This was the perfect experience to celebrate my hunny's 40th birthday. The food, ambiance, and service were phenomenal. Everyone was raving about the location and how well organized everything was. Raquel was absolutely fantastic! She made sure things ran smoothly which allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience. I can not wait to come back to visit. The steak, lamb chops, and seafood pasta were delicious and the perfect touch! Kudos to the Chef, the staff, and the entire team for helping this be an amazing memorable event! I look forward to recommending this location to anyone looking to host a special experience!

It's like walking into a jeweled box...rich, gem colors adorn the seating and a golden glow, welcomes you from the back of the restaurant, with the most delicate cocktails. I just wanted to stop in, and enjoy an afternoon before a hair appointment around the corner. Will definitely be coming back for lunch or dinner! Had their Aperol cocktail...beautifully shaken and garnished. Service was very lovely. Even the restroom is something out of Architectural Digest, I want to know who designed your establishment!!! Cheers.

Date of Visit: 5/16/2026 After our annual May tradition of cherry picking trip at Brentwood, we visited the Parisian restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. Château was newly established back in 2024 Summer, with a classic dining room with bar and also outdoor dining and lounging area. We were sat outside at the very end with a huge sofa space with fire place coffee table. This area can fit 7 adults and we were a party of 3 (with 2 adults and 1 baby). La Vie En Rose $19 I ordered the rose cocktail made with tequila, lychee, hibiscus, vanilla liqueur, and honey. On top it was decorated with dried roses. The floral and fruity smell of the drink was amazing. G & T $18 Husband ordered the Gin Tonic made with Beefeater gin, shiso leaf, blood orange wedge, basil blossom, and citric acid. It paired great with the mussels and lamb chops. Moules $30 For our main courses, we got the mussels with fries. The sauce was made with hickory smoked bacon, garlic confit, shallots, beurre blanc. Lamb Chops $45 And another main course we ordered the medium rare lamb chops. Four pieces of the lamb chops was placed on top of the Mediterranean yogurt and some honey-roasted carrots, and was topped with chimichurri. Highly recommended.

Cute French inspired restaurant in downtown WC. Solid 3 stars for the brunch experience. Our server was charming and was very accommodating overall. Food aesthetics were notable but had better expectations for the taste. I had higher hopes for my lobster Benedict with an "upgraded" kale Caesar salad side (which they forgot the Caesar dressing and croutons), the above average truffle fries and aioli, and the petite gateau (chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato) that we unfortunately found something hair-like in it toward the end. Ambiance, vibes were cool but the food didn't wow me as much as I expected. The dinner options look more promising so I'd give it another chance.

Château is fun, cute and really a vibe. I'm French and I thought the menu was legit. The drinks were super tasty and it's really a beautiful space. It was my first Mother's Day and so my husband took me here to celebrate. There were lots of couples there are the staff were super kind. I would definitely say this is a great spot for a date night and I highly recommend sitting outside. The food was solid. The bread and butter was divine. I didn't feel like the food was super duper unique or breathtaking but it was good. My husband got their burger and he liked it a lot. I got their lamb and I really liked it but some pieces were a bit grisly. I would go back and get more drinks and maybe some appetizers or look at reviews first and see what they are better know for. The vibes though were top tier.

This is a solid 4 star location - the ambiance and decor is great but the food could be better considering the price. Some of them are good but others are just okay - the exception was the truffle fries - those were fantastic, consider ordering a batch for the table. It's pretty popular on weekends so reservations are recommended ahead of time.

Not really a French restaurant judging by the menu, and it's a very limited menu. I like lamb, so I ordered it. It was cooked to my liking, with a good lamb flavor and tender. It was served with baby carrots. I tasted paprika in the sauce. My dish had more of a Mediterranean flavor than French. My wife had the fish. She hates overcooked fish. This one wasn't. And the veggies were hot. The dessert menu was also limited and didn't really feel French, so we passed. I ordered a glass of wine with dinner. They offered a Pinot noir from Healdsburg. Good, but would like to see higher quality stemware. Too expensive for what we got. Judging by the bar, the bar scene is how they pay the rent.

We came here for what they sold as a R&B Brunch but it was really just brunch with some loud R&B music. The ones I've seen on social media are more like a party atmosphere with a DJ. This had no DJ no Interactive experience at all, still wondering what I paid an extra $15 per person for when I booked the reservation. The drinks were good cute, boogie and photographic but WOW the pricing was obnoxious almost $20 for all the speciality cocktails they need to be more I the $14-15 range for what they are. Now the food my lobster Benedict was DELICIOUS I would come back just for that even with the $32 price tag, but the potato "cake" was gummy and greasy I should have gone fruit or salad. My friend had the Standard egg breakfast which was just OK the eggs and homemade sausage was really good but the bacon was undercooked and again the potato "cake" wasn't good the potatoes looked grey like they were grated to early for the meal. The service was nice nothing great to talk about but no one was rude or anything. I guess I was just expecting WAY more than we got especially for the pricing of food and admission. Much better places to go in Walnut Creek if you're just looking for a good brunch.

Lunch w/The Beauty (more bday shenanigans) Chill atmosphere, excellent service! Marseille 5outta5 Think a tropical cocktail with a sophisticated juicy start & slightly bitter/citrusy finish. Sparkling wine was light & refreshing. Brussels 4outta5 It's a large serving, even for two but excellent flavors Deviled eggs w/caviar 4outta5 pretty good flavor! Charcuterie board 4outta5 nice combo Caviar bumps 3.5outta5 good flavor but the pearls weren't firm & had no pop Smash burger 4outta5 Cooked perfectly, nice flavor, really enjoyed it along w/truffle fries. I could've used a touch more truffle oil. It's great spot for lunch or dinner, for couples or a small group. #GoTaste&See

I had such a great experience here! I ordered the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the Sunday's burger, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted very fresh and high quality, and you can really tell they put care into their food. I also tried the Garden Spritz, and it was amazing--perfectly refreshing and well balanced. The atmosphere inside is beautiful, very clean, elegant, and has a classy vibe that makes it perfect for a date night or special outing. The customer service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

The ambiance is really cozy and inviting. I liked their setup, and the mini bar was a fun addition. The food was okay nothing outstanding, but it paired well with drinks and the social vibe. However, the biggest downside was the strict 2-hour limit per guest. Even though we ordered a lot of food and drinks, we were asked to leave before we were finished. It felt frustrating because we were still enjoying our time, but the staff insisted on clearing the space for the next guests. Overall, the vibe and setup are great, but the time restrictions were disappointing.

    Outdoors seating and side entrance
    Sandra V.

The place is nicely decorated and cute. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I met my best friend here. She made a reservation on open table. The reservations are timed. The smaller the group the less time. For this I gave it a four. We were told the next reservation was there and we felt a bit rushed. It was busy. Perhaps during the week may be better? Staff were great. Our waitress came often, she did great. Staff cleaned the tables often as well. We ordered a wine bottle and truffle fries to start. The truffle fries were full of flavor. Followed by their burger and salmon. All the food was amazing and delicious. The portions were fair too. We were ordering cheesecake with our waitress when the hostess intervened politely and said they were sold out. We did not get dessert.

Is a reservation required for either inside or patio for 2?

No resie required, but it's a good idea, since they do get busy.

    How is the parking?

Its not bad! Theres street parking (just make sure you put ample time on there) and a couple garages in the area. I usually just do the garage to save time searching for a spot.

    Do they have happy hour?

Hello Tanisha! We do not have happy hour at this time but we have some great options for small bites. We hope to see you soon!

Also would like to know if it's kid/ teen friendly?

It's more appropriate for adults - intimate spot with a great date night vibe.

    Does this place require reservations?

Reservations are not required yet. But for a large group I would recommend it.

We started with the chips and salsa, and they were a great way to kick things off. The chips tasted fresh and were perfectly crispy. Both the red and green salsas had really good flavor without being overly spicy. We also ordered spicy margaritas, and the bartender definitely knew what they were doing. The drinks were well-balanced with just the right amount of heat. For our entrees, we ordered the burrito, carne plate, enchiladas, and the bee salad. The standout was definitely the carne--it was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. It was cooked perfectly. The burrito was absolutely massive and packed with flavor, while the enchiladas tasted homemade and were comforting and delicious. Everyone at the table left happy. Overall, it was a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent drinks, and attentive service despite how busy they were. We'll definitely be back--especially because their brunch menu is next on our list!

For a party of two, we ordered four drinks, two appetizers, and one salad, with the final tab coming to approximately $170. At that price point, I expect a noticeably stronger food experience, and unfortunately, this meal did not deliver. The service was a bright spot. The waitstaff was polite, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the food was where the experience fell short. The cauliflower and spicy tuna appetizers both had acceptable presentation, but the flavors and execution were disappointing. The ingredients did not seem particularly well balanced, and both dishes felt like they needed the chef to revisit the seasoning, composition, and overall preparation. Neither appetizer left an impression worth repeating. The Asian chicken salad had potential, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients kept it from standing out. A salad built around fresh, crisp ingredients should feel vibrant, yet this one came across as somewhat tired and lacking the freshness I would expect. Another point worth mentioning is the 20% gratuity that was automatically added to the bill. While I understand that some restaurants have automatic gratuity policies, it was unexpected for a party of two and felt somewhat excessive given the overall dining experience. I would have preferred that the policy be clearly communicated upfront. I typically include photos with my reviews, but the only photo I took on this visit was of the receipt, which probably says enough about how memorable the food was. Overall: The service was professional, but the food did not justify the approximately $170 price tag for two. There are plenty of restaurants where I would expect a more memorable and thoughtfully executed meal at this price point.

So capacity is very limited. 3) We ordered lemonade for kids. They serve it in short glasses filled with ice to the brim (despite our ask for "no ice"), effectively reducing the liquid volume. We paid $35 for lemonade. 4) Food is very uneventful, nothing was remarkable. Their gnocchi with meat resembled Chef Boyardee from back in college times. Not sure why this place felt so pretentious with really no substance to back it. With so many options around like Montecatini, Doppio Zero, Benvenuti, La Fontaine, etc, not sure how they are still in business.
