Lil Woody (2) & basket of hand-cut fries

3 Stars but hear me out: time and place. Specifically, great for a drunchie meal lol. Lil Woody: it's like a slightly dressed up version of a McDonald's cheeseburger.....so, no, not 4x better when considering price (for a grass-fed beef patty here it seemed a bit rubbery) but, hey, it hits the spot when you need it. Basket of hand-cut fries: they're like Five Guys fries but thin-cut and greasy to the touch. Could feel my arteries clogging but it's hard to stop munching on them because they're quite tasty haha. Very friendly cashier gentleman. Small interior so most likely have to take your order to-go especially during dinner hours.

Lil Woodys is a Seattle institution. I have been coming to this location since 2018 or possibly even longer! Woodys has always had great prices, food, very kind staff working. I come here on a monthly basis, and I never get tired of it.

Solid local burger joint. Their fries are a little wilted usually but the burgers are great. I love that they have so many collabs with other local restaurants to do really interesting concept burgers. We went for the first time on a week where we were able to get the Banh tet chicken sandwhich - Shallot Soy Fish Sauce, Marinated Fried Chicken Thigh, Pickled Mustard Greens, Sliced Bánh Tét Fried Sticky Rice Ring ,Mung Bean Spread, BatMe Chili Oil Aioli, Franz Kaiser Bun.

Service was good. Got the Lil Woody burger for $9 with a side of queso for $4. There's some bar seats and also some tables to sit at.

The staff was ok however everything was a fail. I should have just got on my plane hungry. The Tap beer was flat or stale so they need to change out the Sam Adam's if they read this. They messed up a burger. I saw the burgers everywhere around me and man it is grade D. Good ambience nice looking place really looked like very promising, but I will tell you I had to pay extra for lettuce on the burger, which is no problem. I don't mind paying however if they didn't bring me this lettuce which I had to ask for three times they finally remember after not forgetting to charge me for it. Mind you they went to the register and had some register war. The only decent thing on that burger was that chunk of iceberg lettuce. I'm always in Seattle airport and I will recommend no one to eat there. It is a terrible terrible spot that unless you get an Airline food voucher, you won't walk away feeling anything but ripped off. I may say something to them next time, but likely I won't because it's never worth it at this point you could literally make a reasonable comment to somebody these days and they'll make it about something tribal or worse. What a waste of 50 bucks one beer one burger their system wants to default to the highest tip absolutely pathetic absolutely terrible terrible. They need to get better product better burger I mean who makes a burger without a piece of lettuce. I told them no tomato and then they go and charge me for some lettuce ridiculous. PS total buyer's remorse. They screw up burger and Beer . How do you ruin tap beer and a burger? How???

I'm biased because I'm not a potato bread person, but I was shocked that for my burger (2/5 stars) the patty was so small and aside from the onion ring, mayo, and BBQ sauce there was nothing else in my burger (no lettuce, no tomato). The fries (2/5 stars) were the very narrow, crispy, and greasy kind. That being said, staff were kind, and I'm happy I finally got to check this place out after Kenji Lopez recommended it.

We stumbled into this cute burger place while exploring downtown. The burgers are tasty, and they give you plenty of fries. You can dine in or take out, and there's seating both downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs is great if you're just 1-3 people and want a view of the sidewalk, while upstairs has more room if you've got a larger group.

Went here on a Wednesday afternoon for a quick lunch. Was easy walking access, small place but plenty to sit, staff was quick and food was delicious. Would love to go again and try more things.

Incredible burgers and fries. Great location. Friendly service. So glad we found this place randomly on a whim during our trip to Seattle. This place looks nondescript but the food is incredible. The burgers are well seasoned and juicy. The fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you're in the area, check this place out for sure.

Because it was hot and sweaty, a big sea of people were waiting both outside and inside this place, and I saw only about 5 or so staff members making all the drinks. There's only two tables and two benches to sit at on the right-hand side of the place; otherwise, the rest of the space is behind the counter where all the drinks are made and the strong aromatic aroma of tea fills the interior. From my visit here, I think you can only place orders either through their lone kiosk to the left-hand side of the entrance near a corner, or by scanning the QR code at the front of the entrance and following prompts on your phone. Staff was too busy making drinks to take orders at the front counter when I was inside. Either way, you have to use the HeyTea app to scan a QR code (on the receipt you get after placing your order) if you want to see an estimate on when your drink(s) will be ready. By the time I signed up for an account and downloaded the app using the slow 5G, my estimated time was 25 minutes; however, the wait for my triple supreme matcha latte (with extra matcha, less sugar and all other things in their recommended settings) ended up being more than 45 minutes as I walked around the perimeter and waited inside and outside this location as well. It was really chaotic trying to get my drink once it was ready; people were cutting in front of me and others to show staff their receipt and pick up their orders even though I was in front of the line. Taste wise though, the matcha is a strong ceremonial blend with grassy tones that actually caught me by surprise. That's because they have a matcha cheese cloud which I thought would have dulled the matcha taste but it didn't! There's also matcha mochi and what tasted like matcha jelly on the bottom which further strengthened the earthy tones. Probably because it was really hot as of this writing, the ice melted much fasted than usual so that's out of this place's control and therefor doesn't detract from my experience itself. Wait here was really long for just one drink but I'm thankful there's something you can use to see when your drinks are ready - in this case, their HeyTea app. I would probably only come back if I was around the area, though wait times for drinks might deter me from doing so altogether.

I visited twice and tried two different drinks on separate days: the Mango Coconut Tea and the…read morePistachio Tea. Unfortunately, neither one was for me, but I can definitely see why they're popular with younger customers. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very fast with preparing the drinks. The shop itself is quite small, so I wouldn't plan on staying to sit for long.

The bread surprised me as being a new type of sandwich bread - it was really crispy, and the grill marks were pretty cool to see. The crunch on it was actually quite nice. Honestly was very surprised the bread was this good. The steak was decent enough. Nothing special, but also they don't do the thing where they call it a steak sandwich or bowl and give you a few pieces of skirt steak. The meat was actually spread apart well throughout the sandwich. The cheese and sauces gave this a good moisture level to prevent it from being too dry. This contributed to the pretty good taste Only issue is the price - it's quite a small sandwich, and yet you're paying 15 bucks for it. That's just insane prices. This is hardly filling enough for a single person for lunch. Overall, I was expecting this to be expensive and bad, and at least it was just expensive. 7.5/10
