There's only one cart at USciences...and it's Linda. There's a reason for that though. Some have tried to compete but there's no competition. She can make ANYTHING and remembers EVERYTHING. My favorite thing from her is grilled chicken on pita, but I've seen her cheese steaks and they look incredible too. If you're on campus for orientation or just new to the area- definitely head to her cart for lunch, you won't be disappointed! read more

This cart is next to Griffith Hall and fellow staff have been telling me to check out Linda's Cart since the day I started! Linda and Niel are a sweet couple and apparently remember names and orders really well--my colleagues had told them that I was new and would be coming by sometime and they remembered. The cheese steak I got was a really generous portion and cost only $5.80! I liked this so much more than Pat's, which was my first Philly cheesesteak since moving to this city a little over a month ago. From what I've heard, Linda's is a USciences/USP staple. I've worked on campus for nearly 2 years and I'm ashamed to say I just made it here for the first time last week. It has a nice array of options from greasy, kill your hangover type food to some healthy options. I got a veggie pita and it was great. I'd definitely go back. Linda & her husband have killer memories. I took an alumnus who was a few years out here and she still knew his name and major. Her and her husband were so nice. They're a big part of the charm. Lastly, Linda's is cheap and you can enjoy your grub in the lovely revitalized Clark Park. read more

USP's campus is NOT known for its wide selection in eatery options, but the one place you don't want to miss is Linda's Cart. Almost EVERYONE on campus has tried this cart at least once and more times then not has been hooked there on after wards. Faculty, local workers and especially students cannot get enough of the flavor-loaded cooking, speedy service and unbeatable prices right in the heart of USP's campus ( which is of course, minuscule). Linda's Menu options include everything from your typical morning bagel/muffin/coffee options to omelets, sandwiches, gyros, pitas, hot dogs and much more. The average price for a lunch item is about $6.. and the small coffee is only 75 cents (but it wakes you RIGHT up for morning lectures) She and her husband (Neil) make the food right there and the ingredients always taste fresh. The best part about Linda is that she has an insane memory and although her lunch time rush usually involves about 20 orders at once, she can remember all of them. AND If you order from her once, there's a good chance she will remember you (and your order) when you come back again( even if its weeks or months later)! If you are in the neighborhood you have to stop and try Linda's Cart for yourself. There is no sign leading the way just look for the giant crowd of students surrounding a little silver cart or the delicious aroma you can smell from blocks away. read more

Man oh man do I love Linda's Cart!!!! Linda and Neil are on campus every weekday bright and early and stay well til after lunch time. They have such a great variety, but my favorites are sausage and egg over rice and the jt special. Their sandwiches and burgers are also very good. The cart is made to order so it takes longer than the other carts nearby but it is always worth the wait. They also accept Venmo which is a plus!! read more

This cart is located just adjacent to the university of the sciences main campus. I have eaten here practically every weekday for the past couple years. That being said, this place speaks for itself. While I may have a coronary at the age of 30, this food is very tasty. Also, Linda and Neil, the two people who own the cart remember everything. They know me by name, ask about class, ask about dance lessons, etc. They also remember my typical order so it is pretty nice to walk up and say, "Hey Linda I'll have my usual." I'd like to emphasize though that this circumstance is not unique to me. Their memories are so sharp, they seem to know every and everyone's usual orders. One thing I do have to complain about however is the variability in prices. Like I said before, I typically go there every day and unfortunately, have probably spent several thousand dollars there. It is not uncommon for my typical order, 2 milks, 2 egg sandwiches, a juice, and maybe a bagel to cost anywhere from $7-10. Since prices are calculated by mental math, anything over 2-3 items I feel is usually "guestimated". I have talked to several other students and they say it is pretty much the same thing for them. I'm still giving this place five stars because I love the food, I love Linda and Neil and I plan on continuing to eat here until I graduate. Also, it is pretty much the only shop in town. Sudexo (the school cafeteria) is horrible. The other carts are ok but none hold a candle to "Linda's Cart." read more

My dads know Linda and Neil for 30 years+ and ive known them since birth. Great people great food all they want is to make the costumer happy and keep the line flowing. Always quick with food and always a delight to talk to. Neil is underrated often cooking his heart out and listening to his wife at the same time. He's a great guy and a great chef. Linda on the other hand knows how to run things and she can remember a face and name in her head forever and your order! Located in clark park since the Paleolithic era, Linda has been slinging sandwiches to stressed U*sigh students with unmatched prowess for 20+ years. Offering everything from sandwiches, to chicken nuggets, to gyro's there is something on Linda's menu for everyone. Not only is the menu expansive, the food is great! Usciences is not a particularly politically active school, but when Sodexo asked Linda to leave the entire student body came together to protect Linda's, even going so far as to make T-shirts and get the newspaper involved. Bonus point- Linda knows the student test schedules better than some of the students do. read more
