This belizean spot has some very flavorful food. Everything on the menu is good to me but my go to is the oxtail plate. I've been eating here for the past 10yrs and it's my favorite belizean place to eat at. It's very small inside but most people order to go so I like to dine in most times I go cause it's empty inside. This a very lowkey place but it gets a lot of traffic with to go orders. If you're looking for some good belizean food in the Inglewood area, stop by and get a taste of some authentic cultural food done the belizean way.

JUST WOW !!! So happy I chose to stop here after hearing about it for so long finally came and experienced it for myself ! Let's first get into the service ! The staff was friendly and very friendly , from the moment I stepped into the establishment I felt welcome . The ambiance is small but powerful , from small details in the decor to the set up . Now my favorite food ! 10/10 ! absolutely amazing '! Filled with so much flavor ! And the portion is definitely shareable . Under the pics provided I will give an individual rating I will definitely go back !

We came to Little Belize after seeing it on the LATryGuy's YouTube video. My husband has Belizean roots and has really been missing the flavors his grandmother used to cook. And This place didn't disappoint. It came really close to what he remembers growing up We ordered the brown stew chicken plate with rice and peas, potato salad, and fried plantains, plus a side of mac & cheese sooo good! Everything was flavorful, comforting, and felt like a warm hug. It's worth a visit! The service was excellent, and our waitress took time to explain the menu. Little Belize is definitely a vibe in Inglewood. Also, try the "Panty Rippa" drink... just make sure you're not driving home though! God Bless!

Alright, I was missing home a lot and needed to have the sense of being back in Belize, so while I was out in California spending a weekend with my partner I wanted to have her try this place with me too unfortunately we lost track of time at the aquarium that we didn't had time to sit down and eat but we got it the next day in the way to the airport to drop me off. What I got from here was 2 plates of rice and beans with stew chicken that came with the side of plantains her side had the potato salad while I got the Cole slaw. When you open the container wow the smell of it smell like home and so good! The chicken was tender and the meat was falling off the bone when peeling ! I also got the Salbutes and my oh my that was amazing full of flavor. Next time got to get the village tacos been missing it and the garnachas !

First time trying this spot today ! FIRE. I just got the sampler plate and chicken tamale. Very flavorful I have no complaints. The customer service is also great. The woman who took my order was very welcoming and had great energy which is sometimes rare at some Caribbean places (that I've been to). They have a take out window and indoor restaurant seating which is nice. I will be back and I definitely want to try lunch

The welcoming spirit and customer service is always a plus-pleasant, fast, but the food is the star here. I love their fish Panades. I usually get that alone or the sampler with Salbutes vegetarian style. My son loves the Oxtail Mac + Cheese and their fresh juices are superb. There's also a neighborhood vibe with culture flowing through this restaurant. They always do us right!

I would have selected 'MAYBE' if that were an option

Submitted my order at 1:36pm on a Sunday (per the email notification) 1. Oxtail 1. Stew Beef and a few desserts, $73, once all said and done nearly $100....order was dropped off at 3:59pm (per email notification). I had communication with the Door Dash Driver (DDD) after 2pm ish who discovered the order not ready as expected and would take an additional 45 mins, no issue for me, a Sunday afternoon being busy not a surprise. Then I was told by the DDD that they were advised I cancelled the beef order, I had not, I said IF they had run out that was one thing but no I had not cancelled, the DDD asked if I wanted chicken instead, then suggested I call directly, I did. A woman answered the phone and said my name, that made me feel good. I ok'd chicken as they had run out of the beef. The order arrived, surprised to see two ox tail dinners, one with plantain, I specifically noted NO PLANTAIN, and yet there it was. Luckily plantains aren't on our families allergy list (long list), we just don't enjoy them. Not sure how to feel, the Mac & Cheese is not good, the oxtail I sampled was very tender and the extra gravy I ordered was necessary. Originally on the fence I'm now off and it's a sadly it is no for me. The DDD, ANNISHA, was great, attentive and responsive. I do appreciate the customer service I received when I called, the woman who answered the phone was aware of the issue and attended to the issue. Although the lemon pie is tasty, the coconut tart dry, I feel I wasted $100, total cost including tip.

I absolutely loved this place- I wish I lived here! The place was quaint but perfect, playing Caribbean music. Hortance and the staff were kind and attentive. The service was great. Now the food.... Let me tell You! If I could rent a few extra stomachs I would! The meat pie, salbutes and the Mac and cheese with oxtail was fire!!!!! I will not hesitate to recommend this place and and return as often as I can- matter of fact lemme Call in sick and head there tonight Thanks For sharing your wonderful culture and food with us!

I really enjoyed the food. Takes a little while for the food to come out. Not traditional baked Mac and cheese but it is seasoned well. The oxtails were the stars!! Everything was pretty good. Do prepare to have a full belly! Definitely try the rum punch!

This area is not familiar to us at all, and we don't normally eat (for us) exotic cuisine. But, we were in the mood to try something new, so we stopped here. It's a colorful, cheerful little place. I think there are only like 4 tables. Apparently, it is mostly takeout. This became evident when our food was "served". We ordered a large two-meat plate and two large fried chicken plates. The two meats were "brown stew chicken" and curry goat. The meat is served in thick savory gravy/sauce. The "plates" are served with rice and fried plantains. The brown stew chicken was good. The curry goat was really good. Here's where the experience really veered sharply from our normal dining experience. The "plates" were served in takeout fold-over boxes with plastic forks. The meat itself was pretty much all adhered to bones. It was tender and delicious, but eating with our hands doesn't come naturally. So, I asked for a knife, and the sweet woman who takes the orders looked at me and said they don't have knives, and that we "just have to dig down into it". Indeed. She did give me a second plastic fork though, which I used. Nice workers. Authentic food. Huge portions. New experience which we all enjoyed.

The atmosphere is usually chill, which is another reason I enjoyed coming here so often. The food is genuinely delicious. I've had the salmon, and I'm a big fan of the wings and the juices. I used to come here regularly, and I liked the place enough that I even chose them to cater an event for my job. I gave them a specific headcount and explained how much food we would need. They assured me that everything would be taken care of, so I trusted them and put a lot of hype behind the restaurant. Unfortunately, the catering experience was a major disappointment. Not only was our order late, but there was barely enough food for everyone. After being clear about the number of people attending and trusting their team to properly prepare for the event, it felt like they completely dropped the ball. I had recommended and hyped up this place, only for the experience to be subpar and for several things to go wrong. It honestly felt like they played in my face, especially after assuring me that everything was handled. I would have given this place five stars based on the food and my previous experiences, but that catering situation left such a sour taste in my mouth that I haven't returned in quite some time. Loyalty should mean something, and it's difficult to continue supporting a business when you don't feel respected or valued as a customer. The food is still delicious, and I truly enjoyed this place for a long time. But after that experience, I don't think I'll be coming back. I'm sorry, because I really wanted to continue supporting them.

Two Hommés is truly an absolute gem in Inglewood and I highly recommend coming here because of how they've blended West African, Mexican, West Asian, and American ingredients & flavours - the food is a lovely mix of feeling light & fresh, paired with more meaty (but not dense) options, and overall very delicous. Pro-tip: Make a reservation online through Resy - this restuarant qualifies for AmEx's Resy credit! Layout & seating: The front-door faces the main streetThere are high tables, bar seating, and low tables throughout the area. I haven't used their bathroom, so I can't speak to that. Parking: There's a free, public parking lot in the back that's shared with the school, so be mindful that you're not parking in designated spots during school hours. Other times, e.g., weekends, it's fair game. It thankfully has never been packed, so I have been able to grab a spot for myself. Accessibility: The door is a little heavy, but there are no steps to get inside from the street, so that's good. The inside can feel a little cramped. Ambiance: During the late afternoon, the sunlight filters and the entire dining area feels nice but not too bright. Service: Very prompt and attentive; friendly staff. What I've tried: Pre-Summer menu 1. Duck Dibi Ssam: Senegalese smoked lamb shoulder, bib lettuce, green Shito, pickle, and suya peanuts; $52 I love the combination of Senegalese and Korean dishes here to create this juicy duck dish. I do wish there was more Shito because the amount you get is not enough for the entire plate and extras have a cost. 2. Jollof Platter: Ghanaian jollof, bomb azz black beans, plaintains, arugula salad; sauces: Scallion, BBQ jerk, cilantro-lime cream; added on root beer braised short rib; $28 + 22 (protein add-on) Absolutley tender, fall-off-the-bone short rib in a rich mole-like root beer sauce. The jollof was well cooked - definitely parboiled before cooked off at the end with the seasoning & spices, and nicely smoked. The beans were simple, but I do remember tasting the bay leaves and seasoning. The plantains were soooo well cooked; crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Summer menu 1. Suya Mushrooms and Greens: Oyster mushroom, snap peas, peanuts; $15 Absolutely scrumptious mix of suya, fresh & crunchy snap peas, and just smokey enough. I cannot stress how much everyone must try this dish, if nothing else on the menu. 2. This is, A Tasty Burger: Short rib, caramelised onions, pickles, cheddar, Gold-Coast BBQ sauce, fries; $23 Not heavy, but very filling and juicy; loved the BBQ sauce - I think there was mustard in there? Either way, the flavours were so "simple" yet flavourful. The meat felt "light", if that makes sense. 3. Lamb + White Bean Hummus: Flatbread, yassa onions, (ground) lamb bits; $21 The hummus felt very traditional Palestinian/Syrian and the ground lamb was delicious. The flatbread was reminiscent of the flatbreads from the Levant, Khubz Arabi or a type of pita - soft, pillowy, and perfect for hummus. 4. Smashed potatoes: Labneh, Lula Mae's chilli oil, fried rosemary; $15 This feels like their version of Batata Harra and it was nice; loved the fried rosemary and garlic - so crunchy and flavourful. Really rich & tangy labneh - I wonder if it's homemade or from a Lebanese store? 5. Drinks: Hommémade lemonade (jamaica) and Mocktail of the week Love the (spicy pineapple) Both drinks were well-made - a little tart, a litle sweet, and well mixed. My absolute favourite items have been the duck and the Suya Mushrooms and Greens; I cannot wait to go back and order more of the latter and try out the Big Fish, and finally try the desserts! My only issue is the noise; there's a TV that's on in the background, music playing overhead, and rather close seating to the next party (to the point that you can hear what they're saying rather clearly). Having a conversation is very difficult with all these competing sounds. Note: There is a time limit for parties of 4 or larger of 1.5 hours, so please be mindful as Two Hommés gets busy from opening to close.
