Food, service and ambiance lost. Used to be our favorite place. Needs to be sold to owners with a different vision.

It's permanently closed now so it doesn't matter. The service and food were terrible just before it closed

Honestly so disappointed by this restaurant's poor food. If you go would suggest the sea scallop appetizer and the salmon entree.

I avoid brunch on the weekends because it's just too busy and chaotic but weekdays are pretty nice. It's good, but not waiting for half hour good. I also come in pretty often for bread and pastries though you have to get in early or things will sell out. Service is always fine. I miss when they were open for dinner/happy hour because I liked their food back then.

Mainly due to one INCREDIBLY rude employee, who i am going to assume is the manager, or something close, considering she was the only one in plain clothes, and not in a uniform or server outfit. This woman was an absolute walking nightmare. First off, we came in around 1pm. Mind you, this location closes at 3pm. So immediately, after we walked in, we stood there for a good minute or so before one of the FIVE employees, including nightmare manager lady, who were standing on, in or around the front counter ask "table for two?".. as the manager slowly grabbed our menus to hand to the server, i immediately noticed she had an attitude. Almost like she was annoyed we were coming to eat.. I shook it off, we sat down. We had our small dog in a stroller, so we had asked to eat outside. The outside area was busy. It is a sunny 70+ degree day so we asked for as much shade as we could get. The server pointed us towards a table with one half completely in the sun. We pointed to the 3-4 tables behind us that were in full shade. The server said they just closed that section. Umm ok, but, not the severs fault that the available tables were in the sun.. so, ok, no problem. We sat down. It took our server a while to get to us, but she was hustling and doing very her best. When she got to us she was gracious and very friendly. She was also very accommodating when we ask for our meal to be split to share. I wish i had gotten her name because she was the only nice part of our experience today and she was a lovely young lady. So, as we waited for our food, my mother was getting uncomfortable in the direct sun. I offered to switch seats, but she just tried to move her chair more to the side, towards the inner isle. Nightmare manager whips out of the door and VERY rudely, and loudly, barks at my 74yr old mother "mam, that's just not going to work! It's too narrow in here!" Everyone looked at us as she yelled this at my mother. At this point, most of the tables outside were emptying. So i said "could we maybe switch tables? She's just very uncomfortable in the sun." this nightmare of a human throws her hand up at us, like IN OUR FACES, and in a very annoyed voice says "you gotta give me a minute " and darts past us. We were floored. My mom and I look at each other like "huh?!?" There is now very few people left in the entire restaurant, inside or out. So it was pretty clear it was less about being busy and more that she was simply in "i want to close up and go home" mode. But hey, food service can be stressful, i get that. What i don't get is yelling at customers like they're your five year old. At this point the servers are wiping down the tables and stacking chairs. Mind you, it's only been roughly 20 min. So it's about 1:30pm.. again, they close at 3pm. But they were all clearly in shut down mode.. So when nightmare manager lady doesn't come back, we asked another server if we could move. She looks around at the empty tables, that are now 100% in the shade, and is like "ummmmmmmm, sure?" I said "great!" Got up and move to the shadiest table. Then nightmare manager whips outside again, and, as we are picking up our our silverware and water cups, this woman shoves next to my mom, who fumbling with her water glass, purse and silverware, and begins wiping the table down before we even retrieved our things. She says nothing to us. Her body language was aggressive and she was obviously very annoyed. Annnnnd that's when I called it. We hadn't even received our food. We got up and left, while I chipped "you can tell them to just throw our food away. You've been incredibly rude and we're done" and we left. This woman ruined a lovely Sunday afternoon i was spending with my mother. She was annoyed and rude the second we interacted with her. She may be stressed out, but to treat customers with such obvious distain, is unacceptable. This woman clearly can't handle the pressure.. so i HIGHLY recommend they get her out of the kitchen, LITERALLY! To this nightmare woman, i am so sorry we annoyed you with our business today. Don't worry, we will not be back..

Bakery of fresh baked goods right at the front Piper was our server according to the receipt. She did the basic take our drink order, then brunch order. Runner brought our food and she checked on us about 15 minutes after we've been eating, asked if we wanted a refill on one of the drinks. Then came at the end and asked if we were ready for a check. Didn't upsell anything. She didnt do bad, just did her job and nothing extra, but I still tipped 20%. I came for the tiramisu french toast. $1 add on for caramelized bananas. It DID NOT disappoint. This was good. Not too sweet. Its one huge slab of a loaf. Good portion that I couldnt finish because I was too busy snacking from my daughter plate. Corned beef hash plate.. reel corned beef, cooked perfectly with just enough crispy ends and tasty goodness. Perfectly fried potato hash browns. Sour creme and sunny side up eggs with onions and bell peppers. Soo good! The chef omelette was a good size too. 3 eggs. Avocado wedge on top. My husband stry8ng to eat healthier, so this was great. Good amount of cheese as well. He mopped it up real quick Tatin apple crepes. The young teen had these and shes picky. She said it was okay. I tried it and it was great. Not too sweet. If you like apple anything, this is definitely a need to try. Mimosa flight... 4 drinks. You can choose from a variety of choices. I tried the following: mango, strawberry, guava, and passion fruit. They were more champagne than the fruit infusion. So of the 4, the strawberry had the most flavor but could use more flavor to it. The other 3 needed more fruit flavor according to my taste buds, maybe there was just more champagne instead, so im good with that too, haha. Overall a good experience and will come back again to try some other items and maybe go home with something from the bakery too (the croissant as a side came to the table and it was huge, flakes and moist! Oh! The orange juice was really good. Tasted like it was fresh squeezed!

I will say I found the service a bit off and on, as greeting and getting started was fantastic, but the follow up for after the food comes, was sad to say, nowhere to be seen. Can I get some sauce for these hash browns, nope. It was a weekday, and it was pretty empty, so one would assume the folks working wouldn't be spread so thin. I hope this was just a drop in the otherwise great dinning they are known for. I do also love that they kept the old raccoon lodge fireplace, so cute.

We chose Lumière (Wilsonville, Oregon) because 1. It's a convenient drive from our friends' residence, and 2. It is of French cuisine. Lumiére is a small, off the beaten path, in a very high-end residential area. The trappings are tasteful, welcome and clean (except for the stool in the men's lavatory). The venue has several dining tables, as well as attractive & comfortable patio seating. We chose inside. Our server/service could not have been better, in any way. Addie took care of us with smiles and warmth, in spite of her tender age (she's pursuing an Environmental Engineering undergraduate degree). From beginning to end, we were given service as though the server had been there for 20 years. The menu is somewhat limited, which I would have expected, but the selections and quality are pleasing. Likewise, the precious and tiny bar will meet your needs. Each in our party chose a different entry. I chose steelhead salmon with perfectly prepared au gratin potatoes and equally-delightful asparagus. If anyone cannot find a meal of delight, it's because they likely are "meat & potatoes" or "burger & beer" diners. The dessert menu is limited to 3 choices; the 4 of us shared two of them. The quality was high, and the portions were plenty. Lumiére is not a bargain restaurant, by any means. Our 4 meals + gratuity was $177, and I did not consider that excessive for our total experience. I stand strong in recommending this quaint family venue, and our party has already agreed it is high on our dining list!
