Great service and food! I came here with three friends for a late lunch on Sunday and we had such a fabulous time! Our server was very sweet and informative about the menu. My fried chicken sandwich was delicious! The chicken was crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. I was fearful of it being overcooked and difficult to eat but this was not the case. My side arugula salad was simple and fresh. The side of potatoes was delicious and the star of the show! I would highly recommend this dish as an appetizer or to share with others. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. The bathroom was clean and which i appreciated.

My family and I had a really disappointing experience here, easily one of the worst meals we've had in years. For a place called "Little Dom's Seafood," the menu barely offers any seafood at all; no clams, no crab, no lobster. Just one fish option, oysters, and maybe a shrimp dish. The rest is pizza, salad, and pasta, which felt misleading. The only thing we enjoyed was my youngest's spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was great, and the meatballs were genuinely delicious. Everything else missed the mark: * The fish crudo was so heavily seasoned and oily that you couldn't taste the fish. * The margherita pizza was undercooked. * The fish sandwich was drowning in sauce, and the brioche bun was soggy and greasy. * Even the Diet Coke tasted watered‑down and off. Service didn't help. We waited far too long despite the dining room being mostly empty. We were told they were "really busy," but there were plenty of open tables. For $165, the value just wasn't there. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a genuinely poor experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't return. Oh wait the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well equipped that was a great experience and the restaurant looks great and has very comfortable tables and seats

Best service and yummy food. We sat at the bar for dinner and had the best time. We ordered the rice balls, fish & chips and bread and butter and a couple drinks and 10/10. Leo the bartender made us some yummy drinks. Def recommend!!!

First time here and the staff was exceptional. The previous reviews on the Uni and Eggs looked marvelous and I was looking forward to exactly what was pictured, it was disappointing. Although it tasted good, it didn't look appealing and frankly, sad with withered greens. I ordered the potatoes and those were perfectly crunchy, garlicky and finished with a zing. I also had the chocolate cake. It was flat and lacked flavor...reminds me of microwaved cake in a cup. It came with a nugget of vanilla ice cream, pine nuts, pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil. That was the only good part.

Why would you not put a sign up on your location? Not smart.. Bar is old school and worth the visit on its own.

Wood fired Ling COD and the Crab Pappardelle Pasta! Outstanding.

Charming little spot on Carpinteria main drag. Thank you Emily for the great service along with your super team! Loved the wood fired COD and my Morro Bay oysters were outstanding. Only suggestion would be a slice of garlic toast to compliment the Crab pasta dish! We had the Fish Picatta 2 nights later!

Took my wife out for Valentine's Day. Not your typical seafood restaurant, but it was definitely a unique experience we both enjoyed. Menu options had an Italian bend to it which I enjoyed. Arrabbiata sauce is very good, and I'm glad that it came with the calamari. Highly recommend that along with the rice balls. Not a lot of seafood entree options, but my wife went with the fish piccata (the night we went it was halibut). I went with the cavatelli ricotta. Both were delicious but especially the fish piccata. No complaints, service was great, and the food was good all around. Definitely a gem and jealous of the locals who are able to stop in more often.

Over all really enjoyed the food quality. The pasta was cheesy, the market piccata fish was buttery and melted in your mouth. The only thing I wish it had was a bit more lemon. For a piccata dish there was not enough on it. The pasta paired delicious with it as they only serve it with asparagus. The pizza was light and crunchy, the sauce was on point my bf also got the fish sandwich and very much enjoyed it. I can't say much about it because I stuffed my face with everything else lol. The server was very friendly and sweet

Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best, especially given the price. And then there was the "croissant." I put that word in quotation marks because what arrived on my plate was less a croissant than a bread roll experiencing an identity crisis. A croissant is supposed to be a minor miracle of pastry engineering: dozens of buttery laminated layers, a crisp golden shell that shatters when you tear into it, and an airy, irregular honeycomb interior. You should finish one surrounded by enough flaky debris to require a small cleanup operation. This thing was pale, squat, dense, doughy, and almost completely devoid of discernible layers. The interior had all the airy honeycomb structure of a hot dog bun. It looked as though someone had taken a dinner roll, bent it into a crescent, pinched the ends, and hoped geometry would do the rest. There was no shattering crust. No honeycomb. No glorious buttery lamination. No shower of flakes. Just a soft crescent-shaped bread product that had apparently once heard a croissant described from another room. I have eaten spectacular croissants. I have eaten mediocre croissants. I have eaten mass-produced grocery-store croissants that, whatever their shortcomings, at least understood the assignment. This one appeared not to have read the syllabus. So: lovely patio. Potent cold brew. A perfectly pleasant place to sit for a while. But if pastry is the reason you're going, just make a U-turn. Photographic evidence attached. France, please accept my apologies.

His didn't arrive until about 10-15 minutes later, and they forgot the bagel entirely. The server dropped the food off and disappeared. His potatoes were completely raw, the food was barely warm, and the corned beef hash had zero crisp to it. He took one bite and spit it out. We sat there waiting forever just to tell someone because no server ever checked back. Eventually another employee dropped off the missing bagel and immediately ran off again. My husband finally had to walk inside himself to tell them the food was cold and undercooked. A few minutes later they brought the same plate back out, clearly just microwaved. The eggs were now rubber, the hash was still awful, and the potatoes were still terrible. He went back inside a second time and told them to forget it and just charge us for the bagel, coffee, and my breakfast. Even getting the check took another 20 minutes. What's most frustrating is that nobody seemed to care. No apology, no urgency, no effort to fix anything properly. My breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs and bacon were fine, but the French toast was cold and looked like plain toast, and they covered the potatoes in cheese without mentioning it. After reading other recent reviews, it's clear this wasn't just a one-off bad day. The common theme seems to be cold food, long waits, inattentive service, and management/staff who simply don't care. This place is overpriced, overrated, and unfortunately living off its past reputation. Maybe just stick with bagels.

My eggs Benedict came out fully cooked in the middle, so I sent it back because it completely changes the dish when the yolk isn't runny. When it came back, the potatoes were missing, and by the time everything was sorted out, it just wasn't worth continuing the meal. The mango smoothie was also disappointing -- it tasted like watered down vanilla not mango, especially for a $10 drink. Overall, the experience felt very overpriced for the quality of food we received.
