long line, things flowed pretty efficiently. It's very touristy, but in a fun way that still feels worth checking out at least once. My daughter especially loved picking out the colorful donuts, and honestly seeing her excitement probably made the visit even better. Definitely one of those places where half the fun is just looking at all the crazy creations before ordering. Would I say these are the absolute best donuts I've ever had? Probably not. But as an overall Portland experience, Voodoo definitely lives up to the hype in its own unique way.

Meh donuts. Super sweet. They definitely go for the pizzazz of each donut but quality is lacking. I'm sure it's for someone but not personally for me. Voodoo doll only had a small amount of super super sweet filling & oh captain, my captain had very stale cereal.

These doughnuts are so yummy! They have so many choices and they weren't out of anything even though we went around 10 am. The parking lot was also really big so we had no trouble there. Service was also super quick and staff was very friendly!

So many donuts to choose from!

Worth the hype! We were in Portland and in need of a fun breakfast. Voodoo Doughnut was perfect! The shop has a fun & funky vibe and the doughnuts all have creative names. I think there were around 30 different varieties! The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. It was a gorgeous day in the PNW so we enjoyed our doughnuts outside on a picnic table and did some people watching.

I must say, I had Voodoo doughnuts on the brain....I'm so glad I had the chance to visit while in Portland and after multiple friends insisted I go, specifically for the bacon maple doughnut, they weren't wrong. The location I visited had plenty of parking, which I appreciated, and the staff were friendly and efficient. There's a huge variety of donuts, so whether you like classic, over-the-top, or somewhere in between, there's something for your sweet spot. They also had holiday options, which was a nice touch...tis the season! Another standout was the...me and Mariah go back like babies and pacifiers...the ODB...Iykyk. It was a fun stop, good donuts, and worth the visit.

    Yummm!!

You just can't go wrong at Voodoo. You're bound to find an outstanding selection of delectable donuts, and most likely flavors you've never had before. Of course they have a standard selection, but for some reason, even their standard donuts blow any other donuts out of the water. Whenever I'm in Portland, this is one of the stops I make, no matter what. The truth is, I can't help but get at least four, yup FOUR. And yes, they are all four for me. My second language is Oink :) Sometimes there's a line but fear not my donut noshing Yelpster, it moves pretty quickly. The team inside make sure to keep it moving, and the security guard standing at the door is constantly ushering people in and out. If you haven't been here while in Portland, what the hell have you been doing??? Crawl out from under that rock and make your way to voodoo doughnut!!

Came here for an original glazed, left with an original glazed that was not sweet whatsoever and incredibly fluffy. Overall had a great tie and a we delicious as per usual.

Service is friendly as always. It was my husband's first time in Portland so of course we had to make time to visit Voodoo Doughnuts. The donuts are as delicious as they are beautiful. We ordered four donuts and two milks. They even threw in a special Valentine's Day donut for us which was dope. This is a must visit in Portland.

This is a great location. The staff ensured I had fresh donuts for my order, and the variety was very large and delicious.

We visited Twisted Croissant to pick up some treats to tide us over on our drive back up to…read moreSeattle. Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. (5/5) Twisted Croissant certainly does some some really delectable treats. It's one of my favorite bakeries in Portland!

Twisted Croissant was definitely one of my favorite bakeries in the city, however, they have…read moresignificantly raised their prices, and the pastries are much smaller. I'm not sure that I can justify spending $7 to $12 on a single pastry. This will have to be my special occasion bakery, I suppose. Additionally, I had a less than pleasant exchange with one of the employees. It kind of caught me off guard because that has never happened before. Maybe she was just having a rough day.
