Odd place, this starts the the name. Lily's cafe America serves Latin and Mexican food...ok, just a bit deceiving. Ordering requires you to stand in a line which was painfully slow to order anything including a drink, a server will eventually drop your food off. We sat outside on a nice summer day which in itself was beautiful, but the chairs are super uncomfortable and the tables remarkably small and unable hold much more than a drink and small saucer. Because of the table leg layout you couldn't sit close in against the table and I found myself dropping pieces of my food as I tied to feed myself from a distance away from the table. The cuban and a separate side of guacamole was ok, but lacked any distinct flavor. The children's chicken fingers were the shinning star here, but funny enough my daughter wouldn't touch them. I wouldn't head back unless others really wanted to go here and I'm sure I'd try my best to convince them to go to Hickory, MOMs or a dozen other places within walking distance first.

I'm in love with this place! I've eaten here a few times and I always love it. Everything is so fresh and flavorful! I cannot wait to eat there again! If you do go you MUST try the Potato Pancakes. They are a mix of white potatoes and sweet potatoes and they are topped with black beans , cheddar, and sour cream! This is a big enough portion for a meal but I suggest getting it as an app and trying the other wonderful food options!

The food is really unique but all the flavors go together very well. One of my favorite places in town!

Good Mexican food in Doylestown. Great prickly pear margarita. Fresh ingredients and well priced dishes. Nice outdoor seating.

Very good food! We were in the area and looking for a good Mexican restaurant. There are a good…read moreamount of Mexican restaurants in the area but we came across this one in a strip mall. Before we entered the restaurant we were "distracted" by the vibrant ice cream store in the same strip. We walked in and were overwhelmed with all the ice cream options. Speaking to the owner, he said his family owns the EL Primo Plaza. We were on a mission for food, but will definitely visit the ice cream store in the future (our plan was after dinner, but dinner was so delicious and so filling, there was no room for dessert this time...better planning next time!). The restaurant is in a Mexican convenience store, but this is not your typical Mexican convenience store. They had so many options for everything. And they have this great bakery in the back before the restaurant. Everything looked SO good! In the back is a full sit down restaurant. We were seated and it is nicely decorated and has a view into the kitchen to watch them make the food. Our server promptly greeted us with some chips and what I think was a mole sauce. They were very tasty. We decided on a watermelon drink and shared mixed fajitas. The watermelon drink was fresh watermelon and it was very refreshing. The mixed fajitas came out piping hot, full of steak chicken and good sized shrimp. Sometimes at other places you get the baby cocktail shrimp, but these were a good size and nicely grilled and seasoned. You get a nice amount of sides to make your fajitas. There was so much food that we asked for extra shells at no additional cost! We thought we put a dent in the food, but we had so much still to take home. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. The meat was nice and tender. There was a good amount of peppers and onions but it wasn't overpowered as sometimes also we have gotten fajitas elsewhere when there is mostly veggies and very little meat. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left. Very good. We have added it to the list of places to return.

We walked into this place accidentally and decided to sit down to eat. Beautiful place. Super busy!…read moreService was a little slow. We thought the food was average. Not pictured was tacos on lettuce which was the best thing we got! Small condiment bar and great agua fresca

Walked in and the vibe was already a win, warm and inviting, the kind of place where you just relax right into the vibe, or head to the large bar and watch some World Cup action. Went for lunch. Service was on point too, attentive but never annoying about it. Friendly and had real suggestions when asked about faves. They brought out complimentary ceviche and honestly, incredible start. Fresh, acid balanced perfectly so you actually taste the fish, clean, instead of just lime juice and spice. And can we talk about the rice? Sounds basic, looked normie, but it was somehow the most flavorful part of the whole meal. This flavor bomb looked plain but IYKYK that this level of execution just looks simple. The rice alone will have you thinking about indulging your inner fat kid and ordering extra to take home. Like the dessert that you'll likely skip because the portions are filling. Ps. Get the flan! We went all in and ordered the seafood chimichanga, steak, shrimp fajitas, and guac on the side. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nice char on the grilled stuff, proteins juicy and tender, nothing dry, nothing overdone. The sauces were bright and punchy too, tasted like rich Mexican flavors with that fresh from the sea quality paired with exceptionally grilled seafood and tender meat. If you're anywhere near Montgomeryville and haven't been, fix that. This place deserves a crowd.

The waitress was very sweet, and brought us a second serving of ceviche with really crisp and fresh chips. They said they made them in house My husband ate the Mexican sushi - and declared it was some of the best sushi he's had in a long time. Honestly- it was deep fried. It doesn't take much to impress him. I loved their food- if we're ever in the area- we would go back!
