    Classy Chick Banh Mi
    Thomas R.

Menu isn't very large but what they do they do well. Several different protein options and you can get them in sandwich, rice bowl or noodle bowl form, or as pho soup . My personal go to is the classy chick bahn mi. Fresh and flavorful on the perfect demi baguette. Yum. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior isn't large but has three or four tables and a small seating area for waiting on pickups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Have gone a few times now and definitely worth checking out.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot tucked away in a shopping plaza![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Before going, I had no idea they also owned Bahn Mi & Ti, so that was an exciting surprise. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We dined in, but it's pretty small in there so takeout is probably the move unless it's slower.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got a bahn mi and also a vermicelli bowl. Both came out super quick and were delicious! I saw lots of people come in to grab some boba, which I'll probably do next time. Highly recommend for awesome Vietnamese in the North Hills!

Quick, easy, delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don't have a large inside seating area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but the food is amazing and always quick service.

Veggies vermicelli bowl w/ egg and extra veggies. Tofu banh mi. Cucumber salad.

Great find. The menu is almost entirely focused on banh mi, rice bowls, rice vermicelli bowls, and pho but the ingredients are fresh and the execution is excellent. The banh mi was flavorful and well presented, with a particularly crusty baguette. It could have used a few more pickled vegetables, but was otherwise great. The "summer rolls" (fresh rolls) were a somewhat distinct format, with open ends on either side. Either way, both the spring rolls and corresponding dipping sauce were delicious. We specifically requested a vermicelli bowl with egg and extra veggies, and it was perfectly balanced: lots of fresh vegetables with just enough vermicelli in the bottom. Also: try the cucumber salad. It's a nice refreshing addition to other potentially heavy items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The actual restaurant is a tiny space in a larger strip mall, but it was very nicely decorated and clean with very friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It seemed like exactly the type of operation I like to support. They really seem to care about solid execution and service.

I stopped by here a couple of Fridays ago with my wife and twins for dinner. We had found out about Little Viet Kitchen via Yelp and I was happy to see that we had a Vietnamese restaurant in the North Hills. This restaurant is located in the plaza with Target and Giant Eagle right where 19 and McKnight Road meet. It's takeout only and my wife and I placed an order online for a specific time. When we arrived a little after that time my wife ran in and got it and so I can't comment on how it looks. For dinner on this day I decided to get a classy chick vermicelli bowl while my wife went with the drunken beef vermicelli bowl and we ordered our twins the chicken Pho. My bowl here was pretty good and I enjoyed the flavor of the chicken. The carrots and other vegetables helped provide a fresh flavor to it and the sauce I poured over the top helped to add a bit of saltiness which I appreciated. My wife's bowl was similarly good and I thought that her drunken beef was super flavorful. Last but certainly not least was the pho which my daughter loved. She ate a ridiculous amount of the broth, which tasted nicely of chicken and lemongrass, for a 2 year old. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our bowls here and I only wish that the portion sizes were a little bigger.

Have been back many times. We have had: Beef pho 5/5 good broth and protein. Banh mi xa Xieu which has a good protein to vegetable to bread ratio. 5/5. Could use more aioli on the bread. But staff are very generous with the meat. My sandwich was nicely stuffed. Crisp carrot pieces tender juicy pork and a good crispy baguette. Shrimp roll 4.8/5 lots of vegetables Cafe phin - husband likes it. I love this place but that's an outrageous price for a tiny cup of coffee. Bobo tea 5/5 kid loves it. Always friendly and welcoming staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurants with a few cosy little tables[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. 5/5 Highly recommend

Super cute, yummy food and great friendly service ! It's hard to find a good Bahn Mi in the suburbs so when I heard of this place I had to stop and try it!

Yum! I love Vietnamese food so I was excited to hear there was a new place to check out, I tried the banh mi and cucumber salad. I love that there are a variety of options for the banh mi meat. I tried the pork n roll which is marinated pork and five spices. It has a lot of flavor. The sandwich was packed with ingredients and the bread had the perfect crunch. The cucumbers were delicious. Still a little crisp with s pretty heavy sesame flavor. The one down side is that there is no dine in. Overall, a tasty, clean and affordable place I'll definitely be visiting again.

    Homemade Kimchi delicious.

Went in excited to try the new place in Wexford right next to the Giant Eagle. In a simple word. GO! We anticipate that we will be ordering regularly. Heads up take out only. Go in and say hi to Ben!

Bahn mi are really good. My beef noodle dish was ok, not fantastic. It's takeout only or uber eats. Stick with the bahn mi.

To go only. Meaning, soup/pho will only be lukewarm by the time you're ready to consume it at home. Banhmi sandwich was great.

Our food arrived incredibly quickly, within about five minutes, and everything was delicious. We ordered the spicy California roll, cold sesame noodle salad, crab rangoon, and tofu yaki udon. This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

While I felt like the original location was slightly better with the overall flavors, this place was pretty darn good. Service was friendly and decent too. The menu is PACKED with many authentic items, so much to choose from, but be sure to use the Chinese menu, not the American menu. The meats in our food choices were tender and fresh... same with the veggies. The flavors were very nice and spice level was low when I asked for "regular" level of spicy, so if I came back, I'd ask for a little more heat. We enjoyed most everything was got - The Dan Dan Noodles were basic, tho flavored nicely, they were like an "Asian spaghetti" so they weren't as good as they should have been. The cucumbers were boring, they definitely needed to have smashed garlic sauce and hot peppers added to the flavor from the kitchen, not just me adding heat at the table. The cumin beef was so tender and tasty! But needed more spice. The scallion pancakes were the best I've had yet! Their garlic sauce that came with the scallion pancakes was so incredibly tasty and those pancakes were flakey and done so nicely! For wok'd greenbeans, the only option was to get their stringbeans and pork and ask for no meat, but add spice - this worked PERFECTLY and they wok'd them right! Overall, it was a very nice visit and despite my opinion on the lack of depth of flavor and heat, this place would definitely satisfy most - So Go, give them a try!!

Just be warned that their cucumber salad is just cucumbers (there's no rice vinegar, sesame oil, or soy sauce), this was a let down. But the scallion pancakes and string beans were very good. The service though was a little frustrating. It took a while for a waiter to come to our table. We also had a couple of different waiters because we weren't understood and had to do a lot of pointing at the menu. Aside from that, I'm really happy that this restaurant is on McKnight!
