They told me the issue was a misfire with the ignition coils and spark plugs, so I bought the recommended parts. I don't have a negative opinion of that first location, just nothing especially worth reviewing. Unfortunately, some of the tools I picked up didn't end up fitting my vehicle, which was frustrating. Considering it's about that time to get them switched out anyways, I decided to keep the spark plugs and coils to bring to a private mechanic. I stopped by this AutoZone location to see if I could return the rest. One of the items was typically non-returnable, so I wasn't sure what kind of response I'd get. Thankfully, the manager, Nathan, and the team member who helped me, Jose, went above and beyond. They listened to my situation, made an exception, and processed my return with zero hassle. They were understanding, respectful, and genuinely cared about making things right, something that's not always guaranteed when dealing with auto shops. I usually feel a little out of place in stores like this, but their kindness and professionalism made all the difference. They didn't just make the return easy, they made me feel seen and valued during a stressful situation. That kind of service stands out and absolutely deserves recognition.

After we were home awhile, my son looked at a video about the work that would need to use that part for, then he told me "Mom, that part isn't going to work," and he continued to explain why. The part was unopened and I kept the receipt. I can't remember why it took me so long to return, I'm never like that, (we live in Burns) so about a month ago I took back. They opened the box and said "absolutely." I almost fell over. I also with the return money bought new wipers and the dear young man asked me if I would like him to put them on. I said, " can you please?" He again said yes. And he did, it probably took him MAYBE 5, 6 minutes!!!! I will go back there always when I need something for my car. I did Customer Service for OVER 30 yrs B4 I retired. So I'm VERY aware of it WHERE ever I go, it's very obvious to me these young men LIKE their job VERY much. I would tell you to there FIRST. I took it to 4 places in town each telling me it was something different or recommending a certain service that would be needed. Long story short I ended up here. Communication is no bs- no fluff- no sales pitch. I appreciate that. It was refreshing to have someone talk to me about what was happening with my vehicle without feeling like I had to weed through intentions and sales. Maybe not the best social skills when it comes to customer service but I'd rather have an honest and knowledgeable repairman that tells me like it is any day of the week. I recommend and will always go back.

My wife's truck had a bunch of lights on on the dashboard. We called and spoke to Tom who wanted to know exactly which lights were on.
