I love this park/playground and kids do too! It is well spread out, with multiple areas of interest and it's fenced in which is amazing. There's also a separate area more suited to little kids which is nice. The bathrooms seem well maintained and the grounds do too. Sadly, one of the favorite push zip line swings was broken off when we went so hopefully that will be repaired soon. There was a good amount of shade when we went in the evening but there is not much shade in the daytime unfortunately. There's some, but nowhere near enough for California that gets about 300 days of sun each year. There are nicely shaded seating areas though. This is a park we love to visit and will continue to! read more

This is one of very few parks with shade and designated and separate play areas. It is also completely fenced for safety. Curtner is a busy street but Radio is a quiet residential street that has one hour parking on the park side of the street. The restrooms were clean on a Sunday morning and stocked with soap and toilet paper. My kid loved the variety of things to do and the soft flooring underneath the playground structures. read more

This is a great little park. It has a huge grassy field and the typical playground. It was renovated a couple of years ago. It has lots of picnic tables with some covered. There are bathrooms (not the nicest but they're okay) and water fountains. Kids like to ride their bikes around the playground on the "track." There is a cool little zip line chair for the kids to use. There is a separate area for the little ones to play (baby/toddler area). The entire playground area is enclosed. read more

This is a beautiful clean and spacious park with ton's of things to explore. It's got two area's one for smaller kids and one for older but I think and feel it has a feel of the magical bridge playground, only smaller. We go often on play dates to this park and the kids have a blast. The place also has some shaded areas as well. Parking can be tricky, as it is only street parking, so you may have to park where your able to get a spot, and then walk. This is my go to park with my son and his bestie. read more

This park is amazing!! There is an awesome tot area with a play structure (that is shaded!! Mostly) under a canopy. The entire playground has the rubbery ground which is infinitely better (safer in my opinion-- I remember getting splinters on wood chip playgrounds growing up and that was NOT fun). There's a gate to enter the park and another gate to enter the tot area which is great/extra safety. There's a big parking lot next to the park with shaded spots. There are public restrooms. There's a shaded picnic table area. All the good things! read more

Really nice park with a good sized parking lot attached. It reminds me of a 2/3 scale Magical Bridge, with high quality rides and big play structure. The zip line-style ride is a particularly big draw. Another great feature - the entire playground is fenced in. Keeps smaller humans from wandering off. The younger kids section is also great, and most of it is shaded. On a hot day this is a big game changer. This is a nice park especially on hot days, very safe, and appeals to a wide age range. The attached parking lot is also really helpful as street parking is kind of tough. If you live near here it's definitely worth checking out. They even have some adult fitness machines although I think kids end up using them most of the time. read more

This was an awesome park! I didn't realize I could be so enthusiastic about a park until today haha. It reminds me of the magical playgrounds in Sunnyvale and Palo Alto and it even had a musical instrument section; it has lots of different equipment that appeals to those with different tactile needs. There is a restroom, although it's like your average hiking stop restroom. Good enough for my kiddo to use it though. There seems to be 3 different sections at the playground, so if you have more than 1 kiddo and are by yourself, it may be a bit of a challenge keeping an eye on them because they may be a bit spread apart. It's gated and definitely feels safe! For parking, at first I thought I was parking at a school, since the lot reminded me of something like it, but suffice it to say, there is ample parking. There is no tanbark, which is great because it means that during the summer your kiddo won't complain about it getting in their sandals (and also you don't have to deal with splinters!). I was actually surprised that there weren't too many kiddos on a Sunday afternoon (although it was also a hot day, so maybe that explained it). Ran into several parents and they all were incredibly nice and considerate and mindful of their kids and their interactions with others. This may be one of my new go-to parks! read more

I love this park because they have special playground equipment for kids with special needs and I am a caregiver for a little girl in a wheelchair and she loves going there. They have a zip line I can strap her in as well as a swing. I particularly love the merry go round because I can wheel her in and lock her chair and she can get spun around. There is always a lot of parking available and tables and benches. Definitely recommend going here because their playground is big and fun for all ages! read more

This review is for the toddler park. I yelped "toddler playgrounds" and Lincoln Glen was the closest park near us. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood, and attached to a community center. We went on a Saturday around 12pm. The toddler park is gated with two entrances. It's cute and free from garbage. There is plenty of shading for parents and sitters to stand in while the kids plays. Near the seesaw there bushes that birds like to fly to and sing. My toddler finds this to be her prime time entertainment as she LOVES birds but doesn't get to see them as closely in our regular park. This park doesn't seem to be very popular as there was only two other toddlers the entire time we were there. There is a sand box that we did not use as our toddler was more interested in the wooden riders. She couldn't get enough of them! We enjoyed the toddler slides and swing set. She also enjoyed the grass and kept walking on it and touching it. Do keep in mind there is also tan bark around the toddler structure. Some of the wooden riders show wear and may unexpectedly cause splinters. Our regular park is meant for all ages, but is over populated due to all the apartment buildings around it. Lincoln Glen is a breath of fresh air, and a slight call back to my child hood. I feel we can come here and not worry about her getting stepped on or pushed by kids and preteens playing tag on the play structures. The big kid section is on the other end of the park. We did not go to that side. There is a bathroom on-site. read more

This park is one of the best sensory and inclusive parks in San Jose! I have a 3 year old son with autism and sensory input is key for him, this park even has slides for great sensory. The entire park is gated which is great for kids who just love to freely run around. They have a smaller children section that's great for baby's and kids ages 1-3. The bigger playground is great for toddlers as well and is always clean. They have several inclusive rides and wheelchair accessible. The downside is that it can get pretty crowded, best times to go is either early morning or lunch hour for less crowds. read more

The only thing I would be careful with are the parts where the ground doesn't level up to the structural pieces. It could be a slip hazard. Otherwise nice park! read more

This was a cool park before the remodel. It's still a cool park after, some different & cool stuff, like the chair swing zip line. Giving a bad review because of the new tanbark used at this park. We go to different parks around willow glen and San Jose daily with my kids, this is the only park that we get slivers all over all 3 times we've come to this park! Mind you, we do not play in the tanbark, but it spills onto the rubber surface and I as an adult, will have 30+ slivers, all over my hands & legs. (It sticks into my yoga pants from sitting on the floor or curb or picking up my kids.) We tried to picnic on the concrete in the middle and sat on some. I have no idea why, but it hurts. It really needs to be vacuumed up and get the new usual tanbark at every other park read more

I love this park. I'm a nanny, to two twin girls, and I love how the parks are separated. I really enjoy having the infant/toddler park gated in. It allows me to sit down and be able to relax knowing that they can roam the whole area, from the swings to the climbing structure without the chances of going into the street.(I do keep a close eye on them regardless of a gate, and therefore are no chances of running Into the street, but it helps ease my mind a little) I'm giving this park 4 stars because: The water fixture isn't running, and according to the handy man, won't be running for another week or so, as summer is coming to an end, it was kind of a bummer that the water was shut for most of the summer time, but still a great park. Also, the bathrooms are closed, which means you need to use the ones at the senior center. Just an inconvenience, but the senior center bathrooms are cleaner. Also, they keep up to date on fixing problems with the park, and it's fairly clean. This park is around the corner from my place of work, it makes perfect for afternoon walks, and a quick outing when the girls need to burn some energy. read more

Came to this park for Easter, my family and I have been coming here for many years now to celebrate Easter. It's kinda of a tradition to come to this park. But today we were very disappointed. Both the men and women's restroom was a mess it's was pretty disgusting seeing period blood on the floor and pads everywhere. The men's bathroom there was pee everywhere. This place is a great little park that I've taken my little one too. There are two playground areas - one for toddlers and the other for older kids. The playground area for toddlers has a soft foamy type of ground. This playground is great for her size. During the summer, the water spouts/spray is on so she's enjoyed that immensely. Just be sure to come prepared with a towel and change of clothes. read more

LOVE this park. The best part (as so many other parents mentioned)... FENCING! Not just for the little kids areas, but also for the soccer field/large playground areas that border Curtner. I felt I could actually sit and relax with two toddlers in this park, specifically due to the enclosures (YES!). Our kids love the sandbox. Someone keeps leaving shovels/pails there for community use which is great (meaning we don't have to bring our own). Only downside is the "water works" areas (water fountains, frogs and splash-pad area) are all run-down and not working. So dissappointing! Sinks were also broken in the bathrooms both times we visited. Too bad because this park is awesome. read more

I enjoy this park quite a bit. It has two separate parks, one for the "older or bigger" kids and then one for the "little" kids. The little kids park is gated so they can't really just take off when you blink. The big playground has some fun equipment and the entire park itself is fenced. Parking is great and spots are available all the time. There is also a water feature, which when is working is awesome for everyone. The field tends to be a bit mushy with mud but i'm sure with the warm weather coming will dry it out pretty well. Also, I haven't noticed much dog poop in the grass, which is really nice. read more

My 4 yr old and I enjoy this playground. The toddler area has many shady structures, but the rocking toy horses and teeter totter get really hot on an 85 degree day. The big water spout worked for us on our 1st visit, but not the 2nd. I called the City Parks & Rec to notify them. I guess when it does work kids step on the spouts or put tan bark in it which busts the pipes under ground. So please ask your children not to do this! There were a dozen or so children in their bathing suits who couldn't cool off because if this feature being off . The little stream at the 'big kids' side worked fine and the children loved playing in the wet sand. One full star for having bathrooms! One full star for all the shade. There were Plenty of places to stay cool without interfering with other peoples pic-nics or activity. Our mid- summer visit was great . New tan bark, nice children. Plenty of parking. Oh, one star removed for having a broken toddler swing and broken water feature. I trust this will be repaired soon. read more

This is a park that is readily enjoyed by young children. There is a gated play area with equipment for younger kids and plenty of benches and tables for picnics. There is another playground next door with equipment for slightly older children including two slides and four swings. Unfortunately the zip line is not completely connected: if you can manage to hold your child up four or five feet in the air to reach the section of it that is connected, they have a blast. There is a small water play area in which your child can run through spraying water. This park has bathrooms, a grassy field that is sometimes used for sports practice, and ample parking. The location is as convenient as possible. This park would appeal most to children from age one to eight or nine. Worth a visit if you are in the area and want to entertain young kids. read more

The ones for toddlers is gated but my 3 yr old can still unlock the door and get out. In the middle there is a water area for kids to run around. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Playground equipment is nice. Good play structures, fun little water features for getting your hands dirty. Fenced in area for toddlers is great. The whole thing could use more shade of course, like most parks in the area. The big problem with this park is the field is full of dog poop. My kid has soccer classes here, and my toddler and husband have gotten covered in dog crap on a few occasions. Other times, we've just been fortunate to see it and step around it, but, seriously, the dog poop makes this park a no. It's... a lot of dog poop. read more

This is a fabulous neighborhood park. The equipment is all in good condition and offers a variety of "obstacles" for developing motor skills. My son enjoys the slides, the wobbly poles and the sand pit. There is a little tykes area that is fenced off (yeah for safety) and a bigger little kids area that has a bit more room to roam. There is also a huge soccer field and plenty of parking. During the summer months there is a water feature - we're excited to try that out as the weather begins to warm. read more

Cute park. Separated into 2 areas by a fence. Toddler area is largest fenced in park I have seen yet. Has a sand area and climbing structure, 2 baby swings and enough sidewalk space for toddlers to stretch their legs without big kids around. This area was great for my 17 month old but boring for my 3.5 year old. So we went over to the big kid area too (5-12 years old). 3.5 year old had plenty to do there. Sand, tall tube slide, plenty of different kinds of climbing (steps, ladder, rope type ladder etc.) monkey bars, and another shorter slide. The 17 month old did well on all the bridges that connect the whole structure and the shorter slide. Bathrooms were typical one stall public restrooms. Not much shade so if you have fair skin, bring SPF. read more

Came here yesterday due to all the good reviews. This park needs some remodeling and cleaning for sure. There was a towel is feces on it in the playground. The grounds are not maintained at all. My son loves sand, which was the main reason I came here. He had fun, but it just seemed so dirty. I won't be back. read more
