Little B's was great! We stopped here for dinner after being told the wait where we wanted to go was over an hour, and I'm glad we did. We asked to sit outside, which is were we ended up being seated. Even though we were the only table outdoors, we were still given excellent service. At first $12 bucks for a burger and fries seemed a little pricey (but what isn't in NY), but it was totally worth it. Burgers were cooked perfectly to our order and came out super quickly. Meat was fresh and of high quality, as were their other ingredients. I will deffinetly be going back to Little B's next time I am in the area. read more

Really good little restaurant and bar. It's kind of a blink and you miss it frontage area, but most of the places on main street are the same way. The seating is mostly up front with a small bar in the back, where I sat. They have 6 taps and a bunch of bottles and cans for the beer selection, there is also a pretty good hard liquor selection behind the bar. I had had a really good Troeg's wheat beer. The menu looked really good and the wings kinda jumped out at me there. I got the honey sriracha. They are nice meaty wings and the sauce was absolutely delicious. It was sweet and a little hot. I was told to try the burger, so of course I did. They have a choose your own adventure menu for burgers and salads. There is a pic of the list that someone posted. I got the angus beef on whole wheat, with smoked Gouda, field greens, tomato, jalapeño, bacon and chipotle mayo, with fries. It was cooked nicely and super flavorful. Ive never had a really bad burger as this place literally had one bit did not enjoy it ordered well done and came medium and on top the burger was so wet buns were soaking. I was told this spot is a burger spot clearly not. Also ordered wings and the we're horrid they were rubbery like. The only plus side was the sauce for the wings thats the only good reason. Terrible service, terrible environment. There are too many good burgers around Tarrytown to justify wasting your time at this restaurant. The tired curtains blocking your entrance should be your first warning of the experience ahead, and the walls aren't the only thing that will have you seeing red. The 'club-like' atmosphere is tacky and outdated, and also caused my server to acknowledge, but never admit not hearing half of my order. Luckily it also meant not being charged. Do yourself a favor and go to Demeter's if you want a great bar food experience. And please, Little B's, find someone to manage your restaurant. I have written a couple of reviews of Little B's in the past. All were good! Something has changed and not for the better! Stopped on a Wednesday night for a burger. Red Flag...nobody was there at 6:30 pm. Just a couple of people at the bar. Waiter not very attentive and very sullen. Ordered standard fare..cheddar burger medium...fries and a diet coke. All were AWFUL even the coke was terrible. When is the last time they cleaned that line? Ordered MEDIUM.....on an English Muffin. In the past the muffin was fresh and the burger juicy. This one....the outside of the burger was cooked but the middle was almost still cold. The fries in the past were good...these were Burnt hard. I told the waiter it was awful and he just shrugged his shoulders and gave us the bill. The chef was sitting outside at the bar....I asked him to tell the chef....he just ran the card and that was it. Not going back....ever! read more

The food here is wonderful. Fresh ingredients, consistent quality and presentation. Good service. Menu has something to please everyone. But for the love of all things important in this world ... please please please stop putting plastic silverware and ketchup packets in your to go order bags! Those bags are then stapled up so someone picking up the order (me) who wants to check and make sure there is no plastic silverware, can't (unless I awkwardly rip open the bag and dig through it to verify). You do such a good job of avoiding plastic to go containers - why ruin it? You also have the plastic silverware and ketchup packets conveniently available for someone who wants them to grab. Would love to update this review to 5 stars the next time I pick up a to go order and don't have to suffer a giant guilt trip when I open up the bag at home and find myself adding to the single use plastic waste problem slowly clogging our oceans. read more

Even though it wasn't busy it took a while before someone came for our orders. There were 3 of us. We ordered the shrimp and crab empanada's appetizer, my wife and I ordered a build your own burger (there was no option for how you wanted it cooked so we wrote it on the order form, she likes hers WELL DONE),I got onion rings and she got fries, my daughter got a chicken slider and 6 teriyaki wings, topped off with 2 lemonades and a water. After about 40 minutes everything but the empanadas came out. I asked about them and he said they were in the fryer, no problem. My order was fine, the burger was pretty soggy but tasted good, the onion rings were very salty but I really liked them. My wife's burger was so rare it was still moving around the dish. Fries were good but again really salty. My daughters chicken slider was burnt on the edges but raw and gooey inside, and the wings were undercooked and were in a literal lake of teriyaki sauce. Still no empanada appetizer and no one around to ask. Finally grabbed the server and asked for the bill and asked him to just take the appetizer off since we didn't get it. He came back and said it's been done for a while, I asked someone to bring it out, but they didn't. Do you still want to eat it? No, I do not want to eat an appetizer that's been done for a while and sitting on the counter after we've finished our meal. All in all, I was very disappointed and have no plans on returning. Girlfriend and I took a day trip up to check out Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown and decided to eat in town. There were a number of options, but this place had good reviews and was close, so we stopped in. They had outside seating which was great, and a big menu. The beer list also had a good number of options. We both got the build your own burger, and shared a side of chili cheese fries which were recommended by the guy at the table next to us. Everything was awesome, and the food had GIANT portions. The chili cheese fries were absolutely worth recommending, as were the giant burgers we had. My husband picked me up from work in White Plains and we wanted burgers, so we checked this place out before heading home to Rockland. The waitress was short with us and made us feel rushed (we were her second table and the first had already ordered). She also didn't mention that one of the burger specials was not available until I ordered it. Lucky me. The burger that I did order was pretty flavorless, as if the patties were not seasoned at all. The jalapenos were pickled or bottled or something and had no flavor or spice. The fries were basically brown (old oil?) and had an awful texture that was neither crispy nor mushy. We left totally unsatisfied and ended up eating again a couple of hours later. Please stop opening burger joints because they are trendy. Come up with original, rotating special burgers and leave the build-your-own to fast food. If someone has a special order, list the toppings on the bottom of the menu. Decide if you want to look nice or casual. Finding good food in Rockland and Westchester is impossible because townie crap like this is everywhere and no one has working tastebuds. I tried Little B's twice now. I really want to like this place because it's a cool idea and it's nice to have a bar in Tarrytown that serves food late at night. The first time I went there I ordered my burger on a gluten free bun ( I can't have gluten) and the waitress came back like 5 minutes later and said they had run out of gf buns. That was dissapointing. The waitress was not nice about us deciding not to order meals after all. My boyfriend and I just ordered drinks and sweet potato fries, which were delicious. When we went to pay for our drinks and fries we noticed that they charged us for an extra drink. When we told the waitiress she gave us a long explanation about how she didn't do it on purpose and the buttons are close together (we weren't accusing her.. but it was kinda weird that she was so defensive) Then the next time we went back was to meet some friends for drinks. I had some of my friend's burger and it was delicious. The regular french fries were good too. My boyfriend and I each got a drink, and again they charged us for an extra drink. Once is understandable but twice is a little weird. When we (nicely) told the guy that this was the second time it's happened he said "I didn't do it the first time" ... ok. Verdict: Good place to grab a casual burger or fries when you're in the mood. Good selection of beers and a full bar. The crowd is a little hipster and the wait staff is a little out of it. My first time at little B's Ok let's be honest, this is a burger joint. Family friendly, great price point. Continuity is essential to keep a business running. With that said, we started off with one waitress and halfway through the meal I didn't know who was serving us. I ordered a coke several times, each time it came in a different sized glass, highball glass, water glass, pint glass. They serve the burgers medium well unless otherwise instructed, but for health reasons, I think they should cook them well unless otherwise Instructed. There was a wall full of specials that we were never told about. The menu should offer a brioche bun, and the other buns should actually be the size of the burger, and toasting the bun is a good idea. Classic Yellow American cheese should be a choice! And food should arrive at your table hot! With these simple changes, they'll have a more enjoyable restaurant. I don't lower my standards because I'm eating in a burger joint, and neither should you. I will go back, because this place has the potential to be great See ya! read more

When this place first opened, last year (?), I wasn't thrilled but a couple of weeks ago I gave it another go and boy am I happy I did. I have been back twice since then. I am a huge burger fan, possibly my favorite food. However, I cannot resist getting their portobello burger when I'm there. It is just so beefy and flavorful that I talk about it when I'm not there! Dare I say their portobello burger could make me give up meat? No I take it back! But it's almost THAT good. My friend and I came here 4/17/13 and the waitress LOST our order (yes I said LOST), which they only admitted 30 mins later when we had 20 mins left b4 our Hugh Masakela show started at the Tarrytown Music Hall down the street. She apologized profusely; did everything she could to make up for it including rushing some quick orders & "comp-ing" ALL incl our 2 drinks each and new food orders - making sure we had something to eat & some to go. Positives were: You can build your own burger or build your own salad. The baby back sliders are the truth (according to my friend) & the regular sliders were great. Reasonably priced drinks. Sweet potato fries are also better than average. We made it to the show at 8:01pm on the dot! Truth is the burgers were so good I would go back. I should have gone with my gut instincts when I first approached this eatery. There was a man hanging out in the outdoor eating area in front of the restaurant smoking a cigar who seemed like a prototypical Rivertowns 50-something wanna-be hipster trying hard to be cool in his brown leather jacket, dark sunglasses, and skinny fashioniesta jeans - but he only succeeded in matching the creepiness of John Waters (who IS actually cool). My daughter and I walked through his noxious fumes, and had a seat. Our goal was a burger, fries and an ice cream shake after an active Saturday afternoon. The place is what it is, a burger joint/bar and despite the preponderance of tweens at another table, I didn't expect anything more. I'll give credit where it is due, and say that the burger I built was ok. The didn't ask how we wanted it cook, but it came out medium rare. What really saved it was the brioche bun, followed by the goat cheese, mixed greens, ketchup and truffle mayonnaise - and the fact that I was so famished that I would have probably inhaled any burger between two pieces of bread at that point. If you are itching for a REALLY good burger, go up the block and get a grass-fed beef burger at Sweet Grass. Besides the burger, it was down hill. Our glasses were dirty, as was the bottle of lukewarm water that was brought to the table. Our food attendant was apathetic in almost every way, except to oblige me for a glass of ice to go with my water. The fries, which I was initially excited about - topped with a parmesan truffle coating were mostly burnt and without substance. My daughter barely touched her plain ones - even when after she added a heaping glob of ketchup. Even still, this is not why I give this restaurant a 1 star rating. While the burger satiated, we were both really looking forward to our ice cream shake. It finally arrived, after ordering it twice, and I was then SHOCKED to see that these $5.00 shakes came in the equivalent of a child size cup. I gently asked the waitress if it was a mistake, and when she didn't bat an eyelash, I then asked if Mayor Bloomberg's city ordinance on sugary drinks had permeated the River Towns. Then.. she insulted my intelligence. She quipped that the cups actually held 16 oz. This was such a bald faced lie that I couldn't even find a come back. I acknowledged to myself that she didn't create the policy of trying to pawn off this paltry beverage for $5.00 and that arguing wasn't going to make me feel any better. However, the fact that she either believed that the tiny cup my daughter and I held in our hands held 16 oz, or believed she could convince us that it did was the final straw in an annoying eating experience. I kindly promised her I would simply write a review on Yelp (My first bad one up to this point) to which she loyally protested, "Please don't." This should have been my response to the incredulity of her handing us these shakes with a straight face. I'd pay $10 bucks for a great ice cream shake (and the good places give you the extra that is in the aluminum mixing cup), but don't hand me a dollop, charge me $5 bucks for it (x2) and try and say it is something is not. I went home, and showed my wife the cup and told her the story. For fun, we decided to measure the contents of the cup.. (8 oz) if filled to where ours was.. maybe 10oz if filled to the top. Not even close to 16oz. I wish I could post an accompanying picture of it. Here's a tip. Give your customers what they want. Went for dinner, got the table near the door. Here's a tip: when it's 17 degrees outside... wait for another table. So the servers were good and attentive but when the food arrived my bacon wasn't cooked so I sent it back. Within 60 seconds I got it back with different uncooked bacon. So I told them to keep it. The fries are a mix of shoestring and large plank style. Looks like they cook them all the same amount of time together which shows because the thin fries were fine but the larger ones were seriously undercooked. It's a shame because the burgers were good. My girlfriend's dad gave us a $15 coupon towards this place, so we decided to try it out this past weekend. I have heard many good things, so my expectations were on the higher side of the spectrum. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food wasn't terrible, (in fact I would say it was pretty good), but it wasn't anything to write home about. First off, we had to flag someone down to sit us, after at least two servers made eye contact with us and ignored us. I also didn't like that they didn't ask my how I wanted my burger cooked. As for the food, the bbq wings were satisfactory. The sweet potato fries were excellent. And the burger was good, but a little too cooked for my liking. I also liked the beer selection, as many craft beers were on tap. If it weren't for the service, I might have given it a half star more. That is mostly due to the menu, which offers some creative, juicy takes on the good ol' hamburger plus bun thing. There is a wide range of toppings you can add if you want to personalize your order.
