The food was so good, i was with my friends and we were trying out a new spot for soul food and found this. The prices were good for the amount of food you get and you get a lot. The service did take a bit longer than expected but i think it was mostly because of the 5 of us ordering back to back. but overall it was worth the wait. When I tell you the worst service! I try my best to support my Black people, but today was not the day to play with me. so the manager took my order she told me it would be 25 minutes. I waited in my car and when I returned 25 minutes later, I asked her how long and her and another young lady both said they were busy and they had a lot of orders. I continue to sit down and wait and I see that they had a lot of orders that's fine but when someone else ask them how long it would be, they told them about 10 minutes.. so when I asked how long it would be after waiting 30 minutes it was a whole big problem manager/employee try to communicate to me that I was improper for asking a question about my wait time. How stupid is that the customer is always right after waiting 30 minutes you mean to tell me I'm in the wrong eventually the manager was displeased about me continuity talk about so she refunded my money and told me I should give a review...... So, I just want say if you hate your job get another one!!! The customer is always right. Who turns down good money I try my best to support a black owned business but this is just disgusting when the management/employees try to double team up on a customer who is just asking questions about the order which they had already waited 30 minutes.!! remember, you didn't hurt me by returning my $50. I do not even know where to start. This place is beyond amazing. I was looking for a new place to try the other day, and I stumbled across this on yelp: only two reviews but both five-star ratings. I looked at google it had 6 reviews, all five-star ratings. I have to admit that I didn't read the entire reviews because they had me at food was great. So when I plugged it into Waze, I was confused when it had me pull up to a strip mall, and then the address was a party store. You should not let that scare you off. I have to say I have had some of the best food where you didn't expect it, and this is no exception. So this place I learned is a family-owned business. It is a Husband and Wife and Daughter team. They did tell me their names when they were telling me about the business. But I am really terrible at remembering names. So I am going to just refer to the guy running the grill as Dad. I loved how his positive energy and how proud he was of making my burger. I ordered the Big Reg burger, and I was not expecting it. When I got back to the office, the thing was huge two patties with cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. I could barely fit it into my mouth, and I am pretty much a fat ass. The burger was very flavorful and Juicy. Great Job, Dad!. I also got Mac and Cheese. I am not going to claim it was the best mac and cheese I have ever had. But it's in the top five. After I ordered, I noticed they had dessert, and I do love me some dessert. I ended up getting Banana pudding, and I can not remember the last time I had it. It was so yummy. I was very fortunate to watch a preview about this restaurant. On channel 2 morning news segment This is located in a party store. The owners were saying that they always wanted .To open up a restaurant. Their savings went in to it. I had the Big Reg burger and my wife had the gimme all you got baked potato. I could only eat half of my burger. My wife just ate a little bit of her baked potato. Both were very good and feeling. This is a black owned business. They obeyed the COVID-19 guidelines. Our office decided to Celebrate Black History Month , with a luncheon. From our initial phone call Chanae was very helpful in assisting me to pick out food options and portions to feed 125 people. When I say that the food was AMAZING, as well as the personal touch and customer service. Chanae was always just a phone call away to answer all of my concerns and put me at ease. She handled everything to Perfection!!! I wish that we would have taken pictures, but the crowd that surrounded me, was not going to allow it. They quickly enjoyed the Collard greens, green beans,rib tips, baked and fried chicken, mac and cheese, peach cobbler and the best pound cake that I have ever had in my entire life. Which brings me to my next point: they need a separate line for those who already placed orders over the phone. I didn't know you could order in advance, I do live a little ways away from the location. It was definitely worth the approx. 18 minute wait in my car for my food to get done. GET THE COLLARD GREENS! Those greens taste like big mama made them. Simply amazing. Only bad thing is we initially ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats and everything was delicious.
