They brought the wrong sizes and did nothing to fix the order. Headache. Go somewhere else

We ordered a bedroom set. It was all set up for delivery and ready to go. I called off work to be home for the delivery at 130pm. They call me at 2pm saying the route was "dropped" and that I'd have to wait almost another week for another scheduled delivery date. They basically told me that there's no other option and that it's the only way. Wouldn't have been as bad if they would have given me notice ahead of time instead of telling me after the delivery window had already passed. They do not stand behind their warranty. I purchased a warranty that the sales lady encouraged me to purchase for a rug. She said it covers everything like pet stains, any accidents...etc. there was an accident which was cleaned up right away and as it dried...it matted (Shag). The guy came out after waiting several weeks and said no they were not covering. I spoke to them several times which is an all day job...no one answers. The lady on the phone said she would get back to me.... never did. I went to the store and the customer service rep said they would not cover because of a stain that was cleaned with pet stain cleaner. They are bull...t. They cover nothing and I am going to the BBB here in AZ. I asked for the cost of the warranty to be refunded at least and....nothing. BTW... we have purchased quite a few furniture and decor items....never asked to purchase a warranty....I will never do business with them again. read more

We bought thousands of dollars of furniture from this store. I'm less than 3 years it fell apart and had so many issues. Main issue the mattresses TERRIBLE QUALITY. My sons mattress literally has a crater in the middle. When we tried to file a claim on the warranty we waited weeks to have someone come out to then be told it was for sure broken and in need of replacement but not covered because the small stain on there from juice. When I tried to reach the store to discuss I was told by cooperate they would call me and never did. The sales staff in the store were very nice. That was my only positive experience. Arranging the delivery of my bedroom set and sofa was a colossal nightmare. Items being delayed at the last minute, pushing the delivery, being promised a waived delivery fee for the items that were delayed and then having to fight with supervisor escalation to make them follow through on their promises. It's been a month and a half and I still have not gotten my delivery. Complete waste of time and energy dealing with this company. I'll never do business with them again. Bought my rug here. Very happy with it. Only reason I subtracted 1 star is salesperson told me that free shipping was "Amazon style" where they would drop at my door. I agreed, knowing I wouldn't be home at the given time. I get a call during my delivery window and I am told I need to sign for the package. They took it back to the distribution center since I was unable to sign. I went into the store that evening and was pretty frustrated, but they found a way to make me happy as they let me take one they had on hand. Glad it fit in my car and I didn't have to re schedule a delivery. Overall a bad experience avoided, and I do love the rug. read more

Misleading sales pitches!!!! Already reached out to corporate over this. Purchased a mattress and while testing out to see which would be the one, the employee with pink hair helped guide us through which was pleasant up until we were told about a $250 gift card to the store for a later purchase. This gift card is available upon purchase of certain mattresses. My boyfriend, myself, and the employee conversed on how the gift card is a great touch considering we planned to buy more furniture from the store and how we would like to go ahead and purchase the mattress we enjoyed so we could get the gift card and use it toward our couch a few days later. This employee was WELL aware we were under the impression we would be receiving this gift card. We sign the line stating no returns and finish up with the payment. I asked the employee how we receive the gift card whether it's via email, with the mattress delivery or on the spot. To our dismay, this employee then informed us that "that mattress does not come with the gift card." after previously convincing us that it did throughout our entire shopping experience. Mind you, the only reason we went through with the purchase of this mattress was due to the convenience and now what seems to be a misunderstanding of how this came with a $250 gift card and can't even return it now. Misleading and distasteful. Don't recommend shopping here unless you know exactly what you're getting into. Just a shame read more

We went to buy a new bedroom, and living room furniture set for our new apartment at the Living Spaces in Gilbert, Arizona located at San Tan Village. We would be moving, and wanted our furniture delivered to our new place in San Diego, California. Our sales associate was very helpful, and friendly and was able to help us get everything ordered, and let us know dates of when things would be delivered, except our mattresses. She said we would have to go to the "Sleep Center" for this, as this was a separate area for the mattress purchase. So, we went there and had another associate help us with this purchase after taking a "pillow test," to ensure which type of mattress we wanted. After all that, and spending over $3000 on a mattress, we picked our mattress. And we explained to this guy that I already had an adjustable bed frame I had bought from them. He said it wasn't a problem, and that the size I had would fit our bed nicely. I had a Cal King, and we decided to go to a European King. When our furniture was delivered, and installed, the delivery men let us know that our bed frame wasn't big enough and they didn't want to "install" the bed "all the way" because they didn't want to break our bed possiblely. They asked that we call Living Spaces for new side rails for our bed since Living Spaces should help with that. Since we had to go back to Arizona for something, we actually went back to the store and explained the situation to them, and they apologized and said "no problem, lets get those side rails ordered for you, and this should allow the smaller bed frame to be okay with your bigger mattress!" So we figured our issue would be handled. That was April 9th! Today is June 13th, and we still dont have thosenside rails and we were just informed that Living Spaces will not be providing us those side rails, because although they do take "half of the blame" of this issue, it is also our fault for believing the sales associatethat told us my bed frame would be fine, and they will no longer be helping us with this issue, and for us to deal with our now messed up bed! We spent more than $4000 for this bed altogether, and this is the help (we don't get!) Not to mention the other thousands of dollars we spent on our living room, and outside furniture as well. I am sick to my stomach that they would respond this way, even after having requested to speak to management, and this was the resolution we received. We will never shop at Living Spaces again, and will tell everyone we know about their horrible service. read more

BEWARE OF BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY .... Be very careful when purchasing furniture at Living Spaces. They're going to want to sell you items and entice you with an extra fee (close to $500 for me) so that at the end of 5 years if you've not requested a repair or replacement, you'll get your $500 back. Well, that's not TRUE! Tried to do it and was told that I'd need to spend double the amount (nearly $1000) before the credit could be applied. So they basically stole and kept my $500 and now are extorting me for another $500 in order to get it back. They will not talk about it or try to work with me. BEWARE, people! read more

Everything I have purchased has been nothing but issues - custom ordered sectional replaced 3 times and finally only given store credit to reselect more crappy quality items (they refuse to ever refund) - I reselected an adjustable bed and mattress, well guess what - base has now broken twice and by the time I get it replaced just this time it will be 6 months of broken bed! This is the worst experience I have ever had and oh did I mention that I think I am at a minimum of 5 service appointments of time off work waiting for a "care free" warranty person to show up. My delivery never came, and once I tracked down an associate from living Spaces, they said my furniture was no longer available after taking my money. Bought this couch for 2k we've had it about 3 months and just noticed this tear at the seam. I called this location where we bought it from and the lady Alyssa was not willing to help or anything. When I asked to speak to a manager she said there wasn't one there to talk to. Really? No managers at the store! I worked in the Home Furnishings/Furniture world for most of my 25 year career in retail and about 10 years ago, I walked out of a Living Spaces and said - "never again". But you know, I have a client who recently said he found a sectional he liked there, and I said I would go and check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. The showroom looks better and less "American Furniture Warehouse" or the like, the selection and even quality is better - and I was really excited about the accessories, super cute and current styles and a wide selection. I also had a great time with the sales associate that helped me out that day but gosh I can't remember her name. But each time I came to this location, everyone was attentive and helpful. I had to run to another location one day to see the fabric again, and I wandered around for about 20 minutes helping myself while not even one single associate acknowledged me. I was in "Livid Spaces" that day. Guess I am driving out to Gilbert each time now. read more

I purchased a couch from living space 15 months ago with the additional 5 year warranty for $75. The sales rep told me it would protect against everything including stains, rips, chips in the legs etc. So I think great I am a college student and this $600 couch is alot but the warranty will protect me. Not even close. The cushions are completely breaking down and the fabric is bunching it's so bad. It looks like I HAVE had it for 5 years. I weigh 130lbs and the couch cushions are wrecked. So I submit a claim with the coverage that I paid an extra $75 for. JOKES ON ME. I get back a denied claim to fix the couch because the warranty only covers FULLY FOAM cushions and the egan II is 90% foam with a 10% overlay of a different material (apparently one they know is cheap as heck so they don't cover it and lie to you?) Maybe you shouldnt sell your couch with that material if you know its bad. It was my job to make sure the warranty covered everything including the 10% non foam cushions. Are you serious?! Your product is defective. Fix it. So here I have no help with cushions that look completely old and broken down. My tuition bill for school is $5,000 a semester so I appreciate you wasting $600 of my money and doing nothing about it to help when all of this counts. this is all around terrible furniture and customer service read more

DON'T purchase from Living Spaces. Bought a modular sectional couch (Marcus Grey, $2700 + cost of warranty) from here. I really liked this couch but was looking for something leather, due to having pets (honestly). I decided to go with the Marcus Grey after the associate mentioned the "durable high-performance fabric" this particular couch was made with....and even performed the ole "scratch your key on the fabric" trick to display the amazing durability it had! PLUS, if you purchase the warranty (5 year) your purchased is covered...& yes from the possible claw damage from my dog...for 5 years!!! 3 years later.....My dog likes to lay in the same spot every night next. After 3 years, her claws somehow wore through the top layer (sml area) of the super strength/ indestructible/ key scratch resistant super-fabric....but no worries because I purchased the warranty like a responsible adult!! Now she doesn't just mindlessly scratch the fabric, she likes to inch her way fwd to be closer to me! Short story long, upon contacting the warranty company...........big let down coming.......THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THIS KIND OF DAMAGE! Well, kiss my ssa. Having the most horrifying experience with Living Spaces. So, I am telling my story and letting everyone I know not to shop there... We have waited well over 10 weeks for replacement cushions. When your inspector came here way back in March, we were told the cushions would be installed by you. Not so. The delivery company came and dropped them off. NO ONE IS INSTALLING THEM. This is the worst "customer service" I have ever experienced. We started this process in November, 2018. First hoop was that I "waited too long" to send pictures after the ticket was opened. Then I opened a new ticket and the pictures weren't clear enough. Then I took new pictures. Then I took them again. Then you finally got back and scheduled an inspector for several weeks out. The inspector came and told us it would be TEN WEEKS to get new cushions, but he would come back and install them. More than 10 weeks later, cushions delivered with no one to install them. I am about to put this review everywhere! You had numerous chances to make this right. You failed over and over again. read more

2 mos later and my $1800 return credit still not received! Stores don't have PHONES so you have to call worst ever 800# for everything. There are so many choices in furniture stores - leave this one off your list. When my dining room table and chairs arrived they were damaged - slightly - but the corner that was chipped off revealed what poor construction the table was so I didn't want to keep it. I tried calling the store but they don't have phones. I called 800# 4 times and finally got someone to process return. If you don't have it picked up within 7 days you can't return so I think that their not returning my calls or helping me process return should have been my first clue this wasn't going well. The May order was picked up a few days after my call, the credit was "processed" that same week. Now 6 weeks later I still don't have the credit on my card. They first blame my bank saying some take longer than others, then they said their "processing" takes 10 - 14 business days, well it has been 20 business days and still don't have the credit. Don't have my $1800 Don't have a store phone number to call so noone really accountable. Don't have any options but to call the call center and get the run around. Please don't put yourself in this position. I am filing with BBB and Attorney General's Office but who has time for all of this. I looked at reviews and was a little hesitant to try this place because the reviews were so low. Unfortunately there are basically no furniture stores in the surrounding areas that are rated well. I'm glad I took the chance because this place was basically the only place where I could find a 97 inch tv stand! After visiting multiple places I ended up calling living spaces and ordering over the phone. Before I left the store RA Ra( I hope I didn't butcher his name! He was sooo helpful) set up a profile with this in a shopping cart for me so in case I decided I wanted it I could just call and handle it all Over the phone. Everything from exceptionally poor quality of product, to handling concerns, to dealing with undelivered/missing product to poor delivery service - nothing about this company deserves even one star. Originally I had high hopes on my first purchase. I picked out a dining room set that was beautiful in design. It was delivered without issue. However, within a couple of months, the cushions on the chairs began to sink in. The cushion was of very poor quality. The table was wood with a dark finish. The finish began to rub off. They tried to say the sunlight caused it. The table is indoors and not under or by sunlight. With a lot of back and forth, they did provide a credit. I was happy they finally worked with me, but it still does not answer to the poor quality of the furniture. I have had to purchase different/new chairs for the dining table and my husband hand to re-stain. It's still under one year old. We have no small children and we are very easy on our furniture. My kitchen table of 17 years is in better condition that the set they set less than a year ago. We had a credit and needed a new sectional. We decided to give the store a second chance. We ordered a sectional. We were told up front there was a wait of about 2 months. Since we were provided the information up front, we moved forward with the set. The set was a sectional with 9 decorative pillows. We were contacted on time for the delivery. I was pleased with their estimation of time being accurate. However, the delivery was not good in the least and the sectional was missing 6 pillows we purchased. The delivery driver told me it only came with 3 pillows for that set. That's great, but it's not what WE ORDERED! They told me to take it up with the main office. Done. However, their rushed job for a paid full delivery service was TERRIBLE. They didn't properly connect the sectional leaving us to handle, which is not what we paid for. They also left tacks and staples behind on our floor. My daughter stepped on the tack with her shoe, thankfully! She was not injured. I called the main number to discuss the pillows. Now I am awaiting a call in 3-5 days with a ticket created to figure out how to get my pillows. Not okay! While we will finish this up hopefully soon, Living Spaces will never see a purchase from me again... ever. And they can count on me to provide sound advice to people looking for quality furniture and good service... it will not be for Living Spaces. Off to check out others! read more

He's a credit to the store. Also, our salesperson, Zach, was very patient and professional with us when we bought mattresses, electric bed frames, office furniture, loveseat and art. Horrible warranty service. They tout it as being so wonderful but it has been nothing but a run-a-round. I gave up on getting email responses so tried calling. I push the number for warranty, then waited 27 minutes for someone to answer. When they did, they said the would connect me with the WARRANTY Department. I explained that was the button I pushed and he assure me the wait would not be as long one he transferred me. That was 26 minutes ago! On a different line I tried call the store where I bought the merchandise (San Tan) and that number is not working. How does a company like this stay in busines 7/17/20 - the warranty department denied our claim. This is within the first year, AND we also paid for the extended warranty. We recently purchased a chaise/sofa from Living Spaces in Gilbert and paid for both delivery and the extended protection plan. The Sofa is nice and we like it, but the delivery team failed to wash their hands before unpacking our piece and so left dark smudges on one of the cushions. We were directed to a company that does the warranty work for Living Spaces and that's where the real problems begin. A warranty is only as good as the company backing it and Furniture Solutions, the company Living Spaces uses to fulfill their obligations, wants me to take time off work to meet them in a 4 hour window, meaning I need to take time off work. So, to make use of the extended protection or even to have the delivery damage corrected I need to take time off my job, costing me more for the piece. And it was damaged by Living Spaces, where I spent the purchase price for the piece, the delivery fee, and the 15% additional for the protection. How much more will this sofa cost us from this discount furniture store and will it really be costing us less by the time we've paid for their mistakes? Just do not expect customer service from this company. It ends when you sign for the purchase. It is an ongoing issue, so I look forward to updating this review with better news. read more

Wow ... very cool and different furniture, however that's where the positives end. their sales, pickup/delivery, prices, customer service and awful POLICIES - Buyer Beware. - their managers in the store are anti-customer. - their policies are bizarre at best-such as the store doesn't take phone calls. - customer service is completely inflexible and rude, including the supervisors. - another example if you don't pick up your item within 24 hours they send it back to a DC and then charge you $50 to send it back. - You also can't call and assign someone else to pick up a product. They force you to go back to the store, which defeats the purpose. - they do a poor job of communicating when a product is ready to pick up. I ordered a sectional couch in March , I had to wait until June and when delivery truck drivers arrived a piece of the sectional wasn't there they said it didn't match, when I spoke with the store they said I would have to reorder the couch and have another long wait and for that I would get $200 refunded for the inconvenience . Sorry no thanks I'm not waiting again who knows if it will be right, then I have to wait 2 weeks to get a check in the mail for my refund. My wife and I purchased 3 matching pieces of furniture that we really liked the look of from Living Spaces, 2 nightstands and a dresser. 2 of the 3 pieces came with dings and chips. This was our first time purchasing new furniture so we really didn't know what prices were like. After our experience with Living Spaces, we now know how much cheap furniture costs. I knew I wasn't purchasing thousands of dollars worth of furniture but when I buy something new I expect no damage including little dings and chips. We had to exchange the pieces 3 or 4 times until we finally had all pieces without dings and chips. The only positive experience was working with one of the guys in the loading dock area who was really honest about the furniture and told us to just keep exchanging it until we were happy with the pieces. So we did. Instead of taking them home and then having to drive them back, we had them unbox the furniture at the store and we'd inspect it there to save us from hauling it back and forth. I was nervous that they wouldn't take the dresser back if I damaged it on the drive back so I was extra cautious in transporting the piece with no box. I got there and the guy helped me unload it from my SUV and he put the thing on its side on the asphalt then wheeled it in with a dolly without any padding. Obviously they get this stuff real cheap from China so they don't bother repairing or fixing minor cosmetic stuff. If you still decide to buy something from them then take advantage of the 7 day return policy. Make them exchange the pieces until you get something that looks like it should, NEW. read more

They underpromised and over-delivered on the delivery date, which I super appreciated. I got the Lodge Fog 2 piece sectional with oversized chaise and I'm in love! I Purchased a large floor standing mirror a few weeks ago. Within a week a crack appeared at the bottom. About a week later two larger cracks appeared. I called customer service and they told me it wasn't covered because it's an accessory. The mirror was $600 and they refuse to do the right thing and replace it. Then they told me my story changed. I told the story to 4 different reps. my story didn't change, they interpreted differently every time they heard it. What a disappointment it was shopping there. I spent so much money there too, about $5000 and they could care less. If you really want to see honest reviews about Living Spaces go to the Better Business Bureau website and look at their reviews. They have an average review of 1 star. They have 100's of really bad reviews. And it's all related to their customer service. It's shocking to see. After seeing that I realize I'll never get any satisfaction from my faulty mirror because they just don't care. I made a huge mistake shopping there. Read the reviews about the customer service. Surprisingly, It is a really nice shopping experience and the products they have are really nice and so are the people. So why ruin it with very poor customer service? One last thing, right after they jubilantly tell you that they don't intend to do anything about your faulty merchandise, don't get upset or raise your voice.
