This atmosphere at this place is amazing...the drag queens milling around are beautiful and know how to WORK IT. Come take your bachelorette party or birthday pictures here. Sparkles!!! However, I'm not sure if it was just our server or all the performing queens who were servers but the service was really not that great. She took forever to take our drink order and never came back after taking our food order. Felt a little abandoned, we had to flag someone else down for water for the table (since water wasn't automatically provided) and the person brought a pitcher of water that wasn't enough for the 8 of us at the table to fill our glasses once) and never brought more. Also the kitchen closes at 11...definitely keep this in mind if you made later reservations to see the show, our server never told us this (but they never came back) and someone in our party was never able to order the dish they wanted. This is a restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, it was very good and I really especially enjoyed the peach pork chop and macaroni cheese The cocktails leave a lot to be desired... basically just juice. Cute names though. The drag show at the end was lovely. One or two of the performers were pretty low energy but the other queens BROUGHT IT! The hostess was amazing and funny. I had a good time at Lips. It was my first time there and we had a large group for my friend and I birthday celebration. We were sat all the way on the left side ( not the bar side). The entertainers never came to our side while performing. The service was ok. After waiting 20 minutes after everyone recieved their dishes, I was told they ran out of my dish but one magically came out and my waitress grabbed it for me. The food was delicious! I did the birthday celebration with the crown and dessert. I had to go on stage and it was hilarious!!! The host was literally the best part of the show. She kept us laughing the entire time. If you go, make sure you have at least $60 -$75 for entry, food and tips. That doesn't include if you are waiting adult drinks lol. It was a good time. I would like to go to the Sunday show. Our server came right over and explained their dinner menu which includes 3 courses they start off with a Cesar salad, next is your choice of entree and then they end with little dessert sample trays. Went for Saturday brunch. The queens are amazing! The food was not. There was a queen with a short blonde blunt wig who did a performance to a Pink song. The joy radiating from that performer was next level - really fantastic to watch! Beautiful beautiful atmosphere, great performances for the most part - but I didn't like how the audience was kind of forced to be part of the show depending on who was performing and where you're sitting. I like to watch a show - not be part of it. And I know a lot people like that, but I do not. One queen at the end singing last dance encouraged everyone to stand up and dance. It made me uncomfortable because there are just so many people recording on phones and there was no way to stay out of recordings once the queen has everyone stand up. One queen, Charlie Brown, seemed more angry than funny. So that was kind of a strange vibe. There is a lot of emphasis on getting there on time. We did, but then it took a long time for the show to start. It's so dark in there/ hard to see your food. It's pretty much impossible to get condiments like ketchup or hot sauce in any time of timely manner. I don't think this is really the fault of the queens/servers since they're pulling double duty. But the food runners RUN away before you can ask for anything. And the food is wasn't very good so condiments would have been helpful. I would go back for the show, but not the food. I recently reserved space for 5 for dinner on a Wednesday night for the "Twisted Broadway" show. I was not sure about going on a Wednesday, as I'd only ever gone on a weekend but I had guests visiting from Brazil and really wanted them to have the experience. WOW, was I blown away! This show was absolutely amazing from start to end. The entertainers were great and so full of energy. Brigitte Bidet was the host and she was effortlessly funny and a fantastic performer but all of the performers were awesome. On top of the entertainment, we had the steak, the ravioli and the salmon and all were delicious. At the end the performers were gracious and posed for photos and really helped end the evening on a special note. My Brazilian friends had nothing but praise and it was a highlight of their trip. Such a great place to celebrate your birthday or bachelorette party! The interior is over the top disco glam and I wouldn't change a thing about it. The entertainment is definitely worth the price. This was disappointing, especially for the amount of money paid. Let me begin by saying, if you are a large group for a birthday party and/or bachelorette party, are drunk before or during the show, you will have a wonderful time because y'all will be oblivious to all of the misteps. Service is slow and your server will forget about you. We waited almost 15 minutes before our server even came to our table once seated. We were missing water glasses and it took another 15 mins to get them. Once arrived, one glass had lipstick on the rim and the glass was cracked. I went up to the bar to ask for another glass. The bartender yelled for a server. That server asked what was wrong, I explained and showed her. A second server asked where I was sitting and dismissed me. A few minutes later I had a new glass. Our reservation stated we were celebrating an anniversary. They have an anniversary package and I was told to remind my server. The server asked if we were celebrating anything, I said anniversary. Nothing. They never gave us the package. They serve a cesar salad and no one asks about food allergies, dietary restrictions, etc. No offers of any substitutes. When we ordered our entrees, I stated I had an allergy. Instead of just leaving off what I was allergic to, they left off everything else that was supposed to come with the dish. It wasn't premixed or anything like that. Just nothing. At the end of the evening, they tried to automatically charge gratuity for our table of two. When challenged, I received pushback from a server. I asked to speak with a manager. I will tip, but not if it is already charged (less than 6 people) and def not as much if the service was terrible. The manager was nice enough, but he had excuses that didn't make sense. Such as if you sit at the table we were at, you are most definitely going to be "overlooked." If that's a routine problem, why are you not addressing your staff? He also said he never receives complaints and I was only his third he's ever heard. If you look at reviews on Yelp and Google, they are similar to mine. The entertainers (queens) were decent. There were four that were really good, engaging, and entertaining. The others were mediocre. Again, disappointing because we had heard good things about this venue. I'm also an avid drag fan and see one drag show in every city/state I visit. Where we were sitting, I couldn't see the first two minutes of almost each performers set. They were tucked back on stage behind the curtains. Had I been sat in the center of the room, I would've been able to see. I couldn't move my chair either because of employees walking back/forth and standing in the only semi open area for a chair. I won't be back. I'd rather go to a local bar for a show where I don't have to be drunk to have a good time. read more

However, I feel like the food here is VERY underrated.. everything we ordered was delicious. Just the right amount of flavor, best food we've had in a while! Mine was the shrimp alfredo, but you can substitute for a white wine scampi sauce, and damn.. just damn. It's a must try! I came for a visit from Los Angeles, where we have most of the queens from Rupaul's Drag Race, so I have a lot of amazing local talent to compare to. The ATL Lips crew lived up to the legend! I loved the ambiance, the entertainers were flawless, so much good music, delicious food, the bathrooms are sooo cute and the service was excellent. They had the audience dancing in the aisles and they brought my mom on stage for a little good natured "read," a pic with the host and a free cupcake with a candle on top! I'll definitely come back next time I'm here to see the "gospel" show. Ha! If you come for a Saturday night show, expect to spend at least $50 per person after tax and tip. More if you want to drink! The cover is $12, and once in everyone in your party must spend a minimum of $15. That could be on drinks or food. Honestly if you plan ahead, you can settle this before you get to the table. Work out the smartest way to accomplish this. We didn't and ended up spending a pretty penny. Lol Parking They have valet and it's on the expensive side, and their lot is on the tiny side. Go ahead and Uber or Lyft. This is especially a better option if you're with a larger group. Atmosphere & Service The inside is on the small side, but it's deep. When you go you'll see what I mean. It's also well decorated. The stage is a bit small as well, but during the show the performers walk around and interact with the guest. In my opinion, it's best to sit in the front, so request that! The performers and the MC were all very lively and because of that the night flew on by. Lol this is so wild to me, but the servers are also the performers. So everyone orders before the show starts. The show actually doesn't start until around 12:30ish because every party has to order and get their food. Food & Prices Lips is definetly not for the cheap. It's on the expensive side, this includes drinks and food. The late night food options weren't anything spectacular. I decided to try the BBQ Chicken Sandwhich and Fries and it was just okay. It's honestly probably best to eat beforehand and then spend your $15 minimum on drinks, because the drinks are well made. Crunched for time and starving we opted to seek out another show considering our original option did not serve food. Thus we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Met here with a party of girlfriends for a fun brunch and birthday celebration. The show was so fun and the performers very talented. The hosts were both very funny. All the performers definitely worked the crowd. The event was very organised. The servers quickly had everyone seated. Pictures of mimosas and Bloody Mary were at tables with delicious muffins to munch on. Servers were prompt with getting our party seated and our orders in. I was in a perfect spot directly in front of the stage!!!! The food came fairly quick. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was a little salty for my taste but otherwise the waffles were great. Parking was a chore. The lot was full but finally someone came out and we were told to park in the neighbouring bank lot near the fence. My only gripe were the restrooms. I completely forgot to do this review until I was watching the movie "Like A Boss." There was a scene where they were in a drag club and I was like I "Hey I have been to that place." If you are looking for a fun night out with a group, this is the place. The decor is campy elegant, the servers who are also the entertainment are delightful, food is good with a great selection for a pre-fixe menu and they have it all timed like clockwork. The serving and clearing of food is seamless with each table on their own cadence. I am a pescatarian and normally there is an anemic pasta choice on the menu, but this had three out of the seven choices were available. Not only do they dance incredibly but the comedy and humor that is sprinkled in throughout is so refreshing. To be able to eat a fabulous meal in a gorgeous venue and still feel safe...
