Mali-boo to the negative reviews, because this place tickles my fancy! They must be envious because that green sauce is so tasty, I could (and admittedly did) drink it up. The Al pastor was as succulent a the shrubbery around, yet delightfully tantalizing to the tasteful senses.

They originally gave us a one-hour wait time but we're not from Malibu, so "when in Rome," I suppose. That turned out to be completely off (for the better)! The breakfast burrito was so filling that I was barely hungry by 8pm after having it at 1pm. The crispy bacon was a good texture contrast to the smooth refried beans and scrambled eggs, which were objectively the most tender eggs I have ever had in my life. The only downside was the price point was a little higher than I expected, but it was also a lot of food.

HUGEEE breakfast burritos. I highly recommend sharing unless you're super hungry. We waited about 15-20 minutes and it was worth the wait. My friends kept saying how much they loved the beans. I got the veggie breakfast burrito and loved the assortment of veggies inside. The bacon was crispy in the other breakfast burritos but wish they added more! The sauce they give you definitely has a kick.

Burrito and the beach! Perfection! Egg whites, bacon (well done), beans, and cheese.... and of course the infamous green hot sauce ;-p

Sunday 11/30/25 Just have to give props to whoever was in the kitchen this morning! Thank you! Also to the girl who took my order over the phone and rang me up....she was nice (I think maybe her name was Jamie??? Or??? Hair was up in a bun and tattoos). Thank you! My breakfast burrito was exceptional! It's always yummy, but today it was extra yummy :-p I requested for my bacon to be extra crispy and it was! It was muy delicioso! Purrfection! Got my two jars of hot sauce too :-)

Right before heading into Lily's I witnessed a McLaren hit a Model Y as it was backing out, symbolic in many ways of our times, and the Tesla owner just replied "no worries man". That is the level of chill I wish to achieve but not after taking a bite of this cheesy delicious burrito goodness that got me drooling like a rabid perro (means dog in Spanish lookitup)! Will come again to try the other burritos and their salsa!

We came here for lunch while visiting Malibu and had some of the worst food we've ever had. We waited over 30 mins after placing our order at the counter and paid $21 for 3 super dry chicken flautas that don't come with guacamole and $17 for 2 bland fish tacos. The cost of the food did not match the taste. From the other reviews seems like the breakfast burritos are the better items to get here, but unfortunately we will not be choosing to return.

Delicious burrito. We split a large between two people and it was the perfect size. Lots of seating for groups. Kind staff. Would come back!!

Lily's has long been on my list of places to try and so glad I did! I'm always on a hunt for great breakfast burritos. I heard online that it's best to order ahead. Website was very easy to place our order. We got there early and there was plenty of parking on a Saturday morning. There is seating indoors and outdoors in the plaza. I ordered the medium bacon burrito. In my opinion it was quite large and I was full for most of the day! The price point was reasonable ($16) and what I liked is that it was full of protein... eggs, beans and bacon and cheese. Simple yet so good. This is definitely my new go-to spot if I'm hitting up the beach early. Looking forward to coming back!

I definitely will be returning to Lily's Malibu after ordering their Bacon Breakfast Burrito. With just a medium, I was already stuffed! The area is also really cute, with surrounding stores and businesses that are worth shopping at. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and you are able to seat yourself anywhere you want.

Great spot to hang out in this shopping center for grabs --lots of parking and super friendly staff. I've heard tons of people rave about their breakfast burrito, and honestly, it was just okay for me. It's basically eggs, bacon, and beans. For the price, adding some hash browns and cheese would take it to the next level. I gave it 4 stars because the habanero sauce is actually really good. I'll probably come back to try other items on the menu and update my review.

For the food, it is a great place and a nice option for breakfast and lunch, and for a sweet treat! However, the staff is unwelcoming and provides a cold experience! For example, when you are ordering - they act uninterested and impatient with taking an order. Smiles are hard to come by and even worse is the nasty attitude received when we were trying to help a woman with three large bags of food to her car; when my son attempted to retrieve the remaining bag for her - he was yelled at by the owner, Scott. He preceded to tell my son that he should have been told that we were helping the woman; and never apologized for the tone that he took with my son who was only trying to help the woman with a large order. IDK, maybe offer to help the woman to the car...just an idea since it didn't seem to register that it would've been a nice thing for him to do for his customer! As the owner, he should be setting a better example to his staff and to the community that he serves who are local to or visiting Malibu! It's a shame to have been left with such a bad experience; and hope that he and his staff might read this and change how they manage and serve their customers!

Parking can be tight, the line usually wraps around the shack, and everyone is hungry. But don't let that scare you off--the food is absolutely worth the wait. I've been here three times now, and one thing has never changed: the 3-piece fried fish and fries is mandatory. The portions are huge, and I'm calling it now... the best fish and chips in Los Angeles. The fish is unbelievably crispy on the outside, perfectly flaky on the inside, and fried exactly the way it should be. I used to order the fried seafood combo, which comes with fish, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. Everything is good, but the fish and shrimp are the stars, so now I just order the fish and chips with fried shrimp à la carte. One item that deserves way more attention on Yelp is the ceviche. It's ridiculously fresh, loaded with flavor, and served with crispy fried tortilla chips. Honestly, I'd order it every visit. The clam chowder is good too, but the ceviche steals the spotlight. The lobster roll is another surprise. I love Broad Street Oyster Company's lobster roll, but it's over almost as soon as it starts. Malibu Seafood's version is much more generous while still being packed with fresh lobster. Don't sleep on the steamed mussels either. Order a pound for the table and make sure you save the bread for the broth. That broth alone is worth coming back for. I always finish it off with one of their fresh-squeezed lemonades--the perfect pairing after a day at the beach. Seating can take a little patience too, but that's part of the experience. Grab a table overlooking the ocean and PCH if you can. Fresh seafood, ocean breeze, and flip-flops still covered in sand... that's Malibu done right. No reservations. No fancy dress code. Just outstanding seafood in one of the best casual beachside spots around. I'll keep coming back.

Service was okay--not bad, but nothing memorable. The drinks were another letdown. They lacked flavor and weren't refreshing at all. Honestly, you're probably better off ordering water. The restaurant has a great concept, beautiful colors, and a pleasant ambiance, but the execution in the kitchen needs improvement. I hope they can refine the food because the setting has a lot of potential.
