Lil Sweet is one of my go-to boba cafes in the city. They have several locations, and this is one of their smaller ones that has seating. I got my usual lemon with boba and it came out pretty fast. They now have a kiosk that's AI-powered... and frankly I didn't like it asking what I wanted lol. I'm fine choosing options on my own. Plus, it wouldn't allow me to enter my rewards number, so that's a con for me. Only one of their regular kiosks was working so I had to wait for that one. The small boba was great and soft, with a slight chew. The drink itself was a bit too sweet at 100%, and didn't have that strong of a hojicha flavor. While the drink I got here was pretty good, I couldn't say the same about my overall experience. It was actually hard to find Little Sweet despite using my phone map, because it is actually inside Axiom Hotel. I'm surprised there isn't a sign outdoors or anything. I walked in with a group of coworkers to get boba, and there was one man alone behind the bar/cafe once entering the hotel. We asked him where to find Little Sweet and he let us know we were there and showed us the kiosk to order. I put my order in the kiosk then looked for the restroom. When I asked him for the key he said that the restroom was only for hotel guests so he could not give it to me. I went further into the hotel and asked a woman working in the hotel where to find a restroom and she let me know it was downstairs and that I'd need to ask the man at the bar/cafe for the key, so I went back. What a dangerous location being on the way from my office to the Montgomery BART station... always tempting to place an order as I'm leaving the office and walking over on my way to BART to pick up my order. 4 drinks and $30 later too many times really add up over time! Anyways, I've only placed online orders here and the process is pretty straight forward. Downside is the navigation where I'd add a drink and then it'd take me back to the very top so I'd scroll a lot more than I'd like. Otherwise, easy stuff. They do regular boba cups as well as those sealed can ones. They are a bit more sturdy, especially taking them on the train home, and they are rather fun. Peel the tab off or just stab through it. The kids love it. Little Sweet's fruit items (mango sago) and such are refreshing and great. I love getting their Thai tea and green Thai teas, and appreciate both their regular boba pearls and the mini ones. By default, the drinks are really little sweet, so that's a plus! The fam enjoys the taste of the drinks from Little Sweet for the most part. My son has mentioned sometimes they are a bit watered down, so there some inconsistencies, but overall OK. I appreciate how this location of Little Sweet take Blackbird Pay, which is a payment and loyalty app. It's near my work so came here with my work friend. They have green program where I can bring my own mug. However I didn't realize afterwards that my own mug is 12 oz but their hot milk tea is 16 oz so I should have brought a bigger mug. Iced cold drinks is 24 oz listed on their website. Also there is no discount for bringing my own mug even though I love being environmentally friendly. Please add discount for customers who bring their own mug like $0.25 discount at Starbucks since you charge extra $0.50 for split cups. I see the option to check bring my own mug at their website when ordering online, but no discount. read more

We love your mango sago and especially the soft mini sago balls. Yesterday, I ordered two to-go mango sagos (order number K36, order date 1/21/26), and unfortunately for the first time, the mini sago balls were very hard. I'm not sure if they were prepared incorrectly or if they were old and not suitable to serve. It was disappointing that I had already driven away and couldn't return to exchange the orders. Because the mini sago balls were hard and tasted awful, we had to throw away both drinks. I saw that this is a newer Little Sweet location, so decided to check it out. I ordered on a screen kiosk and there were a few people ahead of me so took about 5 mins to be ready. I got the rose high mountain milk tea, 25 sugar, less ice, non dairy milk, which is only $5.40 before tip and is actually not bad by bay area standards for the 24oz cup size. They sealed the lid well which was great for transporting it home without spilling. I had selected the paper cup option which is free; otherwise by default it would have been in plastic. The tea is nice and floral, I can still make out the rose flavor and bitter richness of the tea over the milk which is what I hoped for with selecting reduced sweetness. I was happy with the strength of tea and ratio of milk, so I'd be interested in coming back to a Little Sweet to try more drinks. read more

I want to give a stellar review for the two young men in this shop who were communicative and friendly. They were thankful for my patronage. They also were patient. It took me multiple minutes to browse through the menu. Dozens of items. It was my first time in here. Very small hole in the wall. There are so many items to try. It's exciting. Lots of offering that I've never had before. Like the one that I ordered, Lemon White Gourd Tea. It's made from the flesh of the winter melon. Not my favorite, wasn't that into it. No big deal. The variety here is amazing. There are so many different drinks you can get for all types of moods and flavor profiles. I've gotten probably 7-8 different things here. Green Thai Iced Tea with Cheese foam, Avocado shake, White Gourd Milk Tea (Wintermelon), Strawberry Mango Sago (I was able to switch the sago with boba in store, unfortunately this option is NOT available online, I wish they would update the online customization options a bit to include this) and many more. There have not been any misses with my drink choices, they have all been good. I'm not sure if that is because Little Sweet makes great drinks, or if I am just really really good at picking delicious drinks! lol. The two complaint was the brown sugar boba milk drink came with small boba's not the regular large one and when I paid to add boba, it wasn't a lot. At lease the boba was good. Overall decent place but I will have to come back to try their other drinks for a final input. It's a pretty competitive boba business as there are also 4 other boba places in a couple of blocks away from each other. For now I like this place and recommend the thai green tea with crystal boba. I seldom give boba shops 5 stars, but this place deserves all 5. I ordered their wintermelon milk tea, which is a rare drink to find. It was sweet, creamy and dreamy. It's dairy-free too. For such a high- quality drink, I expected it to cost 6 to 7 dollars. You can't beat the taste, quality or price. Little Sweet is near the top of my list of favorite boba shops.
