I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese croissants for me and my husband and half a dozen of donuts , traveled 2hrs to home , and it's all worth it!! This is my go to place now! The people working at Vasy's are so incredibly sweet! Unfortunately, the same can be said for their donuts. I ordered a half dozen cronut holes, glazed buttermilk, maple old-fashioned, chocolate raised, and an apple fritter. All of the glazes for the donuts (with the exception of the apple fritter) were just tooooo sweet. I was so disappointed because the textures of all the the donuts were great, but you really couldn't eat more than a bite due to the sweetness. Oddly enough, the apple fritter wasn't too sweet. I figured they would use the same glaze, but I guess not? The fritter itself had a nice crisp and crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. However, it's hard to justify coming back here just for apple fritters alone. read more

Vasy's donut shop is pretty much my go-to for breakfast sandwiches since I live nearby. I mostly get the turkey avocado egg and cheese on a croissant. Their sandwiches have a good amount of filling, leaving you full and energized for the day. I absolutely love their cronut holes. Perfect texture and sweetness for me! Can't say much about their donuts since I don't get it that often. Sometimes they throw in extra donut holes as well. The ladies behind the counter are friendly and always smiling, making you feel welcomed. Personally, I think their breakfast sandwiches are better than their donuts. I like getting the Egg, Cheese and Avocado on a Croissant. The donuts are good, but on the heavier, denser side. This place has been here for YEARS. My dad would get a box of donut holes for swim meets growing up and 15+ years later they're still here. The donut holes were $3 for a dozen! It was the end of the day so they weren't as good as I remember, but I know Vasy's is a community favorite so I'll still stop by if I'm in the area! read more

Service is always so quick. If you want to try the breakfast sandwiches, try to order ahead of time because if it's peak hours (7-9 a.m.) you might have to wait a while. This tiny donut shop in Fremont has been open since I was a kid. I remember going here and it always being stocked well with donuts, croissants, cinnamon rolls etc. they also make breakfast sandwiches to order. Yes they also have coffee and chocolate milk. I came here while visiting family, and MAN, it hasn't changed. From the 3 tables inside, to the glass display cases and most of all, to the best donuts I've ever had, this place remains my favorite donut shop hands down!! No matter which donut you decide, it'll be top notch. My favorite is and has always been their Apple fritter. It's large and crispy and actually contains chunks of Apple. My fritters have always been warm like just taken out of the oven. If you can eat in one sitting, power to you. The staff is always friendly, quick and efficient. Came on a Friday morning around 7:30am. Ample parking since it's in a court with Safeway and other businesses. They have a variety of donuts, croissants and Bagels. I got a chocolate glazed and original glazed cake donut, along with a bag of donut holes. Total came out to less than $8. The donuts tasted just about the same as generic donut shops. BULK ORDER REVIEW: I recently ordered 12 dozen strawberry glazed donuts for a Valentine's event at our church. Their prices are pretty reasonable (compared to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin'). The donuts were made fresh that morning and were ready at the time specified. The staff there is really friendly and aim to please. So how are strawberry glazed donuts? The donuts themselves where so fresh, fluffy, and tender. The glaze though had a slightly artificial strawberry taste, but wasn't terrible. Many people loved it. I ordered an everything bagel with egg extra bacon and cheese and it was so good. They offered jalapeños as well. I tried the ice coffee with half and half which was good as well. Went to another donut shop closer to where we live for a about 2 months up until I found a cockroach in my coffee I don't want to say where because I'm not about putting businesses on blast. I'm currently enjoying the second half of yesterday's sandwich, and I felt it would be ungrateful of me to not share my thoughts. I was so satisfied after eating the first half that I decided to save the rest for today, and it's just as delicious. Earlier, my daughter and I ordered sandwiches after a busy day of running errands. On our way home, I couldn't resist taking a few bites. While my taste buds were delighted, I ended up having to change my shirt when we got home. This sandwich was loaded with toppings (excluding lettuce) and the meat was incredibly thick, at least an inch. Unlike other places where I've ordered avocado, where it's barely noticeable, this sandwich had avocado in every bite. We even joked about feeling like we were disrespecting the croissant that held all the deliciousness, because it was so good on its own. The croissant was large, flaky, and tender, and would probably be best enjoyed alone or with something light like butter or jam. Considering how expensive things have become, it was refreshing to find a sandwich that not only offered great taste but also good value. We will definitely be returning! read more
