Amazing service and quality! I've brought in some really rough looking JDM centers off my 3 piece wheel to get rechromed. The price is reasonable and the quality is impressive. Down time was very minimal! It took only a week to get my centers back. Highly recommend for any chrome work!

I brought my 1948 Harley Davidson Panhead Motorcycle Frame to LM Chrome to be polished and chromed. They were expensive but I was willing to pay to get it done right. They did a horrible job. The worst chrome motorcycle frame I have ever seen. They only polished what they thought would be visible instead of polishing what was actually visible. They should have polished 100% of the frame. They only polished 60% of the frame. Then they chromed it. Some parts are a nice mirror finish and some look like they chromed over rhino lining. I asked them to redo it and they won't return my phone calls or emails. They have completely ghosted me. Now I have to take it somewhere else and redo everything. See you in court LM Chrome!!!

I called them and the guy answering the phone was so unhelpful. I needed artifacts from my temple electroplated and he takes these big sighs as he's talking and tells me how he doesn't know and he's not the expert. The number he gave me to text images to didn't even reply to me. I was ready to pay whatever price because we're having a donor pay for this and was willing to give them business on an annual basis. But I mean guess not. read more

I dropped off my wheels to Daniel with LM and told him I needed them about 3 weeks out. I forgot about a car show that was coming up and called him to ask to rush the order. Hesitant at first but they were able to meet my deadline and I'm so appreciative. The copper wheels came out great and quality of work seems perfect. I wish I could give 0 stars to this place. I took back some exhaust heat shield, the chrome was peeling off. I was told that they were going to redo the all thing, I just picked it up and once I made it back home I noticed that they did a poorly touch up on the peeling part. The insider the parts is still with bubbles. I will definitely not go back to this place. That is a bad way to do business read more

Took in some old-school 80s GTBMX parts. Talked to the guys there let them know it was important and very critical not to lose certain stamped marks which makes all the value of these Gt parts... And when I received them, they couldn't have looked more perfect- if not even better to their new show finish. I would highly recommend bringing your parts to the shop on top of everything very fair price and good turnaround times. Very satisfied and highly recommendable read more

Formally Gorilla Chrome. Probably changed there name due to failures. My rims detoriated after 5 months after numerous emails, phone calls & faxes I got no where. Threw them in the dumpster. My recommendation is buy new. Not worth the money read more

I had to drive a couple hours to get to LM Chrome's location in Orange County because there aren't any chrome plating businesses near me and there aren't many left in California probably due to EPA laws and regulations; I think this place is capitalizing off this because they are expensive. On top of that they lost one of the pieces I gave them to chrome. They also took about two weeks longer than they had stated, so beware of your parts and time frame. To their credit, they did deduct a fair amount for the lost part, but what a hassle to have to reorder and find another place to chrome the part again. I was surprised they have such a good star rating, but their customer service, call backs, etc. could also be more efficient and effective. read more

Bought a 2013 Mercedes CL 600 from Fletcher Jones. They declined to chrome the wheel because the car was seven years old. Spoke with Alicia about doing the job. I decided to have a few parts chromed for a project I was working on. So I contacted a few places in the area and felt that LM Chrome was the best choice for my project. Everything from pricing to their customer service was top notch. I spoke with a very nice lady over the phone who spent the time going over everything with me. When I arrived I was greeted by Lamberto who helped me throughout the entire process. The day before the scheduled completion date I received a call letting me know it was done. I found this shop on the internet I was looking to Chrome my 1988 Pontiac fiero rims I met with one of the staff members he explain in detail what he could and could not do he was very professional I was truly impressed by his knowledge .and when I got my rims back I was Truly impressed how the rims came out they were awesome I highly recommend this shop no matter how far you have to drive it's worth it take all your projects here they won't let you down read more

Lamberto - LM Chrome Plating Corp Lamberto Sr. has been involved in the metal finishing industry for 30 years. He started as a metal polisher in his early 20's for a corporate OEM wheel manufacturer, and then upon opportunity opens his first metal production polishing operation with his brother in La Habra. That led him to acquire a metal electroplating facility years later. His companies have employed up to 120 people and has 2 locations of operation. The polishing operation runs 800-1000 wheels per day and the chrome plating facility is set-up to chrome plate up to 300 wheels per day. As a family man and business owner, he takes pride in the industry, his crew, and most of all, his customers. He enjoys aloe vera health/wellness and baseball with a passion.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 AM. Around 2:30 PM, I received a call that the four tires I requested to have replaced was ready for pick up. After paying $1,061.57 for the tires and labor, I drove off the lot only for my truck to begin violently shaking, forcing me to pull over immediately. I contacted my husband, who came to assist, but the truck was undrivable. I returned to Stress Free Auto Care and explained the situation. At that point, my husband was already waiting for a tow truck. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told they were closing and would not inspect the vehicle until Monday. I could hear the mechanic complaining that he was tired and didn't want to wait around when the manager went to speak to him. I specifically asked if anyone actually drove my truck to test it and was told no they did not road test it. Obviously. Due to the poor customer service and urgency of the situation, we had the truck towed to Toyota of Orange. After inspection, we were informed that the lug nuts had been grossly over-tightened, three were broken and one was missing entirely. This was not a minor mistake; it caused significant damage to the wheel components and created a serious safety hazard. Proper torque is a basic standard that any competent shop should follow, yet it was clearly ignored. No one from Stress Free Auto Care contacted us at any point the following week. After Toyota kept the truck for a week and a half, we were left with a repair bill of $3,332.03. My husband sent a certified letter to Stress Free Auto Care, including documentation of the damages and requesting reimbursement. The manager eventually responded, offering to reimburse only the cost of the tires without acknowledging the additional damages or expenses incurred. As a result, we have filed a lawsuit to recover our losses. I strongly caution anyone to use Stress Free and to choose a business that values safety, accountability, and professional standards.

What disappointed me most was that I originally thought I would be able to keep my old tire and take it home, because I believed I could patch it myself and keep it as a spare. In the end, that was not how it worked. Their used tire replacement process meant they kept my original tire and gave me another used tire in exchange. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. The service was done quickly, but the overall experience left me feeling less satisfied than before. While six other places quoted us $250-$350 for a "comprehensive" inspection, we paid Arnold $100, which was a STEAL for what he did, even more than what the others promised. We were looking at buying an Audi Q4 e-tron that had a damage report. A reputable dealership told us it was "minor" and offered to take it to the mechanic for our peace of mind. I had already done my due diligence and familiarized myself with the vehicle and potential issues. I asked Arnold very specific, technical questions that I already knew the answers to. I was unfortunately late by 30 minutes, so I waited for two people (I think they both had alignments too?). However I was out by 90 minutes from start to finish. I think they spent about 30 minutes or less on my car which is pretty fast from my experience. They didn't scratch the rims (19 inch staggered wheels like rear 255/35R19) They used torque wrenches. Tires are well balanced using hunter road force balancer and I didn't notice any wobbling or roaring. I'll be back and on time for my other cars :)

I took my vintage motorcycle rack to LM Chrome for a quote. It was in pretty rough shape. I then went to another re-chrome shop in the area to get a 2nd quote. Needless to say, LM was the lowest. LM did an excellent job and had the rack looking new and re-chromed in the time they told me it would take. Excellent experience and great people! read more

I had a custom set of handlebars made for my bike and needed a local shop to chrome it. I was pleasantly surprised when i saw the bars finished. That look awesome. If i have any more parts to chrome i will bring them back to this shop. I will post a pic after they are on the bike. Thanks again guys. read more
