The food was just not good :( We came here Friday evening and ordered the deviled eggs and watermelon salad, both which were recommended by the server. The eggs were so salty, and the salad was just giant chunks of non-fresh tasting watermelon over like table spoon of feta cheese. We were sat outside at the very end with a huge sofa space with fire place coffee table. This area can fit 7 adults and we were a party of 3 (with 2 adults and 1 baby). La Vie En Rose $19 I ordered the rose cocktail made with tequila, lychee, hibiscus, vanilla liqueur, and honey. On top it was decorated with dried roses. The floral and fruity smell of the drink was amazing. G & T $18 Husband ordered the Gin Tonic made with Beefeater gin, shiso leaf, blood orange wedge, basil blossom, and citric acid. It paired great with the mussels and lamb chops. Moules $30 For our main courses, we got the mussels with fries. The sauce was made with hickory smoked bacon, garlic confit, shallots, beurre blanc. Lamb Chops $45 And another main course we ordered the medium rare lamb chops. This had no DJ no Interactive experience at all, still wondering what I paid an extra $15 per person for when I booked the reservation. The cocktails were also a standout -- the Old Mez, The Vintage, and even my Matcha Bliss mocktail were all . We started with the Brussels sprouts, mussels, and truffle fries. The appetizer portions were generous and satisfying. The mussels were cooked perfectly with a flavorful sauce that had us finishing every bite. The truffle fries were hot and crispy, served with ketchup and aioli. The Brussels sprouts had the perfect crisp in every layer, while the onion, apple, and bacon balanced the dish really well. Unfortunately, the lamb chops completely changed the experience. When the plate arrived, both my husband and I immediately noticed how small the portion was for a $45 entrée -- just a few lamb chops and four small carrots. Compared to the appetizers, it honestly felt more like an appetizer than a main course. I ordered mine medium rare, but my pieces came out rare and chewy with quite a bit of fat, leaving one bite of meat per piece. My husband's pieces were cooked more accurately, but his cuts were a little thicker than mine. For the price point, the dish simply didn't feel worth it or satisfying enough to be considered a true entrée. For two people, including tip, the bill was over $200. This was my first visit to Château, I made a 7:30 reservation for a Saturday party of 3 girls night! We checked in at 7:30 and was advised they are working on our table at about 7:45 I still didn't hear anything so I went back to the check in and was advised it would be a little bit longer. Around 8pm of the check in girls brought us a glass of champagne and apologized for the wait. We were finally sat at 8:10 40 mins after our scheduled reservation, which was frustrating. After we were sat our waitress advised she would grab us water and some cocktails we ordered. Cocktails were brought but no waters, we then reminded the waitress and still no waters. We had another waiter by the name of Devin walk by who asked how the night was going and we advised not so well, and he brought us water immediately and checked in on us during the night, which we appreciated. The salmon was cooked beautifully, seasoned well, juicy on the inside and paired so well with the salad. My only small note: I asked for a little extra dressing since the kale wasn't fully massaged, but that's a personal preference and didn't take away from how delicious it was. I came with a group of 7 women, and there is an automatic 20% gratuity for larger parties. While the service was fine, it was extremely basic -- not bad, just nothing over-the-top -- so the gratuity felt a little steep for the level of service. That said, I understand it from a business standpoint. Can we talk about the bathrooms for a second? Large, absolutely beautiful, and fully stocked at all times. I really enjoyed my shishito peppers. They usually come with a sauce that contains almonds, but since I'm allergic, the kitchen kindly omitted it. My Lavender French 75 was absolutely delicious. The bread service was epic, and the Hamachi Crudo though I may be spelling that incorrectly is a must-order! The truffle fries were also quite good. Alana, my waitress, was excellent--attentive, friendly, and professional. Other staff members also checked in on me, asking if everything was okay, which I appreciated. I typically don't highlight race, but I want to acknowledge that the Black waitress and Black male waiter though not assigned to my table were exceptionally attentive and made me feel welcomed. The ambiance is intimate and very elegant, featuring a stunning hanging chandelier. The host today was also warm and welcoming. The bartender even crafted a special drink for me that wasn't on the menu. Inclusivity is definitely one of this establishment's strengths. I highly recommend trying them out! read more
