The baked food from this bakery is pretty good compared to many other Chinese bakery stores. I got the coconut bun too. Very flavorful. 8/10 Pineapple bun- 8/10 Pastry 老婆饼-7/10

I come here often to buy some bread. You get a tray and tell the worker which kind of breads you want. She will put it on the tray for you and then you can go to the front desk to pay. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable for the quality. This place does get pretty busy, which I don't mind waiting in since I always come here for their breads. Today, I came for their milk tea for breakfast.

Lily Bloom Bakery is definitely one of the most popular bakeries in NYC among Cantonese group and their signature egg tart is a must-try. It's owned by the same owner of Xin Fa Bakery, which we visited a while ago. The decor is bright, clean and modern with proper safety procedure during the pandemic. The options were not in a great variety but pretty decent and we had 2 pastries and a box of egg tarts. The egg tarts were delicious and it's filling was super creamy & soft like the sweet version of steamed egg with thin & crispy layer. However, the 2 pastries we got weren't good, plain with fragile texture. We might visit again if we are in the neighborhood but only for the egg tarts. The best thing is they accept credit card with no minimum.

Best Pouh taat in Brooklyn I must say. The lady at counter is very pleasant and right away she asked how many of these Portueguese egg tarts I will take to go. Bought half dozen, each egg tart is very creamy, dense and lightly sweetened. It was served piping hot and fresh. Much better than the ones in Flushing, a cheap and filling snack for you gals out there!!

This place has great dessert. They have decently priced bubble tea (compared to Bing Ling tea nearby) that tastes just perfect, and $1.50 baked pork buns that are perfectly sweet inside. I love the lime coconut dessert and apparently so does my dog. It tastes like a pudding or creamy cheese cake. I'd love to try more of their treats next time I'm PMSing. It's a really good thing my gym's close by...

If you are craving Portuguese egg tart then you must visit Lily Bloom. Their egg tart is creamy and the crust is buttery and flakey and the best part of it all their egg tart comes out nice and warm.

Thoughtful (and meticulously) hand-written thank you note discovered in the bottom of my bag of buns!

I am so glad that this bakery came back after quarantine. Their Portuguese egg tarts have always been the best. They have classic Chinese buns as well as some more exotic choices ie taro sponge cakes. Their bubble tea drinks are also reasonably priced and the service is always friendly. Just the other day they even left me a nice note in my bag of buns. I always leave feeling good about my purchases and I am glad to support them during this time.

Run for these Portuguese egg tarts! They are so creamy on the inside and the crusts are so flakey. These are my favorite! They taste great warm right out of the oven. I got half a dozen for some friends that were visiting and they loved them!

The BEST Portuguese tarts in NYC! The 5 stars refer for the tarts only. The other bak d goods are good but definitely not exceptional.

First time coming in person (I have been spoiled and a fantastic coworker would bring in different…read moretreats from here on occasion). The space is relatively small, with a line inside and outside and a few tables outside. The length of the line and wait time varies based on the time of day and if you go on a weekday vs weekend. Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

Dropped by Radio Bakery on the Tuesday morning after Memorial Day and the lines weren't too crazy…read more I got there in time to grab some breakfast items and baked goods, and then waited at a table outside for the lunch items to get set out around 11AM. I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

Radio Bakery... is perfection. I completely understand the line…read more I first ordered the heirloom tomato & feta sandwich, which was unbelievable. It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way. The tomatoes reminded me of the ones I grew in my garden during California summers as a teenager. Perfectly salted, layered over soft, not-too-tart feta. The focaccia was made with beautiful olive oil and, while a bit chewier than I usually prefer, gave the sandwich a satisfying bite. I had to close my eyes while eating it just to savor it. The chocolate cherry almond croissant... wow. Such a creative combination, and it did not disappoint. Soft, buttery, and filled with a sour cherry compote that reminded me of a cherry cordial from a box of chocolates. 5/5. Hainsley, who helped me, was exceptionally lovely. Everyone even in line was very nice, the vibes were awesome. I'll definitely be back to try the spicy tofu sandwich and the heirloom tomato tart!

This was delicious but they should definitely keep it on a warming tray or something! It was nice and cheesy with a good amount of the bacon and a whole egg inside. Also had the peach iced tea (doesn't come sweetened but they have options on the bar opposite the register. Service was quick and friendly I was in and out. Grabbed a spot on the bench under the tree to chow down.
