We stopped in for lunch as this is my dad's favorite and he lives in Nevada. I ordered a turkey however I did not know that cheese they put on there is melted. I just wish they would have said it. It was more like a nacho cheese not really a fan. My son's mac & cheese was very hot. He was not able to eat it for quite a while. A few times he burned his mouth. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very kind. They were having some weird conversations talking about testosterone and things. My family loves Lion's Choice, and we order here often. I have always been happy with the food, but that's true of any Lion's Choice. This one is the worst I've ever seen. Their website doesn't work properly half the time, so too bad if you want to order online and then pick it up when it's ready. Also, even when the website does work, they still can't always manage to get your order right. And why are they so chintzy with the BBQ sauce, which these sandwiches really need? If it's made of gold or something, then maybe they should charge for it. Instead, they typically give you half the number you ask for, or less. We usually get the large sandwiches, and one tiny packet of sauce for each sandwich is not nearly enough, but they really hate to part with their sauce. You'd think the cost of the packets is taken out of their paychecks or something! Maybe they should bottle the sauce and sell it in grocery stores, like some other restaurants do. At least that way, we wouldn't have to put them out by asking for it at the restaurant. If you love Lion's Choice, I strongly urge you to go to any location but this one. I assume this is a franchise, and each one has a different owner. This owner clearly doesn't care at all. read more

I am a huge fan of Lion's Choice and their roast beef is always good! However, this trip their fries were just sub par. Some of the fries were hard as a rock which was a big bummer. The staff were super friendly and got our food out fast. The ketchup was out and I had to ask for au jus cups, special seasoning packets along with ketchup. The place was clean and well kept. If time allows, we like to go to the Wentzville location as they always have better tasting fries in general but they are little further from our house. read more

I have always loved Lions choice, I stayed away from this particular one for a long time because of the way I was treated by an employee who worked there. I have no idea if she still works there or not, but hopefully not. I decided to venture back there a week ago. I walked in to place my order, the lady behind the counter smiled as I walked in, she spoke first, she took my order and was so kind, asked me if I was sure I didn't want a cookie... Of course I did, but I'm trying not to eat that Sugary stuff.! The restaurant was clean and the patrons in there all had their food so no one was sitting and waiting. Always visit this location when I come back to Stl in my hometown of Ofallon. I always order 2 or 3 roast beef sandwiches with Swiss and extra seasoning medium rare (the way Lions already has cooked to perfection) please note if you don't like medium rare you can always have it cooked more but medium rare to me is perfect sometimes I'll order some of the other great items but the roast beef beats the competition by far This location has been nicely remodeled recently and I love it. read more

We were on our way through St. Louis and want to eat something quick but not a traditional fast food chain. My husband is from upstate New York and loves a good roast beef sandwich so we decided to try it. My husbands words "I would be eating here a lot if I lived here". Really good, tender roast beef. I liked that they had several sauces you can try (two different bbq, chipotle ranch, horseradish and hot au jus). I had an original and my husband had the next size up. Then just now, I was first surprised to see the underpants of the cashier at the window on display during my transaction of money and food. I rarely if ever get bad service at this location! The food is to be expected out of lions choice but I am definitely pleased with the consistent good service! I come here during lunch on work days and rarely sit longer than 5 minutes in total in the drive thru! Order has never been wrong either! Can't say that about a lot of fast food chains. read more

I love some lions choice on a very rare occasion. Went tonight bc it was just sounding so good. Asked for my fries well done bc that, with their honey mustard is amaaazing. The girl at the counter who wasn't very personable says they don't so well done fries anymore. Really!? So I say fine (what else am I doing at that point, it's already on my mind AND I'm already there). I get my food and go home to eat. Fries are LIMP and soggy. If I'm paying that much for food, I'll go to chick fila. where you get treated like a guest and the food is made to my request. read more

Delicious......................one of the best discoveries I have made since moving to St. Louis is Lion's Choice......they don't have them anywhere else that I have ever lived and I seriously could eat here at least once a week.......The staff were friendly and chatty here---we ate inside and enjoyed the chatter and banter with them. Aweful service. The guy in drive thru was rude. He didn't ask for phone number for rewards. He was annoyed when I mentioned it. I asked for extra ketchup. I got 3 packs for 2 combo meals. I don't know if it's because I grew up eating Arby's but this just isn't for me. I do like that they have more selection for their side options. However, to me the meat is cut far to thick. I like it nice and thin. I remember having their green beans the one time I ate there and for some reason they seemed super salty. This is coming from a salt-oholic. A great choice! The best place to grab a quick bite at the 70 & K/M interchange. The parking can be tight, seating limited, but the food is so good. Nothing close to it can be found in Northern CA where I relocated to. The au jus is thick, the service friendly, and you can get your beef rare. read more

Great real roast beef sandwiches for sure but I think part of the greatness of Lion's Choice is the management. They are on top if it! Even when they are super busy the line moves quick. It can get a little cramped in the dining room & the parking lot though. I love the condiments bar - hot aus jus, horseradish, 2 different bbq sauces, chipotle ranch, & of course, ketchup and on your table there's a salt shaker with the roast beef seasoning. I like to put it on my fries. No trip to Lion's Choice is complete without getting the little $.25 cone (or $.50 if you get it chocolate dipped) & now they have flavor twists that you can get in your ice cream for no extra charge! Ate here again on the way out of town from a Thanksgiving visit. Again, it never disappoints. There are those who like to antagonize me for eating at "Arby's 2.0"...but for the love of food; this is anything but that. Arby's serves you processed meat byproduct that has food coloring added in. I should know, as I worked in the warehouse that distributed the stuff. It's literally the pink slime that Beef Products out of South Dakota uses to make McDonald's and Sonic burger patties. When you go to lion's choice; you get regionally procured beef that is cooked to medium rare, shaved thin, proprietarily spiced, and piled on a butter toasted bun or hoagie. It's heaven in a sandwich. Add a slice of swiss? Perfection. It's great by itself, with honey mustard, ranch, or their aus jus. If you need a quick meal and you happen to be in the STL area; this is the chain to hit the drive through for an amazing meal. read more
