DO NOT BUY!!! By far the worst customer service and delivery experience ever! the quality of furnitures are extremely bad as well. We ordered over $25k worth of furnitures and paid extra fees for the weekend delivery, here is what happened: - on the day of delivery: 30% of furnitures are missing, the truck driver laughed: "they are cancelled and never on truck, this is very typical for Living Spaces delivery, don't expect to get the all or on time or in good condition". Well, lesson learned. Then after five unpleasant customer service calls, they rescheduled to a week later for that 30% missing items, - a week later on the day of first redelivery (you are right, won't be the only one, just read through): 50% of items went missing, same reason: it's the standard shopping and delivery experience at Living Spaces according to the driver. The first customer support said: "the only information I can give you is that they didn't get into the truck. What more do you want?" Then hung up on me. The second customer support said: "Due to confidentiality and security reasons, I'm not in a position to disclose why your furnitures went missing". After wasting 2 hours of my time, I finally rescheduled the delivery, WITH A FEE, yes, you heard that right. We need to pay a fee to correct a mistake from living space, I guess this is how they make profits in addition to over pricing low quality furnitures. - two weeks later at the second redelivery; 80% went missing, same BS all over again. - 1 month later at the third redelivery: 50% of remaining items went missing again. Same old same thing. - 1.5 months later at the forth delivery: 30% missing. At this point, I rejected the delivery and paid the restocking fee to RETURN EVERYTHING from living space. This time went smoothly, at least they can get all the garbage furnitures out without having to make another 4 appointments. Another joke: in response to negative experiences shared by hundreds of paying customers here on yelp, the business mechanically replied every time: just email the loud social media team at socialmedia@livingspaces.com, which is either unmonitored or directly connect you again with the same worst customer support team ever. I wish I had read reviews for living spaces before I made the purchase. If you still want to buy anything from them after reading all these unacceptable experiences, jokes are on you. read more

I came here looking for a new dresser for my bedroom. The sales associate, Rebecca, spent a lot of time with me finding the perfect fit for my room despite having very specific requirements. The furniture got delivered yesterday and it was amazing! Paid for the full service delivery which included staff building the furniture, delivering it, setting it up in your space and taking away all trash, which was amazing and so worth it! I wanted to specifically highlight Rebecca's customer service. I will definitely be coming back to Living Spaces specifically because of the amazing customer service! read more

The worst!!!!! Do not go there. We got a bed box there and at the time of the purchase they were not telling us that the item we purchased can not be returned or exchanged. When we asked for exchange or return the day it got delivered they started the game of no exception of returns even tho they didn't tell you at the first place. Spoke to customer service on 12/1 to order a bookcase for delivery today, 12/15/23. Called this morning because I had not received a call, email or text giving me the delivery timeframe. I was told they would call me to set up a timeframe and that the bookcase would be delivered to them on 12/19!!! Seriously!!!! WHY do you even set up a delivery date when you can't even deliver???? For 6+ weeks we have been asking for a manager. We bought a sofa that is now returned to your store because your sales person said our door needed to be at least 30" the email they sent us said the same thing. The delivery company they hired could not get it in and said it needed to be 38". They would not deliver the sofa. They returned it to the warehouse. We literally were told in the store that the door needed to be 30" we went home and measured and said it's 33" and were told that is good. BUT your shipper came with it and said no needs to be 38" If we knew we needed 38" door we would have never ordered the sofa. First we were told we would get a full refund. now we are being told less shipping and 25% (This is NOT our fault) We are also being told the refund can't happen because we asked to speak to a manager. True we did and have called, email over 8 times now and always being told they will call tomorrow, But we can NEVER get a manager to respond So we want our full refund and want it now. It has been over 2 months I have explained this at least 8 times on the phone and chat. read more

We bought a sectional couch here. We purchased the care free insurance plan. The right recliner never felt right!!! We told them about our problem. The insurance was a joke! They told us because we didn't report the problem the day we purchased that our claim was void! We had to pay FULL PRICE to replace the piece. A piece that never felt right. We had a great and easy experience here. After months of looking online, we finally found a great couch and loveseat at the price we wanted with the help of some nice and helpful employees. The ones we wanted were out of stock online, and they were very helpful with getting exact info on how long it would be until they are back in stock. We are also excited about their affordable spill/stain warranty. They have stuff for every budget and every item is marked with a qr code so you can easily get on their website and make sure the product you're buying has good reviews. read more

My wife and I walked away from the almost hour-long conversation with Alex very informed with multiple options for our next mattress. He's only been a sleep specialist for almost three months, so it was quite impressive with how much we were educated on a variety of mattresses. His knowledge alone (and obviously the mattress we see the most value in) will be the only reason why we will purchase a mattress from Living Spaces. Thank you, Alex! read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. WHERE TO BEGIN!? 1. Brandon on the floor who sells the mattresses point blank lied to us and told us that the mattress could sit on slats temporarily while waiting for the adjustable bed frame. When delivered, they refused to put the bed on the slats for safety reasons. 2. Had to wait for a temporary box spring to be delivered in order to use the bed and mattress. 3. Adjustable bed-frame NIGHTMARE - bought the bed at the end of March still no adjustable bed-frame. No one contacted me... I had to contact Living Spaces. I now have to change my delivery date and they want to charge me additional delivery fees to change the delivery date. 4. Delivery man who delivered our temporary box springs called my mom a crazy old woman when she asked then to wear shoe coverings on our recently professionally cleaned carpet. 5. Prices! Overpriced furniture. Yes my bad for not shopping in other places I was exhausted from our move and we needed a bed but WAY OVERPRICED! Don't blame the supply shortage. We also bought mattresses' from Sleep Mattress and Ashley Home Store and both experiences were PERFECT! We bought beautiful bed frames at Costco for $200 a piece that are gorgeous. My only regret was to buy from Living Spaces when there are other stores that have great customer service, great delivery service, and BETTER PRICES!!! Do yourself a favor and don't walk away ... I'm not an expert at interior design or furniture, but this place was by far the best all around for us furnishing our house Quality: 5 Value: 5 Service: 5 We came here earlier in the pandemic (when indoor shopping was more broadly allowed) and they took our temperature and gave out hand sanitizer at the door; every staff member had gloves and masks. We were asked if we needed help multiple times, but not in a pushy way, and we enjoyed trying everything out and getting input from a sales rep who could match our desires with what they had in stock. I'm no expert, but their prices are competitive with IKEA and Wayfair, and the quality seems better than Wayfair and IKEA's lower end stuff. They also offer easy financing and a killer warranty (replacement if it can't be cleaned) which is a must for pets / kids in the house. The only real downside is some stuff we wanted was out of stock, and we had to wait a few weeks to see if it would come back (and it did, so that worked out). read more

Sofa was cream, they mailed me a gray cover. That wasn't going to stop the sagging. Many emails later his words, we do not offer refunds after 7 days. Store credit I wasn't shopping at LS again. The in store service was great and I really enjoyed the helpful of the staff. I was able to buy a mattress & adjustable base and get it delivered the same day! Unfortunately the next day the adjustable base broke and almost called an electrical fire... I couldn't get in touch with the store because they don't publish the phone number and when getting in touch with the 3rd party warranty people they say it will be a month before they can get to me. I wish I had looked at their bad yelp reviews before purchasing. In short, I canceled an item and paid a restocking fee for an item that didn't need to be re-stocked and a delivery fee for an item that was not delivered. I actually really liked Living Spaces before this experience, and we have spread a lot of good word of mouth to others. The staff in the showroom was helpful and friendly. We previously bought a couch and dresser that we love and had our eye on a dining room set and another bedroom set. But yesterday I purchased a pull out sofa, and we got home and measured it, and didn't like the fit. We called them first thing this morning and they still charged us the delivery fee and a 10% restocking fee ($200 total) for a delivery tomorrow because it was within 48 hours of delivery. They didn't even apply the $25 coupon from my previous purchase & positive review to these fees. They did not explain this 48 hour rule upon purchase, that since I was purchasing within 48 hours that I could not cancel without a $200 fee. It was in their T&Cs and it really surprised me that they stuck to their T&C's so strictly given how quickly I canceled. They said the item was already on the truck and I just have a hard time believing that given delivery today was not available. The call center said only the store manager had the ability to waive the fee, the store manager said only the call center had the ability to waive it. So that was also frustrating. My advice for others, if you are not 110% on something, then set the delivery date to a week or two out so you have a couple days to think about it without incurring fees, and don't make the same mistake we did. read more

If I could leave less than one star, I would. 10/10 would not recommend buying from this company. Save yourself the headache. They will waste your time and money. I went into the store and spent about two hours shopping for a couch. My partner and I finally decided on a couch, but needed to go home to measure the room to ensure it would fit comfortably. The sales person who helped me, Albert, set up the order for us so all we would have to do when we got home was pay for the order if the couch did fit the space. We get home, couch dimensions fit, we pay. The email we receive says it's going to be delivered in two weeks. Great! So two weeks goes by and on day 12 they say production of the couch is delayed another 2 weeks. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying because at this point I had already sold my previous living room set leaving me with no furniture in my living room. So another two weeks goes by and I receive a call saying the couch is ready. YAY! - But wait, there's more. So, I call to schedule the delivery day. They tell me they would call me the next day to schedule the window of time it would be delivered. Never got the call and never got a response when I reached out. So they show up at 7am on a Sunday. I travel for work and am not home. My partner rushes over there only for them to have left 12 minutes earlier and tell him they will not turn around even though the couch is on the truck and they are still nearby. How courteous. So I call customer service. They proceed to tell me I now had to repay for the delivery service because I missed my original delivery time - mind you, the delivery time was never scheduled. So my partner has to go to the store in Millbrae- we live in SF, so this is pretty inconvenient. The customer service agent at the store was magically able to get the truck to come back the same day between 6pm - midnight. Not ideal being that he works early on Monday, but whatever. We just want the couch we paid for. So the delivery arrives around 8pm. We ordered a left arm sofa and a right side chaise. They delivered a left arm sofa and a left side chaise. How in the world it made it all the way through production without someone catching this is beyond me. So my partner refuses to sign for the chaise since it is the wrong piece. The delivery man gives him a bit of a hard time, but he has a job to do as well and this most certainly was not his fault. The delivery driver finally takes the incorrect piece back and leaves. So we then have to return to Millbrae AGAIN the next day because the customer service number is useless. We get to the store and explain to them how difficult it was to get help from the customer service line and they respond "oh yeah, they don't do anything. always just come in." - Like I have the time to just drop everything and drive over here for their mistakes. Cool. The in person staff were nice enough, but did absolutely nothing to accommodate such a big mistake the sales rep Albert had made. As I was explaining what had happened to the manager, he repeatedly spoke over me and dismissed what I had to say. I called him out and "please, you go ahead" - which I guess was his first recognition of him even treating me in such a way. He tells me to go ahead and say what I have to say. Thanks for the permission to let me speak. Extremely condescending and awful management. The staff had to send the right side chaise into production and said it would be expedited. That was a cute little lie. So anyways, two months later, we received the whole couch while getting no reimbursement, no store credit, and nothing more than an "I am sorry this happened" from Living Spaces for the huge mistake, untimely manufacturing, and complete disrespect. So...I really don't know WHY????...I wasn't helped to complete a sale. I came to this location Thursday evening a bit before 5p. I had previously seen a couch I wanted in the San Leandro location. Trying to put a big couch in a small location is my problem. Anyway, didn't know the name of the couch or the exact dimensions. When I came in the store, I noticed they had a greeter (even though I was on the phone). After I got off my call, I went to the greeter and shared what I needed, so as not to waste time. A sales lady took over, found my order and printed out the name & dimensions. She then waved me upstairs and said the couch is there. Ok, I thought the wave off a little weird, but maybe the couch is easy to spot upstairs. I go upstairs and you guess it... waste another 30 min or so trying to find the couch. Finally, I interrupt another customer and sales assoc to try to get help. The assoc tells me yes the couch is in the corner. I then wander to the said corner.... Still can't find the couch. I have now walked through the downstairs 1x and the upstairs 2xs.... Totally frustrated... Then just done! As I'm leaving the store, the greater (who may be a manager)... ask if I found what I was looking for?". This one question gained them another star. If only a sales person would have asked that question one time in my wandering experience... OR just followed through to complete the sale. I sd "unfortunately NO". ......Now here is where it gets even more ridiculous....... Both sales ppl that I had interactions with where at the door standing next to the greeter. They then start piping up explaining what they thought I meant. I just left while they talked... Instead of just having some follow-up. It's unreasonable to expect a customer to endlessly wander your store when they directly and clearly state how you can help. If you can't help, call for back up and clearly state to the customer, either that "xxx will be coming to help" OR " you will come to help in XX". Associates at this store needs better training on service. A simple "hi, I'm X, is there anything you're looking for specific today.... If you see anything is be happy to help'. Then be in the general area...ie accessible to paying customers. read more

Just look at how many reviews there are and how horrible their ratings are. The delivery people never arrived, but claimed they delivered our furniture. Our delivery was not only rescheduled without notice twice, but Living Spaces delivery personnel said they delivered our chairs when they did not. We purchased a table and six chairs and received a tracking link that showed the driver never arriving to our address. Yet they marked it as delivered - a lie. I spoke to several different people in customer service on the phone and through the online chat to not receive an answer as to what happened and when we will receive our order. We paid for assembly too. Horrible customer service, lying delivery people, and still have not received our dining table AND chairs set. Went home to measure as it was final sale. Customer service agent noted that the couch had been sitting on the floor for 4 weeks. Returned on Friday (less than 24 hours later) to purchase and there was a new price of $1185. When I asked management he stated that part of the couch was missing last night. My pictures showed differently. Another customer service employee stated that @livingspaces does this and lies to customers all the time, changing prices on items after noting another price. What happened to good old customer service? What about your low price guarantee policy you pride yourself on? Clearly it was the stores error, customer should have been right. The products were good. It was the commissioned sales agents that made things horrible. The sales agent literally followed us (my husband and I) around and continued to badger us, even though we stated multiple times that we did not want assistance. We actually wanted to buy a few items but first needed to take a few minutes to discuss amongst ourselves to decide what exactly products we wanted. We asked for a few minutes to ourselves to make some decisions, but the sales person would still not leave us alone and we got so overwhelmed by her constant talking that we walked out. We would have brought several items if we were given a chance to choose what items we wanted, rather than being pressured to buy whatever item gave the sales person the most commission. read more

I had to leave a review on this place because the poor rating almost made me avoid visiting this location. I visited the San Leandro location and wondered around for HOURS not one rep asked if I needed help. To be fair, it was on a Saturday and very busy and that place is much larger than the Millbrae location (or at least it felt like it) I was an easy sell, I knew what I wanted and just wanted to come in and get a sense of the fabric color in person because it was hard to tell from the stock images online. I arrived at the Millbrae location on a Thursday afternoon and walked in on a phone call (yes, I was that annoying customer smh) after the call ended I circled back to the front and I was greeted (again) by a very warm and welcoming associate, who even apologized for her previous greeting in case it interrupted my call (I was sure to tell her there was no need for any of that). She let me know that all associates were busy but directed me to the area of the store in which I could find my desired items (sectional with a sleeper) and she mentioned she would send an associate to help as soon as one was free. I had about a good 7 minutes of role playing and envisioning myself in my soon to be new living room, and sure enough an associate came over to help. The transaction was quick and painless, the associate dealt with my indecisiveness effortlessly and helped me execute my purchase. Upon leaving the same associate that greeted me asked "how were the sectional sleepers? Did you get helped out by the associate that came upstairs?" I mentioned that everything went smooth and I was excited for my new sofa. I do not like discounting other's experience but I do think it's important for these great interactions to be captured to continue to help physical businesses thrive. I am glad I stopped by after work and now I can cross off getting a couch off my todo list. I recommend this location for sure and will be a repeat customer in the future. read more

This review is solely based on my experience of walking around in the store. As another reviewer said, I felt like prey where the sharks (the sales reps) were just waiting to prey on. Every 15 steps, I would get stopped by a sales rep asking if I needed help. The first few were ok, but after getting constantly stopped, it was just simply annoying. When we finally had some questions and flagged one of them down (Umit), upon telling him we were not buying today, he just gave us the swatches and brochure and walked away when we still had questions. Bought leather power recliners from Living Spaces with an extended warranty. Owned the sofa and love seat for just over a year, how convenient it breaks. Less than 1 month past Living Spaces manufacturer warranty, but no worries we bought the extra warranty. If you didn't know, Living Spaces contracts out the extended warranty. So after your first year is up Living Spaces has nothing to do with their customers anymore, and they let you know that. Instead my power recliner has been stuck in the recline position for the past 3 months trying to deal with the contractor of living spaces extended warranty. I've called Living Spaces and their contractor and still no results. Buyer beware of living spaces and their contractor. From here on out I will be buying from a different furniture store. read more

I recently moved to the bay area and was in need of a sofa. On my way home the store associate called and wanted to charge more for the delivery. My view is that they needed to honor the price they had already charged me. After asking for a manager to call me I was told he was out of town. A few moments after speaking with the associate an extremely rude woman called stating she was the manager and gruffly asked me what my problem was. After telling her I paid one price for a delivery they wanted to charge more and that I expected that they honor the original prove charged. I was rudly and sarcastically told no. At which point I asked to speak with the district manager. And was laughed at and told no. After this horrible exchange I then said I was going to the BBB to which again very rudely responded that they would refund the sale because they didn't need my business. Upon entering I was instantly greeted by RENEE, This was the most comfortable customer service I've experienced in a while. Never felt pressured or obligated and she elaborated on alot of detail within every object and highlighted their best features. I valued my time spent here and felt welcome. Aside from me being picky the options felt endless and she helped me find exactly what I was looking for and wasn't bothered that it took some time. I would definitely come back, the floor supervisors were helpful but this employee went above and beyond for her customer and thats what we like to see. read more

Update review: Living spaces was able to get furniture delivered before thanksgiving. However, I'm even more upset! When you shop in the living spaces, they have sales associates that are experts in different furniture. The sales associate we had, needs a lot more training. We showed them a blue print with dimensions of our living room and he assured us multiple times the furniture would fit in our living room. He also said delivery folks would place furniture where we want it, and unpackaged it for us. The 2 pieces of furniture we bought do not fit in the living room. (Unless you want the entire floor to be furniture and hide the TV.) And the delivery people did not unpackaged. We are now stuck with a chair that we had to put upstairs in a guest bedroom (that doesn't fit very well) as they don't allow us to return items. read more

This store are just full of people who act like they care, but don't care at all. We went in, found a couch we liked, and we were told about the 88 inch rule. They said that if our ceiling is higher than 88 inches at any point, the couch were selected, will fit no problem. Our ceilings are a lot higher than that. Upon delivery, the last piece of the couch did not fit, so we went back to the store and wanted to get a smaller size so we could have our couch. Even though it's smaller. They said we have to get something of equal value and they will have to charge us a delivery fee again. After selling us on this. The manager was quick to come see us for a sale, and didn't even want to speak with us when we asked the delivery fee to be waived and we would eat the $100 cost. Yea. Living spaces is a horrible company and they have cheap business tactics. The worst experience buying anything ever. Quick to sell to you, but once sold, they couldn't care less. Overall, our experiences here have been ok but full disclosure, we haven't ordered from them yet and are planning to. We've seen items here that we liked a lot, and we feel like we found the perfect couch for our new house, so we plan on ordering a custom couch from here. They have plenty of different configurations you can work with, so you can really build nearly any design that will fit the size of your rooms since that's always the fixed constraint with buying furniture. Not really an original idea given the number of custom couch places out here (i.e. Lovesac) but I found their options to be reasonably priced and sufficiently customizable. Pros: Friendly, attentive staff who are willing to walk you through all the different permutations you can build a couch with their custom models Plenty of displays, most of their popular items are here. There's still something about having a real display to try for something as comfort-focused as couches where you need to sit in it to really know if it's right. Cons: Only a showroom -- you may order things for delivery from here. If you want to actually pick up something on the spot, go to the Fremont warehouse, but that place is a different story IMO. Parking is shared with a bunch of other businesses such as Trader Joe's -- can be cramped on weekends. read more

I bought two throw pillows on Friday 5/26 at Living Spaces in Milbrae and was told they would be delivered in 2 days Sun by UPS. I questioned that UPS does not deliver on Sun. He Promised. Of course, there is no delivery of pillows. After 4 calls today, I am finally told it could take 15 days. They totally lied to make a sale. This is the second horrible experience last time, I was delivered a broken chair in 2022. STAY away. The sales reps have no knowledge of the furniture, and the sales rep are shady. read more

I saw one online that was on sale and I loved the style of - was able to see on display at the Millbrae store. Went to the store to check it out and loved it even more in person and spoke to a sales rep (who was nice, but definitely very sale's person like). I have no problems with sales reps being in your face, I understand they are trying to make a living too but I can also see how that can turn some people off. Went ahead and purchased the table on sale, asked if they had new ones in stock and not "As Is" as seen in the showroom (with scratches). The sales rep checked and re-assured there were a few in stock. We purchased chairs from a different dining room set that we liked better and were also on sale. Sales rep confirmed they had plenty of those in stock as well. Went ahead with the purchase (a big one), a large extendable dining room table with 8 cloth chairs. Really excited and happy we bought a large (and first) dining room purchase for a great deal, great design. Weird thing was the Sales Rep mentioned we could get the dining room set as quickly as next weekend (which was not true, they shouldn't say that). Anyways - our dining room set was scheduled to arrive 2 weeks later (which is fine I guess...a bit disappointing). Fast forward 2 weeks, delivery guys come (the delivery texting/scheduling I liked), and the first thing the delivery person says to me "DID YOU ORDER AN AS IS TABLE?" and I immediately knew something was off. The warehouse manager was so confident in my order that I ordered an AS IS table (meaning used, from the showroom, scratched), that he sent it with the delivery guys. Nowhere on my order invoice stated that. The delivery person calls customer service to double check, and they confirm my table is supposed to be new. So now I have 8 chairs and no table. 2 weeks and 2 days later, my table FINALLY arrives. I have been without a dining room table for over a month. 3 days ago was the first time we used all the chairs (there's only 2 of us in the house). We found out 3 chairs were cracked at the base and legs, only because those chairs were finally used (because we finally got a table to use them with), and they began to wobble. Turned them over, the wood was cracked. Called customer service, sent a warranty claim with photo evidence. Just received an email back saying we are approved for 2 chairs to be exchanged and will be contacted for shipping costs. SHIPPING COSTS? I think not, after experiencing the wrong table order, 1 month delay in table arrival, AND 3 broken chairs, now they expect me to pay for shipping costs? I will update once I get this situation finalized. Living Spaces customer service has been good the last 2 times I called in regards to asking where my table was, and about the cracked chairs. Other than that, I don't feel like Living Spaces as a company themselves understand how or want to make amends with their mistakes and with making the customer happy and wanting to come back. If it gets worse, I will update my review to 1 star. Otherwise, the furniture looks (and price) are GREAT, not so sure about quality and shipping. read more

Absurd Return Policy and unprofessional Associate/Manager Tried to return some pillows today that I had shipped to me. Was not aware of the absurd 7-day return policy and was 2 days late. I explained that I have a full time job so it's difficult to get into the store during the week and my mom recently died so I was occupied with other things. Neither the associate nor the manager I asked to speak with were helpful. They dismissed me and were not at all empathetic/understanding. They told me I would need to call their customer service and maybe they could make an exception since it was a delivery. I asked them to call for me on their landline while I was there because I was trying to avoid having to bring the giant box of pillows back with me. Unfortunately not only were they unhelpful, but they also were unable to dial an outside line (or maybe they didn't want to help me - haven't quite figured that out). The people on the phone were just as "helpful" as the people at the store and provided me with a PO Box address to send a letter to. Everyone I've talked to has been shocked when they hear about a 7-day window. Hopefully LivingSpaces rethinks this ridiculous window. I am never shopping at Living Spaces again and will try other means of recouping a refund for pillows I don't want. read more

So this new furniture store popped up in the old Kohl's location. We were in the market for some major furniture purchases and decided to take a look. Upon entering, the space seemed massive. Multiple floors, bright, and squeaky clean. The greeter at the door was cheerful and clearly wanted to survey why we dropped in. After reading all the reviews here, I have to say that I didn't experience any pushy salesperson nor felt pressured to purchase, BUT I did tell the greeter at the door I was just walking by and just wanted to take a look around. So maybe that's the key - if you don't want to be followed by sales people, don't tell them you're looking for something. But on the other hand, make sure you utilize them to assist if needed. The quality of the products do seem to be of a better quality than IKEA. And the store is definitely easier to navigate. Walked around a little bit and saw a few things that caught my eye. Asked a salesperson some questions about delivery and availability, and then it began - the sales pitch started about being non-commissioned, 5-yr warranty program, next day delivery, ... so get ready if you show any interest. She wasn't pushy and was really quite nice. It just felt like she went into robot mode churning out an abundance of sales information. I do like the store layout and products, and probably will buy some pieces from them. But what I really like is the huge amount of parking spaces right outside the back door of the store. Super convenient. I hope the store survives. Hopefully they'll take the comments here on Yelp to develop a better shopping experience. read more

I've seen the commercials and got excited when Living Spaces officially opened today. I heard that it's more of a bit more upscale Ikea. I liked what they did with the old Kohl's space but it still seems a bit small for a furniture store despite being 3 floors. The quality is probably better than Ikea but still a bit pricey on some items. I was mainly looking for a tufted headboard but they only sell them as bed frames. We have been thinking of replacing our old Ikea coach too and funny enough they have a total look alike but on clearance it was still about $250 more. We sat on a few couches and they all felt a bit stiff, not very comfy for the furniture item the whole family spends the most time on. There was a cool looking coffee table that lifts out and up with some storage that we would consider going back for. Other than that, there wasn't too much to tickle my fancy. There were a lot of sales people on the floor, but they were friendly and helpful and don't work on commission. They even have a little coffee and infused water station for customers. Maybe as the months go by there will be more furniture that will fit my tastes. 3 stars for the time being for friendly service, okay prices(not cheap Ikea prices but not absurd Scandinavian Designs prices), and a nice clean store. I don't see the hype but I can see why people like Living Spaces. We've matured where we get excited by "grown up" purchases like our Vitamix, but I still haven't been excited by furniture or decor purchases. Lol maybe in a few more years? read more

3/15/21 First experience thus far. Ordered a couch online. Got an email stating it would be delivered today. Confirmed it through their website. Made sure to get the time off from work to accept the furniture. All of the sudden my tracking link doesn't work. Yet no word on cancellation. So I call customer service, wait for 15 minutes and am finally told that my furniture isn't coming today but will now come 2 days from now. When asked why? They respond "I don't know sir." This isn't the end of the world but something tells me this isn't the end of my problems with this company. I was going to spend thousands more with this company but now I am holding all future orders until they can deliver on their promises. 3/16/21 Ah yes how did I know? My delivery was canceled again. They said a delivery team member will call or email me within 48 hours to let me know of a new delivery date! These reviews with bad experiences weren't kidding. I thought I would get better treatment at livingspaces vs ashley furniture but it appears they are the same caliber. I will continue to update this review as it moves along. 3/19/21 My shipment may be delivered tomorrow. Granted things go well and my product is as described without damage then I will be deleting this review and giving livingspaces the benefit of the doubt. Even though this has been a headache I am not a completely unreasonable person. 3/20/21 Alright, after two cancelations and about 6 calls to customer service my couch arrived. The 4 feet I had to take off for it to clear 30.5 inches. One foot had been put on incorrectly at the warehouse, they drilled through the plastic and now one leg sits lopsided. Also my couch only came with 2 throw pillows instead of the 4 that it was supposed to come with. So i had to call customer service again to request 1 new leg and the two missing throw pillows. Overall this experience has been a headache and I just wish I could have gotten what I ordered as described and on time. 04/05/21 So they will exchange my couch. But they dont have any in stock of my model. So maybe in a few weeks they said. For now I have a couch so I am not trippin. Just keeping my review updated 04/29/21 So I finally received what I once thought I would get a month and a half ago. The product is good and the 2nd delivery was okay but they also showed up hours earlier than the tracking window had estimated. My advice for anyone who considers ordering from livingspaces is don't expect it to be on time. I know for me the main reason I chose livingspaces vs other vendors was because the estimated delivery date was quick and attractive, however it didn't arrive till a month and a half later. So if you are in a rush to get something this is probably not the right choice for you. read more
