Plate-sized ground beef taco (before it was folded and consumed).
    Michael S.

Big portions. That's the first thing that comes to mind after our visit to Lito's Take Out. And even though Take Out is in their name, they have a nice dining room indoors and provide table service once you ordered at the counter. We had a ground beef taco, carne asada taco, and bean, cheese, rice, and chicken burrito. Besides being big, they were very tasty. The prices were very reasonable and the table service included a bowl of chips and delicious salsa. By all means, this place is definitely worth a visit. Apparently Guy Fieri visited with his DD&D show!

Came here as our last stop for breakfast to end our trip and put ourselves in a food coma. I didn't get to try a bite of the burritos my friends ordered, but they were huge and look how beautiful that cross section is!! Green chilaquiles- 10/10 wow plenty of sour cream and guac to share. Chips were crunchy and thick, freshly fried. Rice and beans not too oily/fatty big portion, very generous. Most customers buy burritos to go, there is some seating inside, just let workers know if you're ordering to go or if you want to be seated and eat.

Two breakfast burritos... egg and sausage was very light on the sausage and only came with egg and sausage, just a heads up. All that is in the burritos is what is in the name. Not a lot of flavor. The salsas were great, definitely where the flavor is and the only thing that made an impression. There is no restroom, but there is parking behind the building, which was nice. Small inside, but offers a few tables. Two burritos was $30. They were about as big as you'd imagine they'd be.

I got there at the perfect time Carnitas are to die for !!! I love and this place never disappoints! The staff is so helpful in choosing a perfect choice for my meal The inside is decorated very nice it looks like it had gotten redone compared to my prior visits Very quiet and overall great experience again

On my vacation to Santa Barbara I was hungry for a breakfast burrito. Checked a few places online and chose Lito's. Turns out I chose wisely. I ordered the Chorizo & Egg burrito, and added cheese and an Anaheim Chile. Spiced it up with the red sauce. Since there were only 2 others eating inside I decided to dine inside. By the time I finished my breakfast, the place had filled up. Great timing on my part. The burrito was everything I was expecting. Delicious and filling. The service was excellent. I was offered chips and additional sauces, but I was fine with just the burrito. If I make it back to Santa Barbara this will be a must stop.

A friend recommended this spot for lunch and I am so glad they did! It was super easy to place an order ahead on their website to have ready upon our arrival. They have a fair amount of seating inside, despite being a small spot. The service was incredible. Staff were so friendly and attentive. I opted for the chicken fajitas burrito and it was so yummy. I loved grilled fajita veggies. They also have a great selection of salsas and some had a great amount of spice. They don't have parking but it was easy to snag a spot on the street at the lunch hour on a Saturday. Others in my party were excited about the pozole. They even had items small children in our party were excited about it. Something for everyone here and the food was so yummy!

This place wasn't dog friendly so we just ordered takeout & ate it at the tables outside the Santa Barbara Public Market. The burrito prices were super reasonable compared to other burrito places, and they don't skimp out on the ingredients. The burritos were actually really good - we got one of the chorizo with egg and cheese and one of the Louisiana sausage with egg and cheese. We thought they put in a little too much egg, but we appreciate that they didn't upcharge us for the burritos especially during this time of egg shortage.

This was breakfast stop number two for my friend and I last weekend. Stopped in not knowing that Guy Fierri had stopped in here not once, but twice. Have to admit, was a little skeptical because I've been to a handful of places that Guy has been to - and I felt they were just OK. That's how i felt about Lito's. First off - parking on Haley. No issue. I saw what looked like it could be a parking lot behind. You'll have to ask though. We found parking basically right in front. Free too. Walk in. Order. Find a seat and your food will be served. Order first though. There's even a sign asking you to. Don't go hogging tables as the place isn't big - not a lot of seating. Place was about half filled when we got there. Stayed steady like that until we left. Service was great. Attentive. Friendly. Really nice. Makes me feel bad that I'm not a fan of the food. But I wasn't. Not that it was bad. It just didn't knock my socks off. I will say this though - if you like Menudo, the portions are great. If you look at the pics and see how the bowl is full of tripe. For my particular taste though, needed more acidity to mask the funkier notes of the tripe. The breakfast burrito was standard for me. Again, no wow factor for me. We didn't try either dish that Guy had on his visits. Not sure if I'd go back to try but ya never know.

This would look Great in Litos! Love the Christmas Tree

Los Agaves On De Lavina St. -- A Rare Review from Someone Who Hates Writing Reviews…read moreI spent 25 years owning a business. I know what good service looks like, and I know what entitled looks like. I never write reviews -- I watched Yelp destroy good people over bad nights, and I swore I'd stay out of it. Tonight changed that. I sat at the bar. It took the bartender over five minutes to acknowledge I existed. Another five to ten to deliver a Coke. I ordered dinner and waited forty minutes -- which I might have forgiven, except getting his attention was nearly impossible the entire night. No eye contact. Body language that made clear I was an inconvenience, not a guest. Every interaction felt like I was interrupting something more important. When I finally got him to check on my order, he went to the computer and discovered he'd never placed it. I walked out. I noticed the people around me weren't faring much better. The slowness wasn't just my experience -- it was the room. Los Agaves appears to be a popular place, and maybe on another night with another bartender it earns that reputation. But entitlement has a way of spreading when nobody checks it. I hope management is paying attention -- because a beautiful restaurant dies one invisible guest at a time.

Back to table service! Yay!!!…read more Attractive and very clean restaurant with great service. Truly delicious Mexican food. I love pozole - Cc's rendition is top notch and comes with all the extras to put in the soup including avocado, chopped onion, a whole fried tortilla to break up into the broth and Mexican oregano (the small is more than enough for one hungry person or to share with two).Homemade chips come with a four salsa selection ranging substantially hot to a delicate tomatillo green. I tried my tablemate's tacos, all three varieties were very very good. I've had takeout from here, but it's really worth going in person because the food is nuanced and best when piping hot as it's made.

The space smelled delicious and the girl taking my order was very nice and patient while I figured out what to get. I ended up getting a carne asada taco and a grilled fish taco. I also got their pomegranate mint drink. They have two rooms. We stayed in the one by the entrance where we ordered as the other room has a step down instead of a ramp. My child was sleeping in his stroller so logistically it made it easier to just stay in the first space. When I first got the items I staired at my Carne asada in confusion as it was just a sad pile of dry looking meat next to a very beautiful fish taco. My tired self didn't see the generous salsa bar filled with wonderful toppings. Alas it was like putting lipstick on a pig, as the meat almost was at jerky level. The fish taco while it looked amazing and the fish was fresh tasting, lacked the flavor explosion I was expecting. I appreciated the taste of the drink I got however it ran a bit sweet for my taste. Overall in an area with an amazing food scene it fell short for me, but at least filled me up.

We came here on a whim and everything about it was so enjoyable!…read more The service was good. Until we got seated, the service felt lukewarm, but our server, Joquin(?) made us feel so welcome! He gave us some great advice on what to order and we enjoyed every bit of it! There was also another gentleman that brought out the umbrella for us since it was getting sunny. We had a couple workers walk by without asking, but he was so kind enough to make us comfortable. The drinks we ordered were so refreshing. We ordered the Costa Blanca, De Aqui, and the Bengala de Granada. The drinks were so crisp that it almost felt like a palette cleanser. The yellowtail crudo was perfectly balanced between sweet and citrusy. The oysters looked spicy but were pleasantly mild! The octopus was tender and soft.
