Whenever I visit Tarrytown, whether for Halloween festivities or a quick little weekend detour, I make sure to hightail it to Little B's for their DIY burgers with allll the options. I've only had their burgers and wings, so I can't vouch for the other stuff, though a friend did enjoy their loaded nachos. There's so much customization involved in making your burger, and all of the toppings and sauces sound amazing. I normally get some combo of goat cheese (so tangy and creamy and perfect in burgers), coleslaw, hot cherry peppers, grilled pineapple, sauteed mushrooms, jalapeños and/or tomato. My go-to sauces are Little B's BBQ sauce (which has a little chipotle for a nice kick), Jamaican jerk sauce, and roasted garlic mayo. I always get the brioche bun even though it has a tendency to fall apart, resulting in a deteriorating burger that looks really sad after two to three bites. The wings are tasty and the skin is nice and crispy. The maple habanero wings could've used more sauce, but the Jamaican jerk wings were spicy and flavorful. I'm a faithful fan through and through. Now bring some of that customization to more burger joints in NYC! read more

Have come here a number of times with my family. Friendly servers who are genuinely nice. Pretty bare bones interior but hey it's a burger joint. Tap list is solid although it bugs me that they say they have Heady Topper and almost never do. Generally the food has been food, with my son liking the chicken fingers and me mostly getting their premium burger blend. Bumping this down because the last visit I got sick. Burger was very light on the cheese (blue cheese) and also the bacon was a little weird. Threw up overnight. Nobody else got sick thank God, so it was likely 1 of the 2 items I mentioned; they probably knew better and served it anyway. I never get sick and lunch was about as bland as it gets, so unfortunately it was here. Place isn't cheap and there are similar options nearby, so it's going to be awhile until I'm back. I love little Bs! I love you can get a burger on a large toasted English muffin. My favorite is blue cheese, carmelized onions. I get some other toppings on the side. The grilled pineapple, glazed walnuts. They come in little cups and it's my sweet treat at the end. The fries are good. For they put really good cheese sauce on. Onion rings are very good. Ok. GO!! Had dinner before a show last Friday and I'm STILL thinking about it! Had no rez (just flying by the seat of our pants celebrating Friday) when we SMELLED this place as we walked by! Looked at the menu and decided to go in. Was immediately greeted by a super nice staff member at the door who told us the wait wouldn't be that long. We stood outside chatting after giving our name and number. Within a few minutes he came out to get us and told us there was space at the bar we were welcomed to use until our table was ready. He said he didn't want us outside waiting in the cold (so sweet). We sat down (super nice bartender) and didn't even have time to order a drink. Staff came over and sat us at our table! Our waiter was SO nice! Ordered a shot of bourbon on the rocks and he came over with it in a shot glass. He was SO apologetic he offered a second drink on the house (we ended up not needing it). A waitress bumped into my foot (was my fault really....long legs) and IMMEDIATELY apologized even though she was very busy. Now. The food. Um. I'm still dreaming of the burger I built. Home cut fries were PERFECTION. GET THE TRUFFLE MAYO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Small but yummy assortment of beets on tap. I got the IPA. With a chill unassuming storefront, i quickly realized this was actually the perfect lunch spot. The servers were kind and attentive even though we were sitting outside on the patio. We sat down as soon as they opened and by the time we left the restaurant was packed. I decided to try their seasonal wine mule. It was good! A nice change compared to a traditional mule or sangria. Very refreshing. They also had a wide variety of local beers on tap. For food I tried their seasonal turkey sandwich. Very big portion photo only showing half of the sandwich! Stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Kitchen was almost closed but they were so nice and accommodating! I started out with a caramel espresso martini that was excellent! We ordered Thai chili wings and nachos. Wings were crispy and delicious and nachos hit the spot! The best part about this restaurant is the people! The salads were rather cosmopolitan but just fine....proportionally,, too many cranberries, too few onions and a technical mistake. I asked for two dressing on the side, instead one drenched the wilted salad and the other was in a cup. The chicken was right sized and ponded thin--it seemed. I'd give it three stars with or without the gaffes. The Korean Pork slider was sloppy eating which again speaks to technical lassitude. The pork was dry and un helped by the dollop of coleslaw that was haphazardly strewn over the meat. The crab cake was not messy and perfectly sized. I really wanted to like this place but it was honestly just Ok. The biggest disappointments were the service and burgers. Despite all of the negative reviews regarding the service, we tried it today. We primarily tried them because there was no wait time. Only 1 other table was filled when we arrived around 4pm on a Saturday late afternoon. We ordered beef sliders, make your own burger, fries, IPA and juice and empanadas. First of all, I was thrilled to try their empanadas! I was shocked to see that they were smaller than a finger. They were good though. The sliders were just Ok. My son didn't enjoy them at all (they weren't bad in my opinion). My hubby had the burger with bacon and cheese. He didn't like it at all. The brioche bread was super stale and basically kept falling apart while eating. Super disappointed for a $19 burger. Price was OK because it came with fries. The fries were actually delicious! Real potatoes with sea salt. The wings were quite good also. Overall I would not return. The server (Wade) on our receipt, seemed like he was annoyed that we were newbies and didn't explain anything nor cracked a smile. Discovered this place a few months back during my first trip to Tarrytown. A great little burger spot and bar. The burger was absolutely delicious. I chose the build a burger and had mine with avocado, bacon and a fried egg. Wow! It was perfectly cooked and the ingredients fresh and yummy! A great burger! I chose fresh cut fries to go with it and it was perfect! I have been back since then and the experience was just as enjoyable and the food delish! Not to mention I love the atmosphere and ambience of the place which has outdoor dining in nice weather. Cozy and relaxing! The service was friendly and helpful with questions. I believe his name was Felix and he was an excellent server both times I was there. Last but not least, the cocktails from their craft cocktail menu I had both times as an after-lunch treat were absolutely delicious! I have enjoyed everything I've ordered at Little B's. The wings i ask for well done and they always are. They offer a large selection of sauces for the wings. They are always cooked the way I like. I've gotten them in other establishments but i prefer Little B's. I prefer several especially the jerk sauce. In general i don't drink but i did there. I had a margarita and it was very good. This is a laid back bar and burger spot in the heart of Tarrytown where you can get a good sandwich at a pretty fantastic price. The servers were friendly enough (though we did have to ask for napkins) and the portions were large enough that we were full but still each took half of our respective sandwiches home! We didn't try the build your own option that they're known for, but the short rib sandwich and shrimp po' boy were both tasty! My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on my birthday. It's a really cozy place, with plenty of seating and efficient and friendly service. This was easily one of the best burgers I've had at a restaurant. We really liked their build your own burger menu, and how generous they are with the toppings included in that deal (4 not including the two sauces!!). I got a beef burger with cheddar, dill pickles, tomato, field greens, and cole slaw- with mayo and ketchup- and a side of fries. They seem to have burgers down to a science here, because ours were cooked perfectly, and they even put all of the more cumbersome/crunchy toppings underneath the patty so that they wouldn't fall out!! They also have a great beer/cider selection, and some specialty cocktails which we didn't order but looked good. Had a great burger, fries and beer before a show. We were pleasantly surprised to find a table an hour before a show because we were running behind trying to find a parking space. I ordered an Angie's beef burger on brioche bun with cheddar, tomato lettuce grilled onions and mushrooms and it was delicious, cooked perfectly medium rare charred on outside and very good quality meat. Maybe more rare but meat was so good glad it was rare. There could've been more fries with it but the truffle parm and crispy hand cut fries was great and beer to top it off. Service was perfect and we were out in an hour only missed a few min of opener. I make perfect burgers on my Weber at home- black outside red med rare inside but this was even better just really good meat not greasy. Uninspired vegan options definitely left a bit to be desired, but I would return given the relatively low price point and build your own burger section of the menu. I ordered every vegan option on the menu (taco salad, empeñadas and Mac and cheese) and wasn't blown away by any of them. Although each were decently tasty, the taco salad was very bland with iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, cubes of vegan cheese (not shredded, literally cubes of probably sliced packaged vegan cheese), a few very small pieces of avocado and whole tortilla chips surrounding the outside (weird choice...). Not visually pleasing at all, and nothing particularly creative. The weirdest part was the "impossible meat" listed on the menu for the taco salad was just a cooked impossible burger flopped on top. Taste was ok, but hard to really call this a taco salad. The vegan Mac and cheese was good, decent taste and not too "vegan cheese" tasting. The empeñadas were fine but just cut up impossible burger inside an empeñada shell. A little lack luster. First off the decorations and the vibe of the entire place was perfect, seating was great especially for a bar table. The menu was dope because it was presented as an old Compact Disc case (CD case) with an actual CD inside (Yes I made sure to ask if I could take it home lol) the bartender said nah. Anyways you had to either scan the barcode in front of the CD or the bartender will give you a menu to build your meal and a pen to circle whatever topping you want. I ordered a bison medium rare burger with a couple toppings with Truffle Parmesan Fries with bacon. Everything was high quality most definitely worth every penny. I love the build your own burger concept and really love that they have vegan options on the menu! They have beyond, black bean & veggie options for the patty, vegan cheese & mayo and a variety of toppings you can add to your burger. Their vegan option for bread is their whole wheat bun. I always get their truffle fries with no cheese and I think they are the best truffle fries in Westchester. They also offer other vegan items on their menu such as empanadas, mac & cheese & taco salad which I haven't tried yet but glad to see they are accommodating us! Wasn't particularly hungry, but had some time to kill and the spot isn't too far from the train station. Menu is your general selection of bar food, particularly specializing in burgers. Decided to split the nachos ($6) to go along with an IPA ($8). The "nachos" were essentially warm chips underneath an assortment of various sauces (no guac or jalapenos). Despite that, the dish was actually pretty good and just the right amount of food for people who weren't hungry. And by the way, if you're a beer drinker and unsure of taste, Little b's can give you samples. Music was very nice as Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff played in the background. My Black Bean Burger tasted good and Sweet Potato Fries were crunchy with a nice amount of Sea Salt. My husband on the other hand, went for the Short Rib Burger which he thought was good. But right towards the end, we wanted to grab our girl's attention but she was chatting it up in the back with the fellas and completely oblivious to her tables. The other girls also, had this freaking lackadaisical look to them. But to add on to the misery, a family of 5 (seemed like a Grandmother, her daughter and her small children) wanted to sit at a table of 6. However, a waitress suggested that the family sit at the table with 4 chairs- and that she would add a 5th chair closer to main aisle- therefore making the woman's young child, look like a lump on a log. According to my husband who heard the entire conversation- when the waitress said to the family, "you can't sit at the bigger table because we have a show later on". What the f*ck? You mean, you're not letting a family sit, enjoy dinner and PAY because you're holding that bigger table for a show that won't even start for about 4 hours down the line? Not f*cking cool Little b's!!!!!! And you didn't even try to fully accommodate this family! How do you run your business? Please don't even get me started! I really don't know what makes this burger joint so special. But I can DEFINITELY see the poor ratings time and time and time again. Also seems that poor service and lack of communication haunts them every time. Then do something about it!!!
