    2 dozen cream puffs
    Rachie P.

Stopped by solely for the cream puffs. Before a visit to any city, I'll normally do a search of foodies reviews/must eat, see or do's. When I saw these I immediately was intrigued. Where I'm from, cream puffs look completely diff. Ours are bigger, denser, and puffer. I liked the odd shapes and smaller bite sizes. About $8/dz I picked up 3 dozen for 4 of us I think. Took us over a day to go through them. Although they are quite light, the cream inside is a bit heavy and the powdered sugar Def made them quite sweet all together. Prob would be best with not so sweet coffee. Place was easy to find with lots of parking right out front. Made it a point to go early so we wouldn't miss out. If you're in the area this is Def a must try, but I don't think I'd go out of my way.

Came here to try out the cream puffs. I was planning to also order a dozen donuts, however I arrived at around 11a and there wasnt as much variety at this time. The cream puffs were quite good with not too much or too little custard in them. There is a bit of powdered sugar on them, so be sure to have a napkin with you when you're eating them! Even at the time, there were still quite a bit of customers here. The lady helping me out was nice and welcoming :) next time ill try coming here at an earlier time to try out their donuts!

5/5 for cream puffs! They're fluffy soft yet maintain shape, great custard distribution and ratio, with light powdered sugar covering :). These were great to share amongst others. The bacon, egg, cheese croissant sandwich was okay-- bacon was over done, thicker, and not crispy but otherwise does the job for a quick morning fix. Service was quick and friendly. Good flow of customers passing through. Large parking in the plaza. I'll be back just for the cream puffs!

PLUSH POWDERED PUFFS In the Try-City there are "mom and pop" donut shops that sell one item, which customers come back for. At Fresh Donuts & Bagels in Fremont the blueberry cake donut is in demand. At SK Donuts the cronut is very popular item. After seeing pictures I wanted to come to Lloyd's Donut Kitchen because of one item - cream puff. I came here today just past Noon. When I looked at the display window the tray with the cream puffs was empty. I asked one of the workers if the cream puffs were sold out. She said no and asked how many I wanted. I responded a dozen. Then she went to the kitchen to ask one of the bakers how long will the cream puffs be ready. The baker answered five minutes. Usually I would buy one more donut at a donut soup but as I ordered a dozen of cream puffs I didn't order another item. When I took a bite of one cream puff I was hooked. The dough was light and airy. The custard wasn't heavy. The powdered sugar added a gentle sweetness that melts in your mouth. Since these cream puffs were bite-sized you can get addictive to them. However a dozen of the cream puffs is enough for one person to eat. When I go back to Lloyd's Donuts Kitchen I'll try to order other items, but if I'm hesitant I'll rely back to these cream puffs.

I've always seen this donut shop whenever I go grocery shopping each week so this past Saturday morning I decided to try it out. When I parked I noticed a line out the door and a bunch of people in the area. I thought I would be waiting for a while but I was actually wrong. The employees are very quick and get you everything you need and ringing you up. At the same time they are super sweet and make sure you feel welcomed. The place was very clean and the donuts were all nicely organized and labeled in the glass. I got a box of 6 assorted and donut holes for my toddler. I can say that the donuts were a hit! They were very fresh and soft. My toddler can approve of the donut holes as well since he finished all 6 of them. I guess this place will be my go to spot from now on.

Saw a video on social media for their cream puffs so I figure I go try them out. It is a little bit bigger the a donut hole with a light cream inside and it was fluffy and soft. By far the best I ever had. The best part it is not too sweet!!! I was waiting for them to make my breakfast sandwich, and ate 4 of them and ordered another dozen. For $8 a dozen cant beat it!!! The breakfast sandwich on wheat bread with bacon, sausage patty and eggs was one of the best!!! I believe they used high quality products!! Ate half in the car before I got home to take a photo, so half sandwich photo!!! LOL!!! Will differently return!!!

Got the basics glazed ring and a chocolate cake donut fair prices. Glazed was good a little smaller sized compared to other places but was good and melted in my mouth.

Lloyd's Donut Kitchen located in the Mowry East Shopping Center. I never heard of Lloyd's Donut Kitchen until very recently, like this past year. During our late afternoon groceries runs to my M-I-L, I stumbled upon it but it was always closed. Get this...the owner is "Lloyd C." Wow, what a coincidence. Anyways, today, I got a chance to visit them during business hours. They are still a family business but different owners as Lloyd C retired and sold the business about 2 years ago. Classic old fashioned donuts at very affordable prices. No crazy flavors or wild concoctions. Inside seating available. Parking is plentiful. *Apple Fritter - a nice soft donut filled with sweetly spiced apple pieces and a sugary glaze. IMO, a pretty tasty fritter. Support your local business!

I happen to be in the area and thought to stop in really quick to try the cream puffs I heard of. I also ordered an apple fritter and a chocolate raised donut. The apple fritter is $3 something. It wasn't greasy and I thought it had a good flavor. The cream puffs were $9 for a dozen. A dozen is the only option available and that's just another way they get your $. These are prefilled with vanilla pudding so if you want to try them then best bet is to come in the morning or else I can imagine them sitting all day and getting soggy. I am not sure these are the standard pate a choux dough. They could be but then soggy because they prefill them. The flavor is good. Donut is unique. The raised chocolate donut is a solid donut. Nothing special. They post a sign of you pay with credit card they charge 50 cents extra. That seems really high surcharge. The place is clean and lots of donut options. Service was good. I would go back someday.

We came for the cream filled donut holes but just our luck they were ALL sold out! They must be that good because right after us 4 more people came in looking for them. I tried the chocolate top cream filled donut and the filling was SO GOOD! I'm not a donut filled type of girl, but this custard cream was the perfect amount of sweet without taking away from the rest of the donut. Really yummy alternative if the custard filled donut holes are sold out. I loved the old school style coffee shop vibes, gave it a very nostalgic experience with the paper newspapers at the front to read with your donut We ordered: Cream chocolate donut, chocolate bar, strawberry cheese strudel, & a maple cronut

We came in on a Saturday morning and the display case was well stocked with so many choices. We just got a classic chocolate glazed donut, but we also ordered a denver sandwich, and a sausage egg and cheese croissant. Service was fast and attentive, waits were reasonable, and the place offers comfy booth seating and tables, rare for a donut shop. We took our order to go and enjoyed the soft and melty ingredients in the sandwiches and fluffy fresh tasting donut on the road, the perfect meal to start our day.

Dozen donut holes, we always order this

I love places open early and with savory options, I've probably been to every donut place within 15 minutes and can't believe I haven't dropped a review for Lloyds yet. Lloyds is a nice local gathering spot and it's normal to see people chatting at the tables over coffee and donuts or picking up a dozen to go, this area of the plaza has plenty of parking and early in the morning all of the cars are here for Lloyds. Breakfast Sandwiches: quick to make and filling, they come cut in half and its two meals for us so quite a good deal. So many local options for these kind of sandwiches but Lloyds is good if you live close by. Donut Holes, Jelly Filled Donut, Cruller: Kids loved these, good solid donuts. We normally get a dilpzen donut Holes and then change up the donuts we get. I saw they had cronuts now that I'll try next time, these one aren't super tall like some of the other local options and look easier to eat. I'm not sure how to find the postings but sometimes there are classic car meetups outside and I would love to take the kids.

Come here regularly. Consistently delicious. Best breakfast sandwich and donuts. Great service. Will continue to go here and recommend to others. Classic donut shop vibes.

Cream puffs were coated with so much powdered sugar. Too sweet. Light dusting would have been better.

There's no seating area inside the bakery, but there are some tables outside next to a water fountain. Of the times that I've been there, it's mostly empty and clean, and the trash bins are not overflowing. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The brioche donut is soft but holds the fillings in well. There's also a bit of crunch from the sugar on the outside of the donut. There's an ample amount of filling, so you get to taste the flavors. So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I have seen some savory options but have not tried them. I will be back to explore the menu.
