Got take out from them several times. Everything pretty average and sometimes below average. Got cold sesame noodles for take out and a "brick" of cold noodles was in a container w/ a few shards of carrot and onion, plus 2 sauce containers of peanut sauce that was pretty thick and congealed. I pay for food but I have to assemble it and mix the ingredients? No thanks. Go a mile down to Origin Thai for excellent Thai food if one is craving Asian food in that area. read more

The chinese food is okay. The restaurant is in a nice location and there's lot of eating area and space for guests. I really like the duck sauce and crispy noodles which they give before serving your meal. The waiter was also kind. Not bad. read more

Wow! I can't get over the relatively poor ratings for Ling Ling Riverwalk. I went that upon the suggestion from a friend (who also loves the place) and was extremely pleased with the service and the food. I was treated like a king from the moment I walked in and the food was delicious. The employees treated me as if I was a long-lost family member and went out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied from the moment I arrived until I left. My only "complaint" (if it could be called that) is that they don't have any combo-plates. As a single person, it would be nice to have a greater variety of things available when dining alone. So my family has gone to Ling Lings for years and we usually pickup. We went inside the restaurant for the first time and it was great! I needed a charger for my phone and they let me use one! Also, the food was amazing and came out in minutes. Great place would defiantly recommend. read more

Horrible food!!!! That's the only thing I can say. My first time in this restaurant and the LAST!!!! I stopped by after my son's soccer game as we were craving for Chinese food. A steamed dumpling, a veg dish and a chicken dish for lunch costed $34 (with $4 tip). Kids could not eat even one dumpling. My tofu was very chew and bad. Chicken was disgusting. I don't mind spending money, but we should get some worth out of it., Even when the staff saw dishes left as such when they came to pick up dishes, they did not even ask once how was the food. Staff was not polite at all. This guy received us with a sad face. I will never go back or recommend it to anyone. read more

Good food, a little pricey for what you get. I'd use it for take-out, but NOT for eat in. Waiter had better things to do than take care of the few customers that were present. I think this was the first Chinese eatery that fed 4 adults with NO doggie bags for leftovers. A good sign that portions were sub-standard in size. BAD tea. First let me start with the service! This place sucks and they take forever to get my food. There is an annoying lady who goes by Cathy, she is crazy and so unwelcoming. Once the food eventually comes, it is below average and makes me feeling oozy afterwards. There is a chain smoker named Jackie, and he does not know how to treat his customers. There is also this bus boy who knows absolutely no english and spills water every time he pours it. All in all, with the shitty food and service this is a definite no go for locals. read more

Consistently good food with excellent service. The staff is friendly and pleasant to all customers. The turnaround time is fantastic. When I call in an order, I can leave right away to go pick it up, and it's ready and waiting for me upon arrival - still hot! Their food is not greasy like some other Chinese restaurants. The vegetables they use - particularly their green beans and bok choy - taste fresh, and are prepared to still be a bit firm and crunchy, which is much more palatable than too wilted or over-steamed. I recommend their beef with green beans and hot peppers - delicious! read more

What can I say, "Eek! Methinks not" pretty much sums it up. When you walk in, be expected to meet Cathy, total crazy lady, but she's funny. So thats good. But once you sit down, and try the tea, you're gonna wanna dump it back. NOT A FAN. The food is greasy, and gross at best. The wait staff is very unwelcoming, and borderline mean. Something bad has happened to this place. The service is great for takeout and everyone's very friendly at the desk, HOWEVER, the food is just AWFUL and TASTELESS. I don't expect a lot when it comes to chinese, but this is completely and utterly unedible. I ordered take out a few weeks ago (chicken and broccoli)...It was very bland so I had to doctor it up when I got home - had to add a ton of spices to get it where I wanted it and to add some flavor - I thought it was just an "off night" for them because I've heard they are good. I ordered the same thing a week later and still the same...BLAND. I waited awhile to go back there and only went back last night because I was too lazy to drive elsewhere and WOW, it was EVEN WORSE than the other 2 times. I got "spicy" chicken and eggplant and to my disappointment, there were no spices, not even mildly spicy and there was no flavor whatsoever. I had to doctor it up again in a pan and add the simplest of spices, but that's not the worst part...I ended up having to throw it all away anways because the eggplant was strangely just a big pile of mush amongst the chicken....it was actually so gross I couldn't even eat it. In my 39 years, I've never had to throw away chinese...ever. We also ordered spare ribs and those had NO flavor...they looked SO good, but it's not that hard to put a good sauce on them...unreal. We also ordered tangerine chicken and it came deeply fried and breaded (it didn't say breaded on menu). Anyways, that was ok, we decided to give it a try anyways and it was completely unedible as well...we bit into at least 3 different pieces of the chicken and had grizzle and just fatty breading in our mouth..we both looked at each other and couldn't believe just how bad it was...it was such a joke. We threw away $40 bucks worth of chinese. We ended up splitting the 4 spare ribs because were were hungry...edible, but bland. This was the LAST time we'll ever go there. Something has gone really wrong there. We challenge the owners and staff to eat their own food. read more
