Great Italian spot in Pinehurst village! Had the caprese salad, fried meatballs, and chicken parm, and it was all sooooo good. They also included extra bread/butter for the red sauce which was great. Definitely would return when in the area. read more

Ate dinner here while in town on business with 2 co workers. Everything was top notch, including our server Sarah. I would highly recommend Lisi to anyone wanting good Italian. I don't give out 5s but this experience almost made me. 4-1/2 for sure. The only thing you might want to know is that they do not have liquor. They have beer and wine but no liquor. Most of the food is wonderful but the salumi is not worth the price. It comes with very little meat and cheese. It should have more of that but also tomatoes and more greens. Also it should have Asiago and Parmesan cheeses and not blue cheese. It should also have a side of dressing (vinegar and/or olive oil). I went there this past weekend for Valentine's Day, and the food was fantastic. My boyfriend and I dined in and had some fantastic Pappardelle, meatballs, and ravioli. The food came in a timely manner, and the staff was friendly. As far as COVID precautions, the staff kept their masks on while speaking to customers. The restaurant respected sustainability, not serving too much food and not using a bunch of unnecessary items. The ambiance was perfect for a nicer dinner; I enjoyed the open kitchen look and the feel of the atmosphere. All in all, I would definitely recommend! read more

It was ok... food was good (noodles were a little too done for my taste), but the braised beef was tender and flavorful $24). The dishes were a little overpriced ($18 for orecchiette and sausage), but the flavor is excellent. Overpriced is relative; in fancy Pinehurst that is an acceptable price point. Ambiance was severely lacking. Tables were too close together and it was really hot inside, however the waiters did their best to try and serve everyone complimentary bread (warm) and butter. Very good food and service. We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table, and we had a party of six. I had the chicken parmigiana, which came with rigatoni. Did everything I could to finish my plate, as the portions were generous. Had gelato for dessert. You certainly won't leave hungry. a fantastic and much needed addition for delicious dining in the village. i have eaten here twice to date and was greeted both times by accommodating staff, delicious food and a decent wine list. the sautéed greens were flavourful (a nice kick of heat) and a great starter to my spaghetti and meatballs (a classic done well). my second experience was the rigatoni bolognese and chicken milanese (shared by two). the rigatoni was screamin' delicious and the milanese surpassed only by my father's made at home. be prepared to wait for a table, but with a glass of vino it goes by in a flash. read more

As a local, Lisi is generally my go to spot for good Italian. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me longing for the old days. I'm not sure whether the chef has changed. The lobster ravioli I ordered was rather disappointing. The cream sauce didn't have much, if any, flavor. The head of parsley they added didn't do the trick. The ravioli itself was large enough for the four pieces in the dish, however, the filling didn't have any of the big pieces of lobster you'd expect for the price of the meal. I guess the recession is hitting everyone pretty hard. Hopefully this is an isolated experience. read more
