Hands down the best donuts in Portland. And they're Vegan?! I love that Doe Donuts has a classic menu but then also gets creative with seasonal special donuts, which gives me an excuse to come back to try their new flavors. They also sell ice cream and coffee, though I've never tried anything else but their donuts. Small shop so I wouldn't recommend coming to eat in, but there's a cute outdoor seating area. Street parking is usually easy. They also have a rewards program. Service is always prompt and friendly, asking everyone what their plans are for the day. Highly recommend!

Super fun donut shop! The service was great and they had endless options to choose from; all equally beautiful. We grabbed a half dozen donuts and the standout was the Salted Vanilla Bean. So simple, but so tasty. The other flavors were nice, but didn't pack the punch I was hoping for.

Every time. We love Doe. Savory. Sweet creamy. Crunchy. They've got it all. We haven't been disappointed yet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I'm always happy with Doe in my belly lol. And my kids LOVE it. My carnivore hubby loves it too. So it's a treat for the whole family. Thanks Doe!!

Love Doe Donuts! Nice staff, tasty donuts, and super unique flavors. I'm not even vegan but would happily eat these over regular donut shop donuts. I got two of the March specials- the strawberry and cream fritter and the rosemary caramel donut. They were both delicious! Good price for vegan donuts as well. Looking forward to coming back and trying some other flavors!

OMG! I finally got to stop in here after years of wanting to try them. It did not disappoint at all! I opted for 3 flavors, vanilla bean, Dubai chocolate, and sweet potato curry. Wow! Mind was blown. That Dubai chocolate was absolutely amazing. The cream inside was whipped and so light, not overly sweet. The sweet potato curry was so delicious. The flavor was unmatched. Then the classic vanilla bean was everything I wanted sweetness with a little hit of salty. All vegan! Service wasn't anything great. Quick in and out service.

I haven't been to doe donuts in a while, but they're definitely one of my favorite places for vegan donuts with a lot of fun varieties too. I got the s'mores ice cream sandwich. it was very rich and gooey. the corn fritter donut had actual pieces of corn inside.

Top down - Portland Fog, Hazelnut Chocolate, Italian old-fashioned
    K T.

We were on our way to Seattle, and I'm so glad we made the trek to this place. Wow, just writing this has me drooling thinking about their chocolate hazelnut donut. Omg, one of the best things I ate on this trip. My mouth was genuinely happy with this fluffy, raised donut, and they were not stingy with the filling--packed to the extreme. It was so good that after finishing the first one, I immediately went back for another. YUMMMM. They really know how to do it right. Hands down, I'm blown away. Portland Fog - another yummy contender and definitely worth ordering. Italian old-fashioned - Wow?!! Not your traditional version at all, thanks to a surprisingly delicious crunch. I've never been a fan of old-fashioned donuts because of their density, but this one persuaded me to take three bites (which says a lot). Loved this twist! Will return when I'm in town!!!

I can see why the Portland fog is such a popular flavor! Their donuts are super light and airy, not too dense. Their fritter was so yummy and the chunks of apple really finished it off quite well. Their breakfast blt was also enjoyable, I like how they used a donut as the bread, made it also a good light breakfast. Perfect spot for a grab and go!

This place is an absolute gem of Portland. Hands down the best donuts around. The fact that all of their products are completely vegan is honestly mind-blowing, because they honestly taste so good and like regular donuts. My daughter can't have eggs so we are always looking for good vegan bakeries and this place was SO good. In fact, it was so good that we all went there multiple times in the same weekend even though we don't have to have vegan donuts because they were just that delicious. This place blows all the other donut places away, it's absolutely the best in Portland. All of the ones we tried were amazing, but the Portland Fog is heavenly.

early grey and salted vanilla are so good. the saltiness is a bit strong though so after a couple bites, i would take a break and eat the earl grey, the earl grey is light and the cream on top is good. service was friendly and quick. it's a small place with no seating. would definitely recommend!

I DoorDashed a Baker's Choice Half Dozen and a seasonal flavored (Banana) coffee. I haven't had a banana coffee before and it was yummy - definitely unique. The special thing about them is there are tons of wacky flavor options. Two of the really interesting donuts in our half dozen were: - The couch potato: chocolate glaze x kettle chips x pretzels x mini chocolate chips - The almond joy: chocolate glaze x coconut x toasted almonds The presentation was good, nice branding and box with the delivery order. I wasn't crazy about the contents and that's what the focus should be. This was my first experience with Doe Donuts and while I liked the variety of donuts provided in the bakers choice box, I didn't really like any of the donuts in particular. The frosting and toppings were good but the dough base they use is not to my liking. It was thick and cakey but also very dense. I am particular to a more light, fluffy donut. The toppings were heavy as well. I likely won't be trying them again, but I've provided a photo for reviewers to make their own decisions.

Cute shop and a service wasn't bad! Their donuts were just not for me. It reminded me of a Kenyan treat called mundazi.. couldn't really taste the coffee in the blueberry mix, the salt def out weighed the vanilla bean, the cinnamon roll was ok bc the icing covered the donut.

    dry red velvet donut

I've loved Doe Donuts for many years but i think they just stopped caring... we went in the morning so it should be all fresh donuts and i was very excited for the Red Velvet cake as its made with cream cheese frosting, however when i ordered it it was extremely dry and there was little frosting to make up for it. We got an assortment of some other limited flavors and regular which were all a miss (just not made the same way or possibly old donuts) also the iced coffee was very grainy and chalky Very disappointing as this used to be one of my favorite places, i doubt i'll return for a very long time.

Are all of the donuts vegan?

    Yes

    How are the classic donuts?

Amazing! Best donuts I ever had.

$40 for a dozen donuts. Are they worth the cost of a tank full of gasoline?

I would take a dozen Doe donuts over a tank full of gasoline any day.

Are there any discounts for orders by the dozen?

    Nope!

No they don't shop their donuts. Time for a road trip?? ;)

Very tasty scramble, though the refried beans were a bit oversalted. Huge portion -- very carb-heavy, would've preferred some veggies in here, but that's Mexican cuisine for you. Doesn't really hold a candle to authentic Mexican cuisine you get down in Mexico, but pretty solid for Portland / northern US. The coffees we ordered weren't great quality -- pretty weak and watery. All in all, reasonable value, huge portions, tasty mains. Worth checking out.
