Plate-sized ground beef taco (before it was folded and consumed).

Big portions. That's the first thing that comes to mind after our visit to Lito's Take Out. And even though Take Out is in their name, they have a nice dining room indoors and provide table service once you ordered at the counter. We had a ground beef taco, carne asada taco, and bean, cheese, rice, and chicken burrito. Besides being big, they were very tasty. The prices were very reasonable and the table service included a bowl of chips and delicious salsa. By all means, this place is definitely worth a visit. Apparently Guy Fieri visited with his DD&D show!

Came here as our last stop for breakfast to end our trip and put ourselves in a food coma. I didn't get to try a bite of the burritos my friends ordered, but they were huge and look how beautiful that cross section is!! Green chilaquiles- 10/10 wow plenty of sour cream and guac to share. Chips were crunchy and thick, freshly fried. Rice and beans not too oily/fatty big portion, very generous. Most customers buy burritos to go, there is some seating inside, just let workers know if you're ordering to go or if you want to be seated and eat.

Two breakfast burritos... egg and sausage was very light on the sausage and only came with egg and sausage, just a heads up. All that is in the burritos is what is in the name. Not a lot of flavor. The salsas were great, definitely where the flavor is and the only thing that made an impression. There is no restroom, but there is parking behind the building, which was nice. Small inside, but offers a few tables. Two burritos was $30. They were about as big as you'd imagine they'd be.

On my vacation to Santa Barbara I was hungry for a breakfast burrito. Checked a few places online and chose Lito's. Turns out I chose wisely. I ordered the Chorizo & Egg burrito, and added cheese and an Anaheim Chile. Spiced it up with the red sauce. Since there were only 2 others eating inside I decided to dine inside. By the time I finished my breakfast, the place had filled up. Great timing on my part. The burrito was everything I was expecting. Delicious and filling. The service was excellent. I was offered chips and additional sauces, but I was fine with just the burrito. If I make it back to Santa Barbara this will be a must stop.

A friend recommended this spot for lunch and I am so glad they did! It was super easy to place an order ahead on their website to have ready upon our arrival. They have a fair amount of seating inside, despite being a small spot. The service was incredible. Staff were so friendly and attentive. I opted for the chicken fajitas burrito and it was so yummy. I loved grilled fajita veggies. They also have a great selection of salsas and some had a great amount of spice. They don't have parking but it was easy to snag a spot on the street at the lunch hour on a Saturday. Others in my party were excited about the pozole. They even had items small children in our party were excited about it. Something for everyone here and the food was so yummy!

This place wasn't dog friendly so we just ordered takeout & ate it at the tables outside the Santa Barbara Public Market. The burrito prices were super reasonable compared to other burrito places, and they don't skimp out on the ingredients. The burritos were actually really good - we got one of the chorizo with egg and cheese and one of the Louisiana sausage with egg and cheese. We thought they put in a little too much egg, but we appreciate that they didn't upcharge us for the burritos especially during this time of egg shortage.

This was breakfast stop number two for my friend and I last weekend. Stopped in not knowing that Guy Fierri had stopped in here not once, but twice. Have to admit, was a little skeptical because I've been to a handful of places that Guy has been to - and I felt they were just OK. That's how i felt about Lito's. First off - parking on Haley. No issue. I saw what looked like it could be a parking lot behind. You'll have to ask though. We found parking basically right in front. Free too. Walk in. Order. Find a seat and your food will be served. Order first though. There's even a sign asking you to. Don't go hogging tables as the place isn't big - not a lot of seating. Place was about half filled when we got there. Stayed steady like that until we left. Service was great. Attentive. Friendly. Really nice. Makes me feel bad that I'm not a fan of the food. But I wasn't. Not that it was bad. It just didn't knock my socks off. I will say this though - if you like Menudo, the portions are great. If you look at the pics and see how the bowl is full of tripe. For my particular taste though, needed more acidity to mask the funkier notes of the tripe. The breakfast burrito was standard for me. Again, no wow factor for me. We didn't try either dish that Guy had on his visits. Not sure if I'd go back to try but ya never know.

This would look Great in Litos! Love the Christmas Tree

Their drinks are addictedly delicious! I have tried several different ones from espresso, latte, to matcha and non-caffeinated drinks. Each one has been consistently great. 2 stars Due to their popularity, there's always almost a line out the door. However, if you follow them on IG, they do post update stories throughout the day about quantity status and how long the wait would be. They're pretty efficient, so even with a long line, I've never waited more than 20-30mins. 1 star The store is not meant for a sit down and hang out or study spot, but big enough to fit a good number of customers waiting around for drinks. 1 star They don't offer latte art or even hot drink, but ALL of their cold drinks and baked good are more than enough to make up for that! 1 star Really wish they'll start expanding soon. Central Coast can really use a great Asian coffee/bakery. As for now, I'll just have to drive down to Santa Barbara once or twice a month to get my Kin fix! Perfect Valentine's Day Breakfast Stop…read more Every time I'm driving into Los Angeles, I stop on State Street to charge my car -- and today (February 14th ) we decided to grab breakfast while we waited. Best decision ever. We stumbled upon this adorable donut shop, and they had the cutest Valentine's-themed donuts decorated for the day. My daughter immediately chose the chocolate one. I honestly didn't think she'd love it... but she ate the entire thing without hesitation. That says everything. Of course, I grabbed some donut holes for the road -- because that's just tradition at this point -- but the real star? The bagel sandwich. I ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel with egg, crispy bacon, tomato, red onion, and (because why not?) extra cheddar. It was DIVINE. Hands down the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. Perfectly toasted, flavorful, just the right kick from the jalapeño cheddar -- I'm still thinking about it hours later. I may have to stop again on the way home because I genuinely can't get that taste out of my mind. If you're passing through State Street, do yourself a favor and try this place. Absolute gem.

They sell lots of flavors of Turkish coffee, and I was used to a sweetened and cardamon flavored version I had had in Egypt, Jordan and Israel, so I opted for the cardamon version. They have the traditional cubed gelatin version, along with a rolled version that is a little softer and less chewy. It is all sold by weight, so you can mix and match.

I love their selection of Turkish Delights. The flavors are just so unique to me, for instances, the Blackberry, Almond & Almond Cream Turkish Delight was so good, I had to get me a little log of that, and of course, the Rose Petal Covered, Pomegranate & Pistachio Turkish Delight. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but my justification is, one it is a treat for myself, and two, I don't know how to make it. The space is cute, and I love that you could even order tea/coffee and enjoy it in the shop with your sweets. Lastly, I appreciate that they give samples of the different Turkish Delights!

GET READY FOR A TRANSCENDENT DONUT EXPERIENCE…read more Just off State Street on Figueroa, you'll find a donut shop that feels more like a craft breakfast kitchen with a serious pastry soul. The owner's love for their craft, staff, and product make for an inviting ambiance you don't find in many establishments in their class. DON'T MISS BREAKFAST Their menu goes far beyond donuts, blending whimsical, flavor-forward pastries with substantial breakfast sandwiches and bowls featuring bacon, turkey sausage, and mouthwatering, fluffy eggs that taste like they've been kissed with something buttery, creamy, and completely unforgettable. PASTRY IS IN THEIR DNA The first sign you're in the right place? Walking past stacks of pastry flour on your way to the donut counter. Nothing says "this is going to be good" like seeing the foundation of the craft right there in front of you. And these are not airy, forgettable donuts. These are brioche-style, flavor-filled, butter-forward creations that deliver exactly what the menu promises. CHOCOLATE CHERRY ALMOND OLD FASHIONED (OH MY) The Chocolate Cherry Almond Old Fashioned is in a class of its own. It surpasses every old fashioned donut I've had, with a light cake base, a low-oil profile, and none of the overly craggy, greasy edges you get from a less thoughtful donut. This is pastry territory. The chocolate and almond are subtle at first, then the cherry arrives with a dramatic full tastebud activation -- sweet, salt, fat, and bitter all working together. The cherry blooms at the back of your mouth like springtime near the Capitol in D.C. or a Japanese cherry blossom landscape. It's where cake and donut collide into something that redefines the experience for kids and kids at heart. SNAP-CRACKLE-POP TREAT WITH AN UPGRADE THAT'S SWEET The Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treat Donut is another five-star execution of both concept and flavor. The Rice Krispies are real -- not decorative. They sit in a marshmallow flow atop a lightly sweet donut that oozes buttery goodness, with just the right touch of salt to elevate the sweetness and add that extra delight on the palate. I'LL BE BACK! Hook & Press is not just making donuts. They're creating edible moments. Santa Barbara is lucky to have them.
