The room we got was tiny and too small for two tall adults. The bed was very comfortable (full bed not a king) as well as the pillows. The room was well decorated and clean. Nice furniture to hold a fridge & microwave. It was too small for us. The staff were very kind & helpful. Wonderful restaurant across the street for breakfast and dinner was a bonus, we loved it. The grounds are well manicured and walking distance to the beach & town. I booked our room 3 1/2 months in advance so would have hoped for a better room. I felt duped on the size. If you are okay with the size then this is a lovely place for you in a great location with wonderful staff.

As soon as we entered into the little lobby for check in, the owner's dog Koda greeted us when we checked in. The woman at the front desk checked us in around 2:30 which I was surprised since check in is usually 4:00. Our room was ready so we decided to go in and unpack. We got a standard room which was perfect for the two of us. The bed was super soft and comfy and I gotta say it was a great nights sleep. Those hotel comforters are soo cozy!! The room was a little small but not by much, it was a very nice room. The linens were clean, overall the whole room was clean and I loved the nautical decor. The bathroom was nice, 1 sink and a nice walk in shower that I really liked. We really enjoyed the courtyard area outside because it had Adirondack chairs surrounded by little fire pits that they lit up at night. We didn't go in the pool because it was only 60° but in the sun it was still nice. Anyone who's looking for a great motel in town here, go to Daunt's!! You won't be disappointed! You'll even be greeted by the dog Koda! She's soo sweet!

I want to give $2 tip for friendly driver/assistant and she said that's Ok. This taxi company rocks compares to unproffesional bus drivers on Nassau County Bus. Female assistant and female passenger help me get my stuff from my seat in back. I recommend taxi #9 and best driver and assistant ever!! Female assistant on passenger seat even told me walkng direction to Hampton Jitney bus stop. Truelly remarkable employees and customers cortesy. Looking for Suffolk County Transit 10C bus stop was little confuse since it was my first visit to Montauk, so I decided to take taxi. I will recommend 668 Mnt Taxi to any tourists that taking Hampton Jitney/LIRR to use this wonderful taxi service. I only asked for a fair acknowledgment and apology, not money. Management refused further discussion.

I was mortified and the day was ruined!! Not to mention, I had previously been 'accidentally' charged multiple timed a few hundred dollars, to the point I'd had to cancel my credit card!!! The owner allegedly changed her phone number, which is why I now am forced to deal with the authorities. I'm not aware of any reputable business owner changing their phone number.
