Sales people are friendly and their system is quick to take your money. Once they have your money they can care less about the quality or caring about their customers. When you call customer service you might as well get paid by then because they will make you work. I bought a couch and love seat set in December 2015. I did not accept the love seat when it arrived due to defects. I have owned this furniture for 7 months and the fabric and cushions rapidly deteriorated. When I bought the couch I specifically questioned the quality and durability of the furniture and was guaranteed by the sales lady it would last for years. Noted I have to go through a number of hurdles and have yest l yet to get anything resolved. I keep getting the run around and told that the cushions were not covered under warranty, even after only 7 months...do not shop at this place. Living Spaces was the furthest furniture store that my wife and I visited in our string of stops, however, we enjoyed this location the most because they had a massive selection of couches, tables, etc. The service was great and we walked around freely with no issues looking for a new kitchen table and couch. While we ended up not buying anything here, we did REALLY like a lot of their options. The price points here also didn't seem inflated like Ashley's furniture, and the "build your own" catalogs were very helpful for more ideas. I wish I could give negative stars. Sure, the store employees were friendly and knowledgable. But you're only as good as your weakest link. I ordered my furniture on Saturday and spent the extra $100 to have it delivered on Sunday. I live in a gated community and the guards check IDs for all vehicles entering canyon lake. The delivery guys didn't have a valid drivers license. I drove to the gate to rectify the situation and the driver took off. He wouldn't answer his phone for me or the dispatcher for living spaces. Needless to say, I didn't get my furniture that day. I set up another delivery for Tuesday (I had to take time off work for both of these days). Again, no drivers license. They had to send another driver. They finally get to my house, move furniture upstairs (chipping the brand new paint off my walls/banisters) and were given the wrong hardware for the bed. The screws were too long and made giant holes in the headboard and all four posts. Again, I didn't get my furniture that day. Wednesday, my time frame was between 8 and midnight. They came at midnight. Put the bed together - but were missing the pieces that kept the mattress from falling through to the floor. This happened at about 1am. Again, no furniture. Now I am on the phone dealing with these incompetent fools. They are trying to say that this will not be fixed until 9pm. Or tomorrow. In what world is this ok???? Spend the extra money and go somewhere with better furniture and better customer service. Oh, and delivery drivers that are U.S. Citizens with valid IDs. Hell, even ikea would be better than this crap. read more

Update on my previous review: This update is based on quality of product purchased (over time) and the warranty living spaces sells. Prior to the vinyl leather recliner we purchased here two years ago, I've bought several other pieces of furniture here and hadn't had any issues. Until now.... 2 years after purchasing a vinyl leather recliner from here, the material started ripping/peeling in the seam area. There was no way of avoiding that bc we sit in the chair and the material bends/moves at the seams when we sit down. My husband and I are averaged sized people, height and weight and our children do not jump around on our furniture, so this ripping and peeling is something that came from normal usage. So first I would like to say, the quality of the recliner is extremely lacking, and the recliner was not cheap! Nor did it even look like it was shotty quality, until now! When we bought our recliner we also purchased the warranty program that Living Spaces sells, I do not recommend buying it! First, they sent someone to my house to inspect my recliner, he inspected it and even said that the ripping and peeling of the material was in a random place that was unavoidable and the company would be replacing the whole exterior shell of the recliner due to the placing of the damage. Second, when I finally got a call back from the company after the inspection, I was told that this damage was not covered by warranty bc it was not actual leather (excuse me for being environmentally friendly and buying something better and that's also suppose to last longer!) but I was told if I spilt juice, burned a hole in it, stabbed it with a needle.... That would be covered... But something that happened due to poor quality of the product itself... NOT covered! read more

Very disappointed, in April spent over 2500. On a sectional love seat and sofa with being told by the sales rep the down feathers would not work it way to the surface which was my main concern to begin with. Now 6 months later the feathers are coming out. Called customer service to complain and they told me there is nothing they can do even with buying the extra warranty. I never would of bought it if I knew there was a possibility of this happening. My only advise is get it in writing if the sales rep guaranteed something. read more

If you don't look like a big transaction, they won't bother. I walked in without any greeting and any help although I was in there an hour, there was no one to help. Not because there wasn't staff but because I look the part of not being able to afford things. I was dressed in sweats and a messy bun and I look younger than I am. A family of four walked in before me and were greeted at the information counter and then again by a sales rep walking around being super helpful to them. I was side eyed by everyone probably because I look young and poor. I walked around the entire store looking at eveything passing so many sales reps just lounging around talking and they noticed me but never asked if I needed anything. on top of it, a person left before I did while a couple was walking in and the person leaving had a goodbye and the couple coming in had a greeting but when I walked out there was silence. Same greeting as my entrance. Poor quality of customer service and the store is big but it doesn't make up for the staff judging you. read more

So after 3 repair jobs and two yelp reviews and a BBB case then the mention of "small claims court" they finally gave up!! Went in yesterday to "reselect" new sofas! The moral to this story is be a squeaky wheel call everyday to complain!! EVERYDAY as I did!! And the only reason I was able to reselect was because my sofas have been discontinued!! Purchased items on June 3, 2015 for June 4th pick up. The items were not there and they told me to come tomorrow. Offered me a $25. living spaces gift card to shop some more. I asked them to deliver due to their mistake and they said no. Customer service at Corporate would not let me file a complaint. I chose to cancel my order as I needed something sooner than they can provide. Now just a few years ( 9/06/17 )later my couches are falling apart. This is my go to furniture store. I purchased a new home in Murietta and we bought a bedroom set from this location. We had some issues during delivery. I went to go see Allen who is the manager at this location. He made things right and resolved the issue. We will continue to go back to this location because the quality is good, the price is right, and the customer service Allen provides is second to none. If you have any issues with your purchase just go directly to Allen. Living Spaces customer call center is worthless to say the least. I'd give them a -10 rating if I could. However, as stated before, the in store customer service is great. They recently remodeled the store. Lots of great furniture and decor to choose from. Great place to fulfill all of your homes needs! Unfortunately, I chose to ignore the situation, back in 5/2017, I purchased a living room set and dining set, I had to use my warranty which I paid cash for at the time of purchase, I was told this manufacturer of the vivian sofa had a 5 year warranty. I leaned on the sofa when I got up off the floor, it RIPPED! Of couse when I called living spaces today, living spaces stated they have no record and there has never been a 5-year warranty!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING LIVING SPACES? LYING TO SELL?? BE AWARE CONSUMERS, THIS COMPANY HAS THIS REPUTATION! I appreciate that the products are of reasonable quality considering the cost. Unfortunately there are two things from our last experience that knock off a few stars. When we were at the store we were looking at a sectional and needed an ottoman to go with it. We were told by three different salespeople that no ottomans were available for the line. We ended up spending two and a half hours trying to make something work with other lines, tables, etc. that didn't look bad. I then looked at my phone and saw there was an ottoman in the line. When I showed the sales person she said she had never seen it in the store before. It was an honest mistake but I found it ridiculous that not one of the three salespeople we dealt with knew this and I had to look it up myself. Had I not done so we wouldn't have a matching set. We had a delay in delivery by a day because the sales process took so long. Secondly, our order includes a chair that was not in stock at the time of purchase on December 15th. We needed the seating for a New Years' Eve party we hosted on the 31st. When we purchased the item we were told the estimated date of availability was December 30th. I told the employee I was dealing with that the date was cutting it close and was assured that Living Spaces "under promises and over delivers" so it was likely I would be able to pick up the chair sooner. Because we needed it for the 30th and I wasn't sure LS could live up to the promise considering the rush of the holiday season I offered to buy the floor model of the chair if I could get it for $100 instead of $150. The only discount offered for a floor model with damage to the legs was $15. So we went ahead with ordering the chair. I called on the 30th and was told the chair was on its way to the store and would either be ready for pick-up that evening or the next morning. I called the next morning and was told the wait time was now seven to ten business days. I'm not sure how this is the case because the specific item on supposedly en route for delivery to the store on the 30th. It's just frustrating that I can't seem to get a straight answer from the corporate call center as to when the chair will be available. It's further troubling because the sales people who, while very nice and generally helpful, were uninformed about the product lines. I know it is a large store, but to me it is unacceptable not to know what items are available in what lines. I managed a 20,000 square foot office furniture showroom (with 60,000 square feet of warehoused items) that sold used items so we had a much more extensive assortment of different manufacturers, lines, and styles. We were also constantly turning over different loads constantly so the inventory shifted quite a bit. I knew near-exactly what was in our store at all times. It's inexcusable to not know the products in a store with static inventory. read more

I needed to exchange an expensive mattress, I did miss the return date by a few days. Living spaces refused to bend the date just a little. I have been a loyal customer for years and made many purchases over the years could they at least try to help me . No flat no not even a mattresses pad for the hard as rock mattress. Maybe a napkin or something to wipe my tears after loosing over $three thousand dollars on this purchase, really how much $ did they make. Guess next stop the good will to drop off this piece of crap and buy something that I can sleep on. My fault but to keep a good customer is priceless. Our sales associate Wanda made our entire experience a breeze and completely enjoyable. She was sweet and very knowledgeable about the different furniture we were considering. We went there to buy a $750 tv console and left with the console and a brand new reclining sectional, spending $3200! And we couldn't be happier or more confident with our purchase! It is difficult shopping with a toddler and Wanda made it so easy and we were in and out quickly because of the efficient staff. Our delivery driver was very professional and his team was quick to set everything up, they even helped me move our old sectional out. Beware before you buy a mattress there. I purchased a 2250.00 mattress which had a 100 day return after 3 weeks I just could not sleep on it anymore hurt my back. Went to Living spaces to return I was told cant return for 30 days really 31 so I still had 10 days to go. The I was told it would be a 199.00 restock fee and that they wont give my money back as I told them that is what I wanted. I had to buy another mattress there or I would be given a store credit. Not acceptable. Then I found out the 199.00 restock means they can resell that mattress as new. Gross so when u get a mattress there u dont know if it new or not. Now Im stuck I have to go on my 31st day and get another mattress. Im disgusted with living spaces. But then I should of learned my lesson as 5 years ago bought a sofa and chair and within 2 weeks the material was stretching out. I was able to get another set same thing, so finally on my third set it still was not right and they had to bring some out to my house to re-stuff the sofa and chair. DO NOT SHOP HERE! DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY!!!! We bought an area rug from Living Spaces. It has been shedding carpet fibers like a German Shepherd. There is carpet fluff and fibers everywhere. We have owned it for a month and a half and it is not getting better. We tried to use the extended warranty, and they told us that this issue didn't fall under it. We tried to go into the store, they said to call the Living Space's warranty. Then they told us, sorry, there is no manufacturer warranty on area rugs - it's an accessory. Not sure where all the negative reviews came from, but from my experience with Living Spaces it has been pretty good. This is my favorite furniture store to shop in because their staff due not earn commission of sales. No following me around the store or drilling me with questions on what I am looking for, unlike other furniture stores. When entering the store I am greeted right away and they let me know if I have any questions to ask them...then they left me alone to browse the store. SO NICE...to be able to shop without being hounded by sales people. I have purchased a couch and bed frame from them & used their home delivery service. So far, I haven't had any problems with their delivery! I was given a time frame & both times my orders came in that time frame. The delivery people were very friendly also! I recently had a Loveseat delivered, that weighed 191 lbs. I paid for the set up fee. The delivering staff, dropped the loveseat three times bringing it up to the house from the truck. Then they could not figure out how to get it into the house. They rolled the loveseat back to the truck. They contacted their boss, while I called customer service. They decided that they needed 3-4 people to get the Loveseat into the house, and I was told to call in the morning to set up a delivery date. When I called this AM, I was told they can not send 3-4 people and my option was to cancel the order. I moved into the house 2 weeks ago, and I find it interesting the movers had no problem moving my furniture into the house and they couldn't get a loveseat inside. I will never go back to Living Spaces again. Very poor customer service. Shame on this company. read more

Husband and I were in need of a bigger mattress and bed frame after purchasing our 1st home , we were helped by Kathy and I would want to thank her for being kind and helpful... she had us lay in different mattresses and we came across one that was perfect for us. We also purchased a bed frame I saw online. Since our mattress was over $1000 we qualified for free shipping (We normally dont pay for shipping since we live down the street) but since it was free WHY NOT !!! Biggest mistake ever We scheduled for next day delivery since it was past the cut-off time for same day delivery. We scheduled for 4-8 pm and never received a call from living spaces nor the driver it was around 7pm when my husband called to confirm the delivery they said the driver was running late and stuck in traffic, they then pushed our delivery from 8-10pm !!!!! We had no choice since we got rid of our old mattress during the day .... Around 9 they call us saying that the driver is super backed up and wont be coming until 12:30 1am !!!! WTF is this a joke it is now 10:43 pm my husband and 1 year old son are sleeping on our couch and Im dying waiting for your STUPID DRIVER !!!! You guys suck !!! Not only are you keeping me up but your probably going to wake up ALL my neighbors with the loud ass trucks you have Delivery got here at 1:03 am so ridiculous !!! read more

I couldn't give them less than one star. I purchased a sectional from Living spaces and within five months of light use the wheels came off of the ottoman. The wheel was repaired and now it has failed again, along with the seam of the cushion tearing. All with 18 months of the original purchase. The only answer that I get is that it is outside of the manufacture's warranty. I would expect this to happen if I purchased a cheaper product, but for $2600 and 18 months of use this is unsatisfactory. My family has easily spent over 10k at Living Spaces, and we will not spend another penny with them. Why sell products that you stand behind and useless warranties. read more

I have been a loyal Living Spaces customer for quite some time. We purchased our bedroom set, our dining table and multiple other furniture items throughout the year. We've had little issues with the company up until our recent purchase of our sectional. We have had our sectional for less than a year, and on one of the sections the leather is obviously defective or was treated differently. The rest of the couch is fine, except for the one piece of the sectional which is already cracking and has shows all scuffs. I made a claim on the limited warranty expecting it to be a simple process, however I was disappointed to hear that the company does not back their customer and is not concerned that they sold me a defective product. I was told that what I was concerned about was not covered by their warranty. I made a comment on the fact that it was obviously defective since none of the other leather is cracking or fading. They restated that the warranty does not cover that. We purchased a 3500 dollar sectional that within less than a year the one piece looks like the wear of a 10 year old piece of furniture and the fact that they won't back their furniture is very disappointing. All I asked was that they make it right and they wouldn't even honor that. Sad thing is that we are still paying on it so every month there will be a reminder of how poor the customer service is. We just sold our house and were going to be refurnishing the new one, sadly after the experience we had Living Spaces will not be where we will be looking. read more

They were not busy and I saw several staff members just chatting away. We walked the entire store without a single sales person asking us if we needed help...once again. He was quiet and seemed nervous, the manager (Darell) was not much better. One of the pieces we wanted was backordered and we asked if we could have the floor model. They also lost a piece from a delivery we did get after waiting over a month, and still waiting on a call back on that item. Very hard to get any info from them. We tried to get help from three different sales people and then when we got someone to help us HE WAS RUDE AS HELL AND VERY SNOTTY. We got to the counter to pay and the girl at the desk Hannah Banana as he called her was rude and tried putting us aside to help another customer. She rang up our transaction and not one time did the sales guy check on us to make sure we were taken care of. We wanted to cancel our order but because it was a special order we were told they would keep 25% of our money for a restock we had not even left the store yet. We ordered whole bedroom set for our daughter, king foam mattress with adjustable base for us, and queen foam mattress with adjustable base for our son. Delivery scheduled for wed, they showed up with two kings adjustable base instead of a king and a queen. So then scheduled to come back next week to complete the full install . Tue the delivery guys showed up telling me they can not set up because they can not touch my mattress???( mind you this was the mattress they delivered last week with the wrong base). So they had to schedule me another delievery set up appointment for the following Thursday. It was on the order to remove the old box springs, and so they were willing to pick up the mattress to take the box spring! I'm not sure how they are going to do a full install without touching my furniture on Thursday, I spoke with delivery service manager Peter Rincon, all he did was go in circles, can't explain why they couldn't complete the set up this second time and had to schedule delivery people to come out for a third time! Next time you order from living spaces make sure you ask them about rules for touching your furniture, I had taken off a day from work just so I can have our bedroom set completed. This company does not care about customer service! No one at their customer service department seems to know why the setup was not done! This is more then frustrating!
