Pretty Solid Thin Crust Style Pizza here at this small but still incredibly functional old school spot. You'd be forgiven if at first glance you thought there's nothing particularly special about Livingston Pizza but the fact is that this place has so much more to offer than any first impression might yield. And upon further inspection it just so happens that yours truly has found this spot to offer an excellent Pizza experience. Like I said it's Thin Crust Style so to me that just means I get to devour more of it, Lol. The Sauce that they use here is a perfectly seasoned Marinara topped with a delicious Mozzarella blend which makes for a super delicious slice. Toppings are plentiful and fresh ingredients are evident in each and every tremendously tasty bite. As I'm always on the lookout to try new pizzerias, I stopped by Livingston Pizza for lunch today. I had seen Yelp reviews indicating that it was an old time place and they were right on! The first thing that hits you is there is no seating, it's all takeout. That was fine since it was a nice day and I went to the park. I went with the lunch special of 2 plain slices and a can of soda for $5.50. Not a bad deal! Pizza was pretty good. Very thin crust. Some grease dripping from slice, but that never bothers me. Reminds me of places in the city I grew up on. Overall, if you're looking for something to take out for lunch or if you live in area and are having it delivered, not a bad choice! read more

Food is not good. Pizza is generic and tasteless. Most everything else is awful. Owner and staff are grumpy, smug, and don't give a crap about customer service. Pizza was good, but not great. Ambiance was horrible. There was a Spanish dude scratching lottery tickets at counter. Didn't help me. No showcase of what slices they have. I had to ask. Some older dude said yes they have slices. How many? No mention of if I want toppings. Just asked if I want it in a bag. No tables to eat at. Soda selection was poor. I got two slices and a can (12oz) of Diet Dr. Pepper for $5.50. As I left there was a sign for same deal but with 20oz soda. You think he'd say that it comes with the 20oz. Not very friendly at all. I was quite disappointed in their customer service. I ordered off a coupon which said 2 large pies for $17.95 and the person who took my order failed to inform me that it was the price for only two plain cheese pies. I ordered a plain cheese and a veggie pie and even told the lady I wanted to use the coupon. She said ok make sure you have the coupon when you get the pizzas delivered. The delivery person comes and charges me $40 something. Then a guy calls me from Livingston pizza and tells me its my fault. I told him I clearly told the lady I want to order two pies for $17.95 and she failed to mention that I couldn't customize the order. The guys tells me she doesn't need to mention it to me, I have to know what I'm ordering. Are you kidding me? This is my first time ordering from Livingston Pizza and this is the amazing customer service I received. Safe to say Im never going back there and warning to all: know what you're ordering. Good food, and friendly owner/co-owner gets Livingston Pizza five stars. Livingston Pizza was my favorite for cheese pizza, but they have since switched to cheaper materials. Nonetheless they still make one of the best cheese pies, and their specialty pizza menu is limited but good. My personal favorite is the stuffed vege pizza, but I cannot recommend this as it is probably 500 calories a slice; you would have to be a glutton like me to enjoy eating a ton of vegetables that are making you fat (well really the cheese is). For a pizza place, they make really good sandwiches. They do a good job with the breading, and I suggest the grilled chicken/mozzarella/eggplant or philly cheesesteak. read more

Stopped by here with my kid to grab a pizza for home. The outside of the place is disgusting, which kind of sets the tone on what to expect. Cigarette butts everywhere. I mean everywhere. The inside of the place felt just as dirty. Very grimy and beat up-which made me think twice about eating here but when you have a screaming kid who needs dinner, you kind of go with what your options are at that moment. As for the food-I ordered a plain pizza to go. It's no different than any other fast food pizza place. My advice would be to skip this place and head down the block. The food was cold and disgusting!!! In addition to the bad food, the customer service was equally horrible. After ordering over $40 of food, I realized that the delivery was missing parts of the order and when I called to resolve my concerns I was told that despite seeing the missing items added on my receipt, I wasn't charged for them and they refused to return to correct the order. I'm giving Livingston Pizza two stars: One because the customer service over the phone was very good, and two because the delivery service was very good. The two pizzas we ordered were simply horrible: too saucy, to much like cardboard, waaaay overpriced, and leftover pizza should taste better cold the next day. (This was barely edible.) We were interested in trying a new pizzeria in the area. There are plenty of options in the area including some chains that have always been good. We thought it would be right to support a local small business for a change. When i walked in to pick up my order, I greeted the person behind the counter with a smile and said hi. Best "Regular Slice Pie" pizza in town, but do yourself a favor and have it delivered. Everytime I go inside, I walk in the back door (which is where most of the customers walk in because that's where there is parking) and I ALWAYS see the woman in the kitchen eating something with her hands. After ordering a take out from the Dominos on route 10 east Hanover I found that outlet to be dirty. I tried this place and liked their veggie pizza. They put a good portion of all the veggie toppings. However the base crust of the pizza looked like it has been soaked in water. I guess it may be due to all the water from veggies but there has to be a way to make it so that the base doesn't get soaked. We couldn't separate the slices without ripping a portion of the slice. I am going to try the plain next time and verify my doubt about the soaked base. read more

Best hero sandwiches in the area. Pizza great as well, try the Sicilian. They use fresh dough for bread for the heros so it's like a fresh baked "calzone like" sandwich.
