My chilean Seabass was $62 or $69 and it was like 3 ounces. It's was the little piece of fish I had ever seen in my life.. my salad was supposed to be the wedge that lettuce had the worst bitter taste ever. The Lobster Risotto was really good , the portion of Lobster was maybe 2 oz. But Very good . The Brussel sprouts were very crispy and black . My friend was thrilled to celebrate a significant accomplishment at Gordon Ramsay Steak. I called ahead to ask if I could send over a bottle of champagne or some desserts, and the general manager kindly called me back and arranged everything on the house. The place is super friendly. It's very fine dining. They treat you right and you feel special. My husband loved his meal, and so did my mother. I'm more, of a casual eater so spending that much money (and it was a lot of money) on a meal that I don't even care for was painful. (I'm not a fish eater of a big meat person, so there wasn't much for me) We also ordered some truffle fries for a side- they did not bring them out until we were done eating and they weren't salty. One of the waiters said they don't salt them ...who doesn't salt fries?! But they ended up taking them off the bill, so that was nice. read more

we love this place. the service is always wonderful. we ordered the artichoke appetizer. those were light and really good. the shrimp cocktail are the best. they are the biggest shrimp on earth. the crab cakes are so good. the seared scallops are always good but my son's were a little under cooked but they fixed the problem. my wife always loves her steak there. the asparagus were pretty good. the macaroni and cheese was pretty decent. We've been here several times before. Always excellent service. This evening, my husband, and I both got the 8 ounce filet mignon's, his medium and mine medium well butterflied. We've had these a couple times before, but they were excellently prepared, very flavorful. We split the generous,, delicious wedge salad... Lots of blue cheese and green goddess dressing if you like. We also split a loaded, baked potato, and an order of mushrooms, a perfect complement to the steaks. The entire staff is so cordial and welcoming. Everything was spot on. A nice restaurant in the Caesar's casino Indiana. Highly recommend the filet and lamb dish. Highly recommend pairing it with asparagus and mushrooms. The service was impeccable, the wait staff did a wonderful job. They also make delicious cocktails, I really enjoyed the Piccadilly Circus . Beyond disappointed. The bread tasted wonderful, and my two colleagues' meals were great, but my beef Wellington was inedible. The meat was refrigerator-cold, and the crust had a soggy, slimy texture. I requested unsweetened iced tea and received a bottle that I have nothing positive to say about. The wait staff was outstanding. The environment was excessively loud due to concert, but it quieted down once the concert started. I drove two hours specifically for the beef Wellington, so saying I was disappointed to receive swill is an understatement. I can only assume they do not closely inspect items taken from the refrigerator. The BF made reservations for a date night and he said they called beforehand to confirm our reservation and asked if it was a special event to see if they can make it special. There was a rose waiting when we got to our table. Alex was our server, he was really nice and very knowledgeable about all the menu options & wine pairings. The table was set beautifully and you can see that they are really good at the attention to details and setting a relaxed atmosphere. I got the striped bass with a glass of Sauvignon blanc and beau got the Beef Wellington, we also ordered a side of Mac & cheese and truffle fries. Everything was delicious and the portions were bigger than expected. But beautifully plated.I think there a lot of hype with the name of the place, but if you are just looking for some place to eat in the area and want to try something different, this is the place. Now if I could have the wait staff at every place I ate, I would never eat at home because they were phenomenal. They stayed attentive and didn't rush us and were very knowledgeable about the menu & restaurant offerings. The absolute best service we've had at any steakhouse in the Louisville area. Host, server, food runner, everyone was friendly and down to earth despite how high end the ambiance was. The setting is gorgeous, beautiful for a date night. The plaid tile in the dining room was so unique and beautifully done, I want it in my house. I'll also say this: this meal was very pricey compared to Jeff Ruby's or Repeal. We don't usually top $300 for two of us, but after tip, we spent $325 here. This is what we got, all phenomenal: 2 filets, both medium rare. They were cooked perfectly. One had truffle butter, the other had peppercorn sauce. We split the asparagus and loaded baked potato as side. The hollandaise on the asparagus was so good, had hints of lemon and was really creamy. Loaded potato had thick chunks of bacon, loved that. Also had a Caesar salad to start, no regrets there. Huge salad for $16, enough to split. We also ordered an Old Fashioned and the Million Dollar margarita -- both were perfectly executed. Delicious, smooth, and boozy. For our anniversary, they brought us out a little complimentary vanilla bean and raspberry cheesecake. Holy moly, delightful little cake! Parking is simple, easy and free. Be on alert though because there was a random guy walking through the parking lot and seemed to be heading my way. Once you get inside, you have to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant. Not a lot of signage directing you the right way so we asked the security person checking ids where to go. If you don't like smoke, be prepared that it is smokey walking through there. We were seated pretty immediately. Everyone was very nice. Megan was our waitress with her partner Liz I think. To my were very attentive almost too attentive. They came to the table or just passed the table almost every minute. A little excessive. My friend and I both ordered the beef Wellington since it was their signature dish. It all had really good flavor but the food was lukewarm. I would've preferred it to be hotter but it also seems like they always serve it that way. The food was good but it is not something that I would crave to come back. WOW! What an experience. Huge thanks to our host, Kenny, for the warm Valentine's Day welcome, seating us comfortably and quickly in the beautiful, yet low lit dining room, and checking in on us very routinely to ensure our comfort. Our waitress Sothary wasted no time on our drinks, and even gave us a full run down on the menu, yes a head to toe detail on Spirits, Wines, cocktails and specials, Appetizers, signature dishes, desserts and not only her favorites, but other staff favorites as well. This was a new experience for us but she made it so smooth, I cannot wait for our next visit. Chef Juan greeted us after the food came to the table to ensure our dishes came out top notch (of course they did, Beef Wellington was phenomenal!) and this only added onto the incredible hospitality that had already been displayed. It did not stop there, as the managerial team also came to independently to introduce themselves and as a gesture of kindness, allowed us to settle our decision on dessert choice by insisting on trying their featured cheesecake dish on the house. Had another amazing experience at Gordon Ramsay last night! We made reservations for 7:00pm for 4 people. We arrived at 6:50pm to check in. We were seated promptly at 7:00pm. Every staff member we passed on the way to our table greeted us. This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first time I sat at the bar. This time we were seated closer to the kitchen. I would say the ambiance was seamless from front to back of the restaurant- dimly lit & upscale. Carleen was our waitress. She was super sweet, upbeat, and attentive. We have been to several Ramsay restaurants in several areas. I expect a fine dining experience from them. This restaurant is located right next to the casino, however you cannot hear the casino from it. Service was really great. I ordered the filet and it was fantastic , as was the asparagus. Spouses steak was not cooked to temperature requested, which we sent back and was corrected. The manager came out and personally apologized. The odd thing is that she came out with a baked potato and was like here...here's a free potato. We didn't want that... The cheesecake dessert was really good too. I have been a fan of Gordon Ramsey way before he crossed the pond and became a household name for most of the world. I learned about him by watching the F word and Kitchen Nightmares (the British version) on BBC. So, when I heard that he was opening a restaurant in Ceasar Casino just across the river I could not wait to go. But alas, I could never get reservations... But as the newest wore off, I was able to finally secure a reservation and was very excited to get to go. I must say it took me a few minutes to find the correct entrance. My trusty GPS routed me to a path that was blocked, so I had to turn around and go into the Casino Parking, the first entrance going south on 111. So, you just park, walk in through the Casino, head toward the back and the restaurant is on the right. The décor is as you would expect for any high-end steak house. They have an open kitchen, I kind of expected to hear YES CHEF, but I never did. We were shown to our table. We had multiple people come by to tell us about their wines, the cocktails, etc... We both settled on Old Forester 1924 Old Fashions. They were so good we had 2. They brought out our bread, which was very good. We ordered Hot Duck on a cornbread puree and Steak Tartar as appetizers. The Duck had a honey glaze, and the Cornbread Puree was fantastic. I never even knew you could puree cornbread. Of course, both were excellent. I ordered British Ale Onion soup; my wife had the market wedge salad. She could only eat half. The soup was different than I had before. Very rich and thick. But very good. For my main course I ordered the Beef Wellington, Ramsey's signature dish, my wife had had grilled pork chops. My wife could not finish her dish, and it took all I had to finish mine. It was so good I did not want to stop eating. It came with pureed potatoes and root vegetables. As I sat there contemplating how I was going to get up... They brought out the dessert menu. My wife would not take no for an answer, so we ordered. I ordered Cheesecake and my wife ordered the sticky toffee pudding. Both were wonderful. I had wanted to stop at a cigar bar on the way home, but I was just too full. All in all, it was well worth the trip. My daughter found out I went and now she is planning a trip to see me just so I can take her to Gordon's restaurant. read more

My wife and I drove down about two hours from the Indianapolis area to celebrate our birthdays (two days apart) at Gordon Ramsay Steak. Despite it being a long drive on a rainy spring afternoon, we were excited for the celebration dinner. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The waitress and her assistant were friendly and helpful. The ambience is great and we were ready to enjoy the evening. Things started off well with delicious foccacia and the lobster risotto was spectacular. But we also ordered a roasted cauliflower appetizer that really was not very good--it needed to be roasted longer. Instead, it was too soft and just did not taste all that great. If that had been the worst part, it would still have been a good dinner. But . . . The Beef Wellington was okay, but not as good as what we have had before and it really didn't live up to being a Gordon Ramsay signature dish. The worst part, however, was the scallops that I ordered as an accompaniment. They looked wonderful, but then I took a bite. They were so salty they burned my mouth and were simply inedible. Alison, the waitress, took them away and got new ones. The replacements were raw on the inside and the one bite that I took from the edge was still too salty. I love scallops, but these just hurt. Three hours later, I am still tasting that salt burn. We had the sticky toffee pudding with brown butter ice cream for dessert which was very good. But we overheard a waiter tell the table next to us telling the gentleman seated there that he had a birthday dessert compliments of the house. We looked at each other and felt sad. No celebration for the two of us, I guess. When we go out to dinner to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, most nice restaurants will at least write a greeting in chocolate on the dessert plate and most offer a free dessert. But not Gordon Ramsay Steak, at least not for us. The hostess DID wish us happy birthday when she seated us, but that was it. When the bill came, the scallops were still on there. I paid the $25 for nasty salty scallops I did not eat and wish I had not tasted. And I paid for the dessert that was not nearly so good after I heard other people getting a birthday treat for free. The long drive home in the water-logged April night was marked by us sadly apologizing to one another for the dinner. We both knew it was not our fault and we kept trying to remember the risotto. But we were so disappointed. Lesson learned: we will not be making a long drive back to Gordon Ramsay Steak. There are better restaurants much closer to home. For the total cost of our bill, we could have had the tasting menu at Vida and been home much sooner and I would be happier without the salt burn and the bad taste left by the experience. read more

We may have went a little crazy on the ordering. Drinks: Bottle of Moscato. Yummmm 1 old fashioned. 1 London fog and it was so neat, smoke and all. Dinner: 8 oz filet. 22oz bone in rib-eye. Both were the best steaks we have ever had. So delicious and buttery. Spinach. Not my favorite. My husband liked it. Loaded baked potato. So good! Gouda cheese. Yes please! Truffle fries. AMAZING. Mac & cheese. One of the best macs I've tasted. Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding The bottom of the pudding cake was a little burned and a bit dry. But the toffee was so delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary on March 21 at Gordon at Caesars Indiana. Here are some of the things that you need to know. 1. they offer you two types of water. Purified, which actually means tap water or premium water. Which they don't tell you will cost you $12 or more at this point. The last time that we dined at Gordon Ramsey the water was core water which you can get at the dollar tree for $1.50. 2. we ordered their wedge salad which came with two small slices of bib lettuce with a few toppings and a green goddess dressing. They only dressing they serve is green goddess. The toppings on the salad were so hard and un edible with some undescribable toppings. I think you would've needed a hammer to smash them into small pieces and then still not be able to eat them. 3. My husband.ordered an 8 ounce steak,well done butterfly so it would not be burnt, and a baked potato. The first steak was burnt on the top and bottom and the steak was rare. A man in a suit came over and said they made a mistake, and gave him the wrong steak then he left. And the waiter brought another .The second steak again burnt on the top of the bottom and not well done. They gave him a butter knife to cut into the steak. The baked potato was still raw and slightly warm. 4. I ordered salmon well done and got cold and more like sushi. 5. they did bring two pieces of bread to the table, which was just a loaf of bread cut into two pieces with a small amount of butter. If you want extra bread, it'll cost you an extra $1.50. 6. We were supposed to get dessert, however, what we got was the bill slapped on the table. And the waiter leaving immediately. We waited about 20 minutes for him to come back so we could pay the bill. And I finally got tired added some money and walked out. 7. We were seated at a back table and four other couples came in after us. Those four couples had their drinks, appetizers and food before we received our salad. 8. My husband ordered a beer and it cost us almost 9 dollars. Earlier we were at the casino we bought one beer and one strawberry daiquiri and it cost us $11 for both. 9. when we left the hostess, ask us if we enjoyed our meal. So I told her about our experience and then I would be doing a review. She said whatever. 10. The bill was over.$220.00. 11. On the open table there are a lot of reviews. I guess it just depends on who is the chef of the night and who you get as your waiter. 12. We went over to the Aroma Cafe at the hotel and had Chef Salads which comes with four types of dressing. was much better than the so-called Gordon Ramsay. 13. My boyfriend and I ate at Gordon Ramsay's for date night last night and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! The service was great and the food and cocktails were even better. He got the blackberry bourbon smash and I got the pepino picante to start, both incredible cocktails. If you like cucumber and you like spicy margaritas - you will love the pepino picante cocktail! We got the broiled oysters and the lobster rolls as appetizers and both were really good. I LOVE lobster rolls and theirs were very tasty! Lawd, I am still salvating from the divine meal experienced last Wednesday. Jonathan, our server, went above and BEYOND. As did ALL employees. You can !lways expect this level of diligent rigor when visiting a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. And this newer location LEADS the pack through exemplary service! I've visited over seven of his restaurants, including the flagship in England; yet Southern Indiana provided the best experience yet - and the executive chef wasn't even in! The decor was classic Gordon. From the lobster bisque, onion soup, and caesar salad with a beautifully cooked scotch egg... one cannot go wrong. We opted for the heirloom carrots, a must. The butternut squash puree made me lick the plate and it's Bourbon glaze hit every note. Next, my husband ordered the classic, Beef Willington. Also cooked to sheer PERFECTION. Brava! Not an easy three day cooking feat. I opted for the divine truffle lobster risotta, with an extra lobster tail. I mean, wow... Talk about risotto heaven! Another Gordon staple that cannot be missed. Whether as a shared appetizer or your entree. Finally, we finished the meal with Gordon's grandmother sticky toffee pudding. Talk about falling into a pudding puddle of Bliss and never wanting to leave. That pudding puddle is where I want to die! On a serious note, our servers mom is the pastry chef of this location and she did NOT disappoint. I NEVER liked ice cream in my life UNTIL her magical brown sugar ice cream that paired with the pudding. Imagine being transported to a fluffy ice cream cloud that doesn't give you a brain freeze - yup, that was me. While this meal did run us $300 and a 45 minutw drive, it was worth every penny and the almost two hours in the car! That's how much we love yoi, Gordon! But mostly, we will continue the drive and spending due to the extreme care, consistency in food, and excellent ability to distinguish individual flavors with each and every dish ordered. We made reservations a few months ago as we were super excited that we would have a Gordon Ramsays relatively close to home since had been wanting a beef Wellington ever since I had one at his steakhouse in vegas. Let's start with if you're having issues getting reservations on OpenTable you can walk up and get a table as well. They weren't busy at 915pm last night yet there were no reservations. We started with an appetizer of Tuna Tartare with crackers which came out very fast. The flavor was great and the crackers they served with it hold up well to the tuna and avocado. Our entrees came out before we were finished with our appetizer which the server was even shocked as he hadn't fired it in the system yet. As in most upscale restaurants you should have a brief time in between courses. I ordered the beef Wellington that comes with a potato purée (smear of mashed potatoes) and root veggies. Unfortunately I did have to send my dish back as it came out ice cold. Once I got a replacement the food was delicious. Exactly as I had expected. The sides are very small which I had already expected however it could be a downfall for some. My husband ordered the Roasted chicken breast with a corn cake and greens. He also had to send his back as it was ice cold. The other issue with his entree was it is not a breast it was a leg/thigh quarter so be prepared if you don't like dark meat. However once he received a hot meal it was delicious. The skin on the chicken has a nice light crunch, the greens were flavorful and plentiful. The corn cake had a great flavor as well. We also ordered a side of truffle fries as we had them at Gordon's burger restaurant in Vegas and they did not disappoint and the serving is big enough for 3-4 people. Served with a side of ketchup and truffle sauce. For alcoholic beverages I had 2 Piccadilly Circus' they are strong but have a great flavor and the cherries on top are super sweet. Husband had 2 old fashioned which were very alcohol forward. They definitely pour heavy which is a good thing. For dessert they were out of the sticky toffee pudding which was a let down however we did try the chocolate pot de cream and it was delicious. To be all chocolate it wasn't overwhelmingly chocolatey. Husband had an Irish coffee with dessert and it was made with fresh French press coffee. Our server Michael was amazing he took great care of us and made sure to have the manager take care of us since we had to send our food back. I do have to say it seemed like every table sent at least one item back. They have only been open a week so I will say overall they aren't doing too bad. I brought a large group here to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The staff was friendly and treated us well, but for the price, the food was just average. For example, a $100 steak doesn't include any sides--they're all extra (salad, butter, potatoes, etc). Also when you pay the $6 for the butter for your steak, it does not come out melting on the steak. There were also some policies that made the experience less enjoyable. With such a large group, we wanted to have a couple of people cover the bill, but the restaurant wouldn't split payments at all (even though the place wasn't busy). We also brought a cake for my daughter, but despite it being nearly 100 degrees outside, they wouldn't allow it inside or offer to store it in a fridge, nor even hold it at the hostess stand. While the service itself was kind, these inflexible policies and overpriced food made it hard to fully enjoy what should have been a special occasion. read more

We came here for my father's birthday and I'm beyond pleased that I FINALLY got to try the famous Gordon Ramsay beef wellington! It was well worth the wait and I understand why it's his signature dish. The flavors were phenomenal and it was cooked to perfection! We also enjoyed the king crab legs, lobster risotto, and the Caesar salad with Scotch egg. The pork belly lives rent-free in my head! I will definitely be getting that when we come back, and we will be coming back. We received a complimentary sticky toffee pudding for my dad's birthday and it was out of this world. If I could swim in that brown sugar sauce I would. That's how good it is. Some people complained because some patrons were dressed casually, since we were celebrating we did dress a bit nicer, but I like the fact that it has a fairly laid back attire. This would allow me to swing by after that the casino if I felt like it, and I wouldn't have to worry about what I had on. The only downside to me is that the restaurant is located on the casino floor and therefore you have to be 21 to dine. I would have loved to take my nephew here for dinner, but he will have to wait a few years. read more

You would not expect this restaurant, because you would not expect the Caesars, in general. It seems to rise out of the abyss suddenly. There's little lighting in the area, it's dark, then...CAESAR'S. The entrances are hard to find, and you will wander around the vast property. Once we found the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and escorted in. The first thing I noticed is, thank goodness we are inside a defined, walled-off space, since we got to leave behind the cigarette smoke of the casino floor. I noticed soon after that how LOUD it is. I wound up getting used to it, but it was a bit annoying how loud it happened to be, as if the sound was bouncing off every surface imagineable. The restaurant is quite expensive, as one might expect, and you see people dressed for special occasions and people...not so much. Our waitress was very personable and even used the last name on the reservation to greet us; that was a nice touch. She was so friendly and professional the entire night. Her name is Allison - she is great! We went big for this dinner and each got an appetizer. Maybe it sounds less excessive if I mention that it was in the form of soup? My husband's soup was their British take on French onion soup, so though it was a bit different, he liked it overall. Meanwhile, I knew a lobster bisque here would be more lobster than cream or filler ingredients, and I am happy to be correct. The presentation was lovely, too, with a tableside pour...of soup. Always fun! The cocktails were terrific as well, and their drink menu overall is super wide-ranging. For our entrees, both were successes as well. My wellington was perfectly cooked and not just something they phone in, since it's a hallmark that's probably being produced 24-7. It seems minor, but special mention goes to the deeply flavorful red wine sauce. My husband got a filet that he really enjoyed, and we were both surprised to see a huge plate of truffle fries arrive. The portion is much bigger than you'd expect! Needless to say, after such a dinner, we didn't have room for dessert, but I'm sure that would've been a hit too. read more

My recent visit to Gordon Ramsay Steak was wonderful and also a memorable anniversary experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our special day truly extraordinary. Our server Michael was delightful and very attentive. The other staff were also very welcoming. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful anniversary card, adding a personal touch to the evening. The atmosphere was romantic, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. It was our first time visiting the restaurant, and we are glad we picked Gordon Ramsay Steak. I ordered the Beef Wellington. I was on the fence since the dish contains mushroom as traditional in the duxelles, which I'm not a huge fan of mushroom due to its texture. I have no regrets ordering the dish. We shared the Mac n Cheese, my husband ordered a NY Strip and a bake potato, which we loved the bacon. To sweeten the occasion, the restaurant surprised us with a delightful dessert. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was a heavenly conclusion to an already fantastic meal. read more

I've been to a few of Gordon's spots in Vegas and was so excited this one was closer to home so we took a day trip to gamble and check it out. Had dinner there were four in our party for a birthday party. Two of us ordered the beef Wellington.(the steak was cooked well but the pastry was very not crispy which it should be crispy.) so I ordered the ribeye and the salmon. Those dishes were OK. The desserts were good. I would recommend the sticky toffee bread but overall I think I could do better with cooking 400.00+dinner. It would be a good idea if Chef Ramsey came and checked on his restaurant in Indiana. read more

The restaurant is beautiful on the inside. We sat at the bar. I had the 22oz ribeye and my partner had a filet. We split a side of mashed potatoes, as the size of the sides is shareable. The food was 7/10. The flavor was good but unfortunately everything arrived cold. The steaks and the mashed potatoes were cold. The lady to the side of me was also served a dish that was cold and had it sent back. read more
