This place is definitely lives up to the hype from any socials you may have seen. The pieces are thick and the quantity is AYCE. It definitely worth the drive to get here and try out what they have to offer. Service is good. They let you know how to order and how many comes per order. They'll definitely do the math for you if you don't know if you ordered to little or to much. Place is a bit smaller than expected, given how big the portions are, but what they lack in occupancy, they make up for in the huge portions you get. I have had Lin's book marked to try after seeing my fellow Yelper's enjoyed their experience here. The other day I saw Lin's had a free Birthday Meal on their IG page and viola a date was set! The interior and patio feel relaxed and a bit festive. The menu has a good selection of sushi and non sushi items. I just wanted to give a shout out to our waitress for being so sweet and kind. She's the lady with short hair. The other staff were also nice. My husband and I wanted to come here for the AYCE oysters and deep fried crab. They didn't disappoint. Everything else we had was also good. Very well worth the AYCE price. The menu doesn't offer as much variety of food and drinks as other AYCE Japanese restaurants, but for what they do have, it makes up for it. We came on a Saturday at around 11:30am. Lin's Garden is an amazing ayce sushi place for the quality, selection, and prices. We came at 5:30 PM on Saturday night and were sat immediately. The servers were very nice and friendly. We were a party of two and ordered too much. One thing to know that the nigiris and sashimis come with two pieces per order, so be careful when ordering. They are also very thick and big pieces too! I do wish there was a little less rice on the nigiris. My favorite items that I will definitely be ordering when I come back are: Wacko tacko, galbi, salmon tar tar, otoro, blue fin, sake otoro, fresh oysters, pepper fin, and seared steak. Lin's Garden is a small restaurant that accommodates a fair amount of people. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The AYCE option at the current price, $39, is unbeatable with what they offer. Celebrated Chinese New Year w/ Sushi [Roseville CA] Our party of 20 occupied two long tables, we were placed in the center which worked out well. Unlike some AYCE Japanese restaurants some of us were able to order a la carte (instead of AYCE). I ordered the Lion King baked sushi and this satisfied me the entire evening and it was delicious. The staff who handled our party did an excellent job and they were also able to accommodate separate checks without any issues. Thanks to Kim! I went during lunch time and it wasn't too busy. I was seated right away and I chose the hot tea. I really enjoyed the hot tea. I got the Lins roll with scallop and lemon and I surprisingly enjoyed it. I don't remember the name of the other roll because I asked my server to recommend but I thought it was good as well. These were half rolls which was nice because it allowed me to try more items without getting too full so I recommend getting half rolls. A group of 20 of us had dinner at Lin's Garden to celebrate Chinese New Year. I walk in a it spacious and nice inside they also have an outdoor patio I'd you want to enjoy you meal outside. The owner brought a giant complimentary sushi boat to each our groups tables that is so generous and thoughtful. The sushi was so fresh and delicious I could stop eating. This place is AYCE Sushi spot and the price is fantastic! $37.99 per person I did buy a $17 bottle of Sake to enjoy with my food. I think with tax and tip my bill was $66.00 I ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, hamachi, assortment sashimi, Sea Steaks, oysters, scallop nigiri, unagi the list goes on. Everything I ate was so delicious this is probably one of the best Sushi restaurants I've been to in the Sacramento area hands down. I would definitely have dinner here again. We came shortly after opening and got seated quickly. It was Sunday so it was their dinner buffet pricing. The menu has lots of appetizers and couple entrees. The sushi menu has some sashimi, nigiri, maki, and lots of rolls. The rolls can be ordered as a half roll. When it's not busy, the food comes out fast and ordering is easy. But once the rush comes it, it takes a while to order more and for the sushi to come out. Recommend ordering a lot early on to avoid waiting for the next round. Plus theirs no limit to ordering. The saba nigiri was alright, it didn't really taste as fresh. Downside was no ikura nigiri included but the oysters and daily sashimi specials make up for it! They do give a lil bigger portion of rice for the nigiri so be a little cautious. We did try one roll which was good. You can order half order rolls if needed. As for the sashimi appetizers they all have the same sauce/style. The tako sashimi appetizer was a bit chewy. Overall the food was good for the price. Got to try Lin's Garden recently! I kept getting videos of the food and it looked delicious so I had to try for myself too. I was worried that we got there too late around 7PM and we would have to wait a long time for a table, but they still had a few more open spots! Our first order was taken quickly and the workers always came by to ask if we want to order more. The first order was the fastest to come out. It took about 10 minutes and the sashimi platter was beautifully presented. However, every sashimi order after that took around 25 to 30 minutes. This is most likely because they have too much demand and not enough employees at the bar assembling the orders. The fresh oysters are a must have and I got a few rounds of it. It was my first time having otoro bluefin sashimi and it was so melt in your mouth buttery. The appetizers came out very fast, but we had to wait too long for the fish to come out. Our last order of yellowtail was very stringy and did not look appetizing, which put us off. One of us doesn't really do sushi but the AYCE included chicken teriyaki and other appetizers so we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! We are sushi snobs so we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish. They even had blue fin, fatty tuna and fatty salmon and you could also get sashimi. Good value with variety. Not the most authentic or delicious Chinese or Japanese food I've had, but enjoyable enough to satiate you. I didn't stay long enough or order enough to experience much of the menu, but I will update my review when I dine again. These were the most enjoyable lunch buffet items for me: * Vegetable Tempura * Salmon Nigiri * Red Snapper Nigiri * Unagi Nigiri Miso Soup had scallions, tofu, and wakame seaweed. Every time I try to find an alternative to Its Sushi, I always end up regretting my decision. This place was by far the worst all you can eat experience I have ever participated in and witnessed. The only good part of this is that the food, whatever you get, is actually mostly good. The problem is the service is absolutely terrible. You can tell they hired friends and family to act as servers instead of people who know how the service industry works. Let's start on getting seated. It took literally 25 minutes after being seated to get a menu and waters. Same with the people who were already seated next to us....we spoke to them and they got menus, no waters, and about 15 mins had passed with them just sitting there. When our server eventually got to us to get us waters, she tried to run off without taking our order. Knowing how incredibly inefficient they are based on just watching the servers going around, I stopped her and said we need to put in our order. She reluctantly accepted and took my order. Again, after speaking with other patrons I knew it was going to be a problem so I ordered pretty much everything we wanted at once. I was warned that the sushi bar was backed up and it may take a while, but I was in it at this point. She had the nerve to tell me that 8 pieces of nigiri and 8 pieces of sashimi was too much per person. I promised it her it wouldn't be too much and if I wasted, I will pay double the entire tab. During our 2.5 hour meal, we got to put in one total order. Why? Because the servers were so massively inefficient and incompetent. Kitchen is backed up and you have 3 tables to take an order from that have been sitting there for 25 minutes? Why not use all 3 servers to clear 3 more tables to seat more people! That's smart! Need water and so does the table next to you? Let's get waters for one table, walk back to the kitchen, then get more, then ask the next table if they want water, go back and get more....you get the picture. We witnessed several tables just leave after placing orders because it took so long. Then the restaurant was surprised when they made food for a table that was no longer there. Imagine if the servers knew what orders were placed and filled. Then maybe that wouldn't happen right guys? Overall, the food was very good and the fish appeared to be very fresh. The sushi/sashimi is actually kind of off putting though due to the size. Its like they thought "hey these Americans eat alot of food, let's just make the sushi 3 times the size! That will help!" But it doesn't. It might sound like a good idea, but eating a 3 Oz block of fish is actually kind of overwhelming. All of the nigiri takes multiple bites to eat because its so massive. Not one bite like how sushi is supposed to be eaten. I know the pictures don't give you an idea of the scale, but its crazy. The price was $36.99 on the weekends all day. During the week it is a bit less. It had a good selection of appetizers and rolls. The BEST thing was BBQ Tuna. None of the AYCE sushi I have ever been to have ever had this as a selection and you get 4 FAT pieces. Next time, I think I will just get mostly that! The rolls are HUGE loaded with a lot of rice but small in circumference which makes it difficult to get a variety. I wish they would do half rolls like Raku. The Nigiri was good with not a huge amount of rice, but more than Its Sushi. The fish was fresh. The tempura was very tasty. Service was on point. Friendly and attentive but not in your face. Wait time was good. Really enjoyed my meal for the price. I've had better but I had to pay more. This is a good middle ground. Good overall selection. I was a bit skeptical about a Chinese/ Japanese place. I think restaurants should stick with one or the other. I decided to check this restaurant out though, as I saw there is a 15% off offer (on Instagram). There is interior and exterior seating. Outside, there is a nice tree covering. Apparently, they started doing AYCE. We decided to do that since it seemed to be a good value. We stuck with Japanese items and ordered several appetizers and nigiri. The sushi chef came over and also told us he will cut some special fish for us since they just started the new menu. He even gave us some uni. I'm usually not big fan of uni, but it was yummy. Service was friendly. They did mess up our order though. The wrong items were brought out. When we ordered the second time, the food didn't come out. We asked our waitress and she had to check. This is such a gem for AYCE! The are located in the BevMo/Sprouts plaza so parking can be tough when it's busy. The decor and ambiance of the place is very clean and nicely decorated. The interior looks newly renovated! We came in on a Friday during lunch rush hour. The place was packed! I anticipated that service might be slow but I was wrong. Our server came over promptly, warmly greeted us, and began taking our orders. Food began to come out fassst! We ordered a total of about 6 rounds but each time, the food came out fast and fresh! The food was fantastic!! All the rolls we tried were beautifully made, using ultra fresh ingredients and they didn't skimp on the portions like many AYCE places. I was very happy with the food quality. There were a few things I didn't care for, but totally personal preference - the stuffed jalapeños and popcorn chicken just didn't do it for me. Finally had the chance to try Lin's Garden Ayce dinner with some friends this past Friday. We arrived around 6:30 PM and we were seated immediately. The place isn't super huge so I would come earlier to ensure you don't wait too long for a table. (Esp for dinner!) It filled up quickly after we arrived. We ordered a bunch of nigiri's to try and they were all really good. Except they do have a lot of rice! I'm used to Pier 50 or it's sushi where the rice is barely there! I will say the quality of the fish here is insane. Super super fresh and my god it's so fatty! I've never had a place with unlimited O-Toro sashimi for ayce. This place is super worth is if you're all about sashimi. They also had a huge variety of other stuff, all pretty decent. I knocked a star down because I ordered teriyaki chicken and it was raw. First time at Lin'd Garden and will be back. The service was superb, friendly staff willing to answer all questions and attentive. The food arrived fast and was yummy. The only thing I wish is that they had more specialty rolls as some of them seemed to be similar to each other. We did enjoy all the things we ordered. I asked and they mentioned that you can order half orders of the rolls which I will be doing next time so I'm not full as fast! read more

Came here on a Friday right before the Friday night rush, The service was exceptional, all of the staff were super attentive even during the rush, always checking to see if we needed anything. The food was fresh and made to order, I loved that we can order half rolls to ensure we don't waste any food if we couldn't finish a full roll. Normally, I don't do AYCE but my friend held his event here so I decided to try Lin's. Everything was good, I like that you can order anything from sushi to Chinese food and dessert is included as well. The service was good despite the fact the place was full on a Sunday night. Every seat in the restaurant was filled, and there were people waiting to dine as well, which I thought was awesome since this is a small business. I loved the teriyaki salmon, chicken fried rice, veggie tempura, cucumber sushi and house salad and there was a roll I tried that my friend ordered that I liked as well and that was delish too.
