Little Ox is a relatively new coffee shop that is super aesthetic. As soon as I stepped through the doors I just wanted to plan a sunrise photoshoot here. The drinks were also really good - I ordered a hot Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte which was very rich but not overly sweet. I also got to go a Mango Yuja Fizz, which was a refreshing mango yuzu spritzer, although the mango flavor was a lot more noticeable than the yuzu. Service was good and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Overall, definitely will be back for more drinks and maybe with a camera for some pics. read more

Really beautiful and spacious cafe! Looks like a great spot for relaxing or for getting some work done! There's lots of tables and chairs and outlets available in different parts of the cafe. The employees were also all very friendly. I ordered the pandan latte. The latte itself tasted good. I enjoyed the coffee flavor, but it didn't have any detectable pandan flavor in my opinion. Before I headed home, I wanted to try this cafe that I have been seeing everywhere recently. I had to get the cream top vanilla latte since that is what I have been loving on my coffees. We had a small puppy and they offered us a free treat that the dog loved. The workers were so nice and understanding. My sister got the summer in taipei since it was a little late for caffeine for her. The inside was not that noisy regarding the amount of people that were doing work there. The seating area was spacious and seemed nice to get some work done. The drinks came out pretty quick and the straws and napkins were next to the self water bar. The cream top vanilla latte was pretty good, I would say the coffee is not really bitter and the vanilla flavor was not that strong which I kinda wanted. My sister enjoyed the summer in taipei drink. It had bits of lychee and mint. The color was definitely very pretty. I think I really liked the ambiance and the area, so I will definitely return to get some work done earlier in the day to try out their pastries and one of their many other drink choices! read more

this place has been on my bookmarks for awhile now because i lovee a good matcha place and the fact that this place sells just matcha tea is what really enticed me to try!! a lot of places mostly just sell matcha lattes but i'm more of a fan of just the pure matcha tea itself, especially in this heat! we came here on the morning of the 4th of July and there were a few customers inside already but not super busy. we were greeted by the cashier and she said to let her know if we had any questions. they also have a pastry case right next to the cashier and they all looked sooo good lol that's how they get you. i got the genji matcha tea which i personally loved and thought was perfectly sweet. i always have to get light sweet when getting drinks and i liked that this one is already lightly sweetened (which they really mean!) so you can really taste the pure matcha flavor. the genji matcha they use is divine. it has a bit of a toasty/nutty flavor profile compared to what i'm used to but i really enjoyed and it wasn't bitter at all. my boyfriend doesn't normally like matcha but he tried my drink and was like "huh maybe matcha is good and i've just been drinking bad matcha" LMAO. so that's a testament to how good it was. my boyfriend got their specialty drink: the honey lavender oat latte. it was too floral for me personally but that's just because i really don't like floral flavors in my drink, but my boyfriend does so he liked it a lot! so if that's your vibe, i'd definitely recommend this drink. he also got it at regular sweetness and it wasn't too sweet at all so you can definitely taste the honey lavender and coffee flavors. we also got an almond croissant to share because it just looked soo delicious and they even heated it up for us. this thing is pretty huge too so it was the perfect size to share and it was just as delicious as it looked!! the croissant was so flakey and soft yet crispy but the real star of the show was the almond filling!! it was soo good -- it tasted just almondy enough. sometimes i don't like almond croissants because they put too much almond extract in the filling which makes it taste weird but they perfected it! i actually don't know if they make it or if they source it from somewhere else but they sell a good almond croissant! we got these two drinks and a pastry for $18 which honestly is average cafe prices at this point. it was definitely worth it though because everything we got was super good! i also like the minimal cafe aesthetic they have going on with the wooden walls/tables. there's plenty of study spots too (not sure about many outlets) but it's a cute place to hang out! their logo is also really cute too, they definitely have their drinks and aesthetic down! i would definitely come back and recommend this place for both their coffee and matcha to others. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since I saw a new cafe open up and I'm always looking for cafes to study in. For studying, the WiFi was fast and stable and they have a sign next to the register that has the WiFi password, which is always nice to see. Since it's a less cluttered cafe, it has a long table with multiple outlets and some smaller tables which are more suited for people to sit and chat. Now then, I am a big fan of matcha so I'll always try a matcha drink when I go to a new cafe so I decided on the genji matcha latte. It had a strong roasted flavor to it that reminded me of genmaicha tea but it didn't taste like a typical matcha. I'm not sure if I would get it again because it was a pretty small size for 6.50 and they didn't have the option to size up unfortunately. The kouign amann was nice and flaky. Like the employee said, it was rich and buttery and I completely agree. If anything I hope in the future that they'll give an option to warm their pastries. read more

Ok, this place was packed on a Sunday afternoon! It seems like a nice place to do work, but there was a coffee line too! I guess people really want their caffeine fix at 3 PM on a Sunday???!? I didn't see any open tables -- looks like they have a few smaller tables, and in the middle of the store is a larger communal table. They have some great combinations, including a hojicha latte and a pandan latte. I ordered the hojicha latte -- they recommended that I get that hot. I'm so happy this place is actually good! So many coffee shops pop up around fullerton & a lot of them are mediocre. This one has yet to serve anything that isn't good. I've tried several of the lattes and none have disappointed. The pastries are also delicious. The service is always top notch. Everyone working there is so friendly & helpful. I've never gotten any bad vibes from this place. The space is cute and simple, plenty of room to study if that's something you look for in a coffee shop. Highly recommend to everyone. If you are a big matcha lover like me, know that the matcha here is quality and never full of too much milk like other places serve. Sometimes seating can get limited, but people come and go so I am sure you will find seating. It can be a bit loud inside at times, so if you are studying or doing work, I would recommend bringing your headphones to help. the sea salt vanilla (iced only) is still on the sweeter end even though the cashier assured me all their drinks are generally less sweet and more coffee forward. but overall, still tasty 4/5 HOWEVER, the pistachio croissant is literally trash. The way i can describe it, It's pretty but it tastes like a costco croissant that they dipped in pistachio but they left it out too long to dry b/c the croissant is rock hard. Cute little cafe/study place if you are around the area! I first saw this cafe on Tik Tok and wanted to give it a try as I am always looking for new cafes to study at, to try new coffee/matcha with friends, or a place to just lounge. I can definitely say that this was a great place just for that. The ambiance was lively and welcoming. It almost mimics a Korean coffee shop aesthetic right in the foot of Fullerton. Anywhere with the incorporation of marbling and wood, I am a sucker for. There is an area in the store where it is section off for people who want to study and focus - something that I have not seen other people around the area do. Therefore, I like how they brought a new meaning to study cafe. One downside that I want to bring up is that since it is pretty popular on Tik Tok at the moment, it can get busy fast. So, I would recommend waiting for the hype to die down a little before calling this place your go-to study spot. Onto the drinks and service! The service here is great - the staffs are informative, sweet, and patient. The cashier who took my order was a nice lady, smiling the whole time. However, I would say the drinks are mediocre. I ended up getting their Matcha Latte, sweeten. Yet, the matcha flavors didn't shine out to me. I wish that there was more than just the overpowering taste of the milk. I ordered the Salted Cream Vanilla Latte recommended by the employees here. It was a very tasty latte, I'm not much of a sea salt person, but this latte was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad it was recommended to me. I also got their cinnamon morning bun I believe it was called? It was basically like a twisted croissant with cinnamon all over it. It was good but too sweet for my taste. I usually don't mind cinnamon treats, but this seemed too sweet for the morning. I have been so exited to try this place and we decided to go on a whim. This is such a cute coffee shop! I loved the decor. It was our first time here and it was busy as the line was out the door. It was too loud in there so I'm glad we didn't come with the intention of doing work. I got the salted cream vanilla latte which was really good and came out pretty fast. I asked for less sweet and it was perfect. My husband got an espresso with sparkling water and it came in this cute mug, but unfortunately the espresso was too acidic. Tried Little Ox for the first time today and WOW I am blown away! I can't get over how gorgeous their interior is - so airy with nods to nature with their live plants and wood/marble accents. Gorgeous. But most importantly, their coffee is AMAZING. Parking: plenty of space in the lot right in front of the cafe. Service: I so appreciated the amazing service here! The baristas are very knowledgeable and friendly. It was so nice to be greeted with smiles and super helpful service. You can tell they put a lot of detail and care into making your coffee as well. Coffee: I ordered their pandan latte (hot) and my husband ordered a pour over. Both perfection! I love that the pandan flavor is used the highlight the flavors of the coffee rather than overpower them. I was told if you want more of a pandan flavor, you can order it extra sweet. We grabbed a chocolate chip cookie as well (so good)! Little Ox is the perfect place to meet with friends, study/work, or grab a quick pick-me-up. Saw this place on tiktok and decided to give it a try as me and my partner were in the area, the line wasn't bad when we walked in but people immediately came in after and the line was out the door! We ordered 2 Genji lattes, one with a cream top, and a okumidori latte, we personally loved the genji the most as it was nutty and tasted similar to rocky's matcha! The oku wasn't very flavorful to me but maybe it's because they didn't hear that I wanted oat milk but that's fine. It was strong but didn't have its own distinct flavor despite being the most expensive one. Overall i'd recommend the Genji with oat milk if your a matcha lover and enjoy a complex matcha, if you like something not as strong, the genji with a cream top is really good as well! read more

Great coffee, environment, and service. Just know that they are very popular right now so there will likely be a wait when you come in. There's no online ordering option yet but I would love for there to be! What I've tried so far: Pandan coffee: 3/5- I thought it would be sweeter or green but it's not. So you get barely a pandan taste. I've had other pandan coffees before like at airoma that I personally liked better. Salted cream vanilla: 5/5 - I liked this one much more and would get it again. A very nice foam cream in this coffee. Banana milk: 5/5 a total hit with my kiddo. He drank almost the entire kiddie cup both times. I would like to come back for a work day and just sit in the coffee shop for the vibes a weekday. Anyways quality coffee but some logistical things could be improved. I'll be back! read more

The staff was very friendly, and as a matcha drinker I am quite picky but they took the time to answer my questions and recommend me a drink despite it being busy. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and it was more savory and robust than sweet but still good quality matcha. The pandan latte was very smoky, the salted cream vanilla latte was yummy but tasted mostly like salted cream and the coconut spice latte (which was my least favorite) just tasted like brown sugar and milk. Love this local coffee shop. Every time I go in I try something new and I have yet to be disappointed. Baristas are so friendly and never rush you or appear bothered by requests. Very clean and cute spot. Perfect for hanging out on your laptop too. Parking lot is small though and I often find it difficult to find parking during busy days/hours. The line is often out the door but the employees are pretty quick with making drink orders. There are normal chairs and high chairs available. I haven't tried the food yet but it also looks yummy. Went today for their grand opening! Ordered their salted cream latte and it was sooo tasty. The parking is sooo spacious and what they did with the inside space is quite impressive. My girlfriend and I absolutely LOVED this place. It has a good amount of parking, with even an electrical charging station right outside (you need to pay to charge). I got the iced vanilla latte and loved it. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and the caffeine did the job. My girlfriend got the single origin matcha and she said it was some of the best matcha that she ever had. At $7.25 + extra for the milk substitute, it is a bit pricey, but the quality was off the charts. The inside of the shop has lots of seats and has a very mellow vibe. I've given this spot a few chances, but the coffee has always been underwhelming. I stopped by tonight around 6 PM to pick up some beans and had a pretty disappointing experience. Two employees were working and neither greeted me. One completely ignored me, and the other gave me a dirty look. I was trying to ask if they had the beans I was looking for in stock and one of the girls came to the counter and was just staring at me and didn't even say anything till I asked her the question? lol. I get that it was an hour before closing, but the attitude was unnecessary and I wasn't even ordering coffee, if that's what they were annoyed about. But even if I was, customer service is the most important part of a business. Her response was vague and unhelpful, and I just felt uncomfortable from the interaction. One of my new fav matcha spots in OC! There were two matcha options: regular matcha latte and genji matcha. The genji matcha was more earthy and less sweet. I personally liked the genji matcha more and I added a salted cream top which I thought complimented the flavors in the matcha a lot. Came here with my sister for the first time, she's been wanting to visit so we drove over from la at night. It was filled with people but no line.
