We were in the mood for basic Americanized Mexican, so we didn't explore their specialties. We had two ground beef tacos in hard corn shell and gr beef taco salad. Got extras (cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and side of pic) with tacos and really enjoyed them. Fresh cilantro! Taco salad was as one would expect. Up in the area for a little skiing and saw this place came with great reviews so figured we would give it a shot While the waitress and guy out front did great with their service the food was really a disappointment The carnitas were extremely dry. As tough as jerky in pieces. Thankfully the rice was decent so I at least had that. The complimentary chips and salsa were one of the few highlights . Good style chip with just the right crunch I asked to sample the mole sauce and I did like that but after our experience today it's hard to say I'd be back to order a dish with it read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cadillac. They are open a little later than average, the customer service and food are excellent. The staff are always happy to see customers, even if it is near closing time. They are pleased to explain menu options and make recommendations. The food is absolutely wonderful! Good Mexican Food, the place is located in the corner of a strip mall. The reason for trying it out was because of all the reviews. We were only table and service was good. Chips and salsa were brought to table. I ordered tacos the pork tacos and the meat was a little dry but had good flavor. Our server wanted us to try dessert so we said sure. Always great service at this average Mexican restaurant in the corner of a strip mall. Beans taste good but very runny and portion is smaller than comparable plates at other places. Rice is good with a bigger portion than beans (because they aren't runny). Chile relleno is great! Fresh pepper wrapped in an egg and filled with queso. Ground beef tacos - sometimes the meat seems old - cooked hours ago? Decent flavor tacos, lots of grease. Chimichanga not deep fried - chicken has almost no flavor. Salsa and chips are very good and free. Overall a decent choice for Mexican in the area. read more

Checked out the new restaurant in town. Friendly service. Had a take out of tacos de carne asada and lengua. It was cool that they packed them so nicely and included some chips and salsa. The tacos were good, topped with cilantro, onions and limes. Everything homemade and flavorful. I put salsa on the tacos and that really made the meal. Can't wait to bring the family. We were up in Cadillac ice fishing. We found this place on Yelp, it had the best rating for Mexican food in Cadillac. We were not disappointed. This is the best I've ever had and we travel a lot. We will definitely stop back in here when we are in the neighborhood. Service was excellent food was even better. I would give it more stars if I could. On our way home from skiing and decided to try Little Mexico for lunch! We were initially going to pass it by because it is in a strip mall and the atmosphere looked to be more diner/deli like than restaurant but we were so glad we took a chance on it! I had the Chicken Fajitas which were fresh, hot and tasty! My husband had the Burrito El Gallo, which was excellent. Two kids had the chicken and cheese nachos and one had steak tacos. Writing as i eat. Given all the rave reviews i felt compelled to add a counter perspective. Nestled in the corner of strip mall the staff was friendly enough. The food however.... lets just say i didnt realize Gordons Food Service had a Mexican product line. Bland, dry, and not fresh best describes my shredded chicken enchilada and tacos.
