They did exactly what they promised at a time I couldn't do my own laundry due to COVID. Picked up my sheets, delivered them back on the same day within the promised time frame. Everything was clean and nicely folded. It was a bit pricey (over 70 bucks for everything, including a duvet cover, pillowcases, and an extra blanket in addition to bedsheets), but I was willing to pay the premium to get everything back same day. would recommend if you're in a tight spot! read more

I use Liox regularly for my dry cleaning and wash/fold. They are great! Always super communicative and they follow my instructions carefully. Sherry in particular has been super helpful, and I really appreciate being able to communicate via text. To date I have not lost any clothes with them which isn't always the case with these types of services. Delivery laundry is definitely a luxury but the timeliness and occasional promotional rewards make it a good value for me. read more

Had a delivery scheduled to drop off laundry at 10am. As I write this, it's been 8 hrs past with no one contacting me with a reason why. Phone customer service was an absolute joke as I tried calling the number on the website and here on Yelp many times with no answer and their voicemail full. Why they even have a phone number listed if no one picks up is down right baffling. Emailed them also with no reply. There are way too many laundry delivery services in nyc to have to deal with a laundry service as unprofessional as Liox. I'll definitely be looking elsewhere next time. read more

Very convenient, but over priced. Home cleaning was terrible -- didn't clean the bathroom (which is most of the reason most people get a cleaning service). Even purchased the "premium" service, but ended up having to scrub the soap scum off my shower floor before my guests arrive since the cleaning person didn't touch the bath. read more

I have been deployed to New York City in Manhattan, away from my home, for several months. A friend of mine referred me to Liox and since then I always use their Wash and Fold Laundry Services. They are awesome, professional and always on point. I leave my cloths at the front desk of my hotel and when I walk back, they are there ready for me to pick up again, the same day! Customer service is awful. I had a wash and fold pickup that returned with missing shirts. When I contacted them they were unresponsive, after following up they told me they wouldn't charge me for the overweight bag. If you care about your clothing I would not recommend them. read more

My first concern was price, but I was just barley under the minimum and they have me a discount as a first time customer which basically covered the tip. My second concern was the pickup/drop off. I was very happy to find this laundry service. I usually use a drop off laundry place when I am visiting NYC. It usually take a long time and I have to walk block carrying loads of laundry. When I googled Laundry service Liox came up and had great reviews. I decided I would try them since they offered a pick up and drop off. It was easy to order the service. NEVER USE THIS LAUNDRY SERVICE. The first time I used them they delivered the laundry at the wrong time, Left it unattended outside the main door of my building where anyone could take it, and then text me insulting me saying I was "able to receive the laundry but not pay my bill"at 7am before I was even awake and knew they left the laundry outside and at the totally wrong drop off time. They apologized profusely for the inappropriate and inaccurate accusations made and offered me a discount blah blah blah. So, I had 20$ credit from that incident, and a $10 coupon off my second wash, that I tried to use last Friday. Well this experience was even worse. They picked up the laundry, and immediately text me saying "the bag is too heavy and needs to be split into two bags, we can provide two Liox Laundry bags at a 12$ charge. I said no I don't need two bags, if the one bag I sent is too stuffed just add one Liox bag and use the bag I sent it in. Then for 4 days they kept texting me over and over and running the $80 fee on my debit card in excess of 40 times. And for some reason, although there was funds available in my account there system kept getting an error. I called them back numerous times and called my bank and they held my laundry for 4 days longer than it was supposed to be delivered until the charge went through. THEN, they finally get there system to process my payment, and deliver my laundry, but it's only one bag, they forgot to bring half of what I sent. They never deducted the $10 coupon and they left the clean laundry falling out of a ripped plastic bag when they dropped it off. Horrifying. Terrible customer service, lied about the amount of laundry and removed a coupon, charged for a laundry bag they never gave me and delivered the laundry 4 days late because there system is screwed up, and lost half my laundry in the process. read more

Great job, seamless and easy customer service. I was able to schedule through the app and my laundry was picked up from my apartment and delivered back in the same day with no hassle. Most importantly, my clothes were all clean and nicely folded. I am allergic to Tide and I think most other detergents don't do a great job, so I was delighted to find that Liox allows me to provide my own detergent to use AND they do hang dry laundry (which is about half my laundry). For the past few years, I've been doing my own laundry in my building's laundry room and it is an absolute joy to have clothes that aren't covered with hairs from someone else's dog from the dryer-and to have sheets that are properly folded. I have a scheduled pick up for 4-6 today (it is past 6:00). They are still not here. I am upset with this company because they do not look after their customers or keep their word... Edit: It wasn't until 8:47 when I was able to reach a point for Gary to come and pick up my laundry. He was the only one to have made a concerted effort. Sergey did not bother to respond to further messages. There should be a disclaimer or a text sent out that the timeframe the customer chooses is not definitive or that there is too much work for one person to pick up due to external events like weather. I would have happily rescheduled for another time or maybe even the next day. Despite the allotted timeframe for pickup being 2 hours long! There was no communication made to Gary. So when he came to pick up my laundry at 6:50 I was already on my way to an appointment. Which I guess maybe I was in the wrong for not being there despite specifically booking this pick up for 4-6 so as to not get in the way of this appointment, but I guess that doesn't matter these days. I really hope that this company can work on their communication with their employees. Because no one is above their employees, and all of them should be treated with respect. That is the only way that you can then excel with your customer service. Edit: I just received an email that my order was cancelled. Someone already came to pick up my laundry? Can someone please reach out to me. I just don't know what's going on at this point. Final Edit: Received an invoice. I personally believe I should have been given some sort of compensation, but I am not in the mood to get into that sort of predicament. Gary was really good. The clothes are nice and clean. I been using Liox services for a few months, and service usually is been good. Last time I had their laundry service, they dropped two extra bags aren't mine. Tried to call many, many, many times and it's imposible to reach them by phone. Then, I emailed them to let them know I had someone's else laundry. After a couple hours a driver picked up my clothing. Today, my laundry is lost! Again, I been trying to reach them by phone and email without any success. Their slogan says "Service - Satisfaction Guaranteed". That's a lie. Sadly, I will stop using their services. [UPDATE] Family business owner directly message me to explain the reason of the delayed. Was a great service, albeit overpriced, for a while. Now they wont return my clothes! Delivery was scheduled Sunday night and no show. I called back. Delivery was scheduled Monday night and no show. They are expensive (like $2.09 per pound). Scheduled pickup for Sunday after 5 PM. Right at the expected time for pickup, was told it wouldn't be picked up due to an city event in the morning. A little bad planning, but OK. Agreed to pickup next day, and received confirmation. Next day, nobody showed up until the end of the pickup window. No message about it. I sent a message, did not hear for about 10 minutes, so I left for a dinner appointment. Then, a few minutes later, someone tried to pick it up. Then, they keep trying to pick it up at random times the next day, with no request/confirmation from me. I had to ask to remove me from their database. This is the second cleaning service with bad pickup service. Will try the next one on my list. There has to be one in NY that works, or I'll do the laundry myself in my building. read more
