This is a great place to shop for all the hard-to-find wines and beers, although not the most affordable. I do LOVE the enomatic self-wine-tasting, and would probably go to the Friday evening wine tastings more, but the male employee that usually holds the tastings is unbearable... He seems to want to talk all the time and interrupt me every time I want to talk, but never interrupted my husband. Hmmm. We've been there several times. This used to be THE place to get great booze at a great price, however their selection has diminished and when you ask about a specific kind of alcohol, they just shrug their shoulders and set they don't carry it any more. They blamed the distributor but I went to BevMo and got what I was looking for and guess what? They had plenty of bottles! Nothing special about this place any longer. read more

This is a great liquor store. I love the organization and the friendly staff who is very helpful in making suggestions. Plus since we like beer and wine we had it all in one place. The prices were very comparable with Bevmo...some more or less but the quality of wines that had was pretty great. I wish this place was closer to me but now that we know it is here we are pretty excited to be able to come here and explore Claremont as well. I really want to try their Friday beer tasting as well. This was our first time in the area and after trying some wine tasting we figured eating sounded like a good idea and this way our wine card could be used on another occasion here :) I loved the $1.00 wine tastings and the ability to add more money on a card in order to do the tastings. BTW some of the selections were amazing and the range of wines available had all different price points so there was something for everyone and a wine for everyday vs a special occasion wine. Great place, great selection and great prices... I was calling around looking for a keg for my son's birthday (which was a day away) and I had to get a Keg... WELL, 1 day notice won't leave me that much room especially cause we were looking for Rolling Rock. Well I called multple stores and then I finally came across Liquorama. To my surprise, they had it in stock (1 more). I asked the person to hold it and he gave me a few hours to come in and pay for it. When I came to pick up the keg, they brought it out to my car and even loaded it for me. The only thing that I wish they would have done was to throw in a bag or 2 of ice. Great selection at Liquorama, no question about it. I also like that it doesn't feel clinical, the way the big chains like bevmo can be. Bottom line, the beer and spirits taste the same either way, but I like to feel that I'm supporting a local small business with "real people" working there. I applaud them for carrying Cerveza Imperial from Costa Rica. It is hardly on any beer "snob's" list, but I like it because it is a crowd pleaser and very drinkable under almost any conditions. Liquorama is always the best. Attended the Glenlivet tasting on Friday night. The event was great, informative, educational, and entertaining. Plus there was free scotch. Nice selection we tasted the 12, 15, and 18, all very nice single malts. Plus we got free Glenlivet tasting glasses. They have great prices on the scotch, the guy from Glenlivet was impressed with the prices. We go to Liquorama weekly for wine, beer, and booze tastings, and they are always well done and fun. I wish there were more stars to give! This place went above and beyond! I had placed an order to be delivered to my sister for a special virtual happy hour we were having...everything was great until I realized I had the wrong address for her! I saw that the order was already in transit so I contacted the delivery service in hopes to catch it in transit! Luckily, I had and all was great! I then received an email stating that the delivery had been made and I had a sneaky suspicion it went to the wrong address. I contacted the delivery service and yes, sure enough it was delivered already and their system had not been updated yet. Unfortunately where it was delivered....the residents there claim everything that comes to them and are just not good people. Great selection (lots of rare selections) and even better customer service. I ordered a limited release bottle of whiskey that was taking a bit of time to receive. After calling customer service (Matt), they reached out to the shipper and they discovered it was lost in transit. Unfortunately their weren't any more bottles in stock. I was immediately informed of this and then offered a refund or a similarly priced bottle. After choosing a replacement bottle, it was overnighted at no cost to me. Great spot to go when your feeling spontaneous with your beverages. They have EVERYTHING!! from beer, to liquor, to top shelf cigars. They are very helpful. According to local sources, this is one of the oldest establishments of any kind in Upland, dating from when Foothill Blvd was part of Route 66! After stepping inside, I completely understand why. Liquor, wine, and beer galore! Need I say more? Well, yes. They carry beers that are extremely rare in southern California, like the Deschutes brand from Oregon. I like to call Liquorama "The world's most amazing liquor store." I bring friends and family from out of town to see it! They have a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor ranging from bottom shelf (yes, I've purchased a jug of Popav in plastic) to good stuff you can't find anywhere else (my mom has me bring her a bottle of Blanton's whiskey every Christmas because she can't find it in Sonoma County). The beer aisle, where you'll typically find me, is organized by region from the local (dale brothers and stone) to the far reaches of the earth (a whole section of beers just from munich, yes please). I typically limit my search to only the cold case so that I can make a decision faster... My only complaint is that the beer is a little more expensive than at other stores. So, if you just want a 6-pack of Sierra Nevada try the Fresh and Easy next door and you'll save some money. If you're on their mailing list you get a 10% off coupon every few weeks, which really helps! They do beer and wine tastings on Friday nights, which are low key, but always informative. The staff is friendly, helpful, and weirdly knowledgeable. Once I brought my folks in and the nice man behind the tasting bar offered them a taste of bacon vodka before we bought it (and we're so glad they did-- it was terrible stuff!) read more

This location has a variety of tastings that you can attend or even use the automated wine dispensing machine to take your own wine flight whenever you feel like it.
